Dr. MadhavMukundanbegan his interest in dentistry while pursuing hisBachelor's of Science, Pre-medicinedegree at theUniversity of Maryland at College Park.This along witha keen interest inpainting and the fine arts led him to enter theDoctor of Dental Surgeryprogram atNew York Universityin Manhattan, New York. After further completing aGeneral Practice Residencyprogram atWyckoff Heights MedicalCenter,affiliated withWeill Medical School of Cornell University, Dr. Mukundan lived and practiced in Manhattan for 8 years before moving to this beautiful area of the world to be closer to family.Dr. Mukundan resides in Monterey with his wife Erin, sons, Ryan and Devan and daughter ,Maya. His keen interests (apart from Dentistry, of course) are in oil painting, fishing, and spending time with family.
Dr.Mukundan is committed to staying up to date with the latest treatments and technologies. He actively attends continuing education courses and is an active member of theAmerican Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Monterey Bay Dental Society.He also is an active member of theMonterey Peninsula Fine Art Foundation.
