Dr. Macri graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2000 and has been practicing in Denver ever since. Dentistry is something he is passionate about. That shows through his constant drive to learn and improve through his commitment to continuing education. Dr. Macri typically takes about 20 to 30 hours of continuing education a year. Whether its an innovative online class, attending a lecture at annual meetings, learning from colleagues in the Metro Denver Dental Society, or with Nobel Biocare, Dr. Macri stays on top of dentistrys latest advancements. That education has resulted in his ability to excel in root canals, implant dentistry, esthetic dentistry, orthodontics, and improvements using cutting-edge technology. Dr. Macri is also certified in Invisalign and laser dentistry.

Dr. Macri has also previously taught dental implant placement to dentists new to this type of restorative treatment. He spent many years volunteering with the Inner City Health Center until his daughter arrived home from Korea. He currently still sees some of the familiar faces from the Center in the office, completing root canals and dental implants at a reduced fee schedule. Along with his team members, Dr. Macri completed a mission trip to Thailand in November of 2018. The staff raised money by volunteering their time. The team hopes to complete another similar mission trip in the future.

Since 2006, Dr. Macri has worked outside the office as an examiner for CRDTS. The Central Regional Dental Testing Service administers the test new graduates take to become licensed. Additionally, he is an expert witness for the Colorado Attorney Generals office and the Colorado State Board of Dental Examiners.

Dr. Macris wife, Ann, is a dentist as well. Though they work in different offices, they share a common interest. They met in high school, dated through college and dental school, then married back in 2000 before moving to Denver.

Dr. Macri is an avid bike ride, downhill skier, and hiker. His family has a goal of seeing all of our countrys beautiful national parks by the time their daughter graduates high school. The family is a constant state of home improvement and love being DIYers.

Janet attended Pickens Technical College for Dental Assisting. Shes been working in dentistry since 2013, and shes been a valuable member of our team since 2015. As our office manager, Janet is tasked with providing leadership, creating great relationships with our patients, assisting with treatment presentations, and supporting our employees. She loves her role as an office manager because theres something different about every day, and Janet has forged meaningful relationships with both her colleagues and patients. She was inspired to enter into dentistry due to years of dental treatments at a young age. Her assistant at the time told Janet now much she loved her job, and Janet was hooked. When you meet Janet, youll find shes honest, ambitious, and empathetic. Janet is very adventurous and enjoys trying new things. In the past, shes completed dental mission trips Cambodia and Thailand. In her free time, she greatly enjoys the outdoors, including traveling, hiking, camping.

Dara is a Louisiana native and joined our team this February of 2018! She has been practicing hygiene for over 12 years and a 2006 graduate of LSU. She prides herself on building lasting relationships and has a true passion for oral and overall health. She has a gentle and genuine approach and is excited to help you take care of all your dental needs. Dara loves her line of work because she enjoys providing exceptional patient care and education. Its all about helping people for Dara and working as part of a team to accomplish oral health goals. If Dara didnt love dental hygiene so much, she says shed probably be a physical education teacher because it combines her love for health, fitness, and play. She says being a dental hygienist at Macri Dental is a uniquely fun experience due to our fun, relaxing environment and working together with her colleagues that are more like friends. Dara has volunteered her time as a Girls on the Run coach, teaching self-esteem lessons to third through fifth-grade girls. She also helps train them for their first ski race. Dara is also an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys running, camping, fishing, cooking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. Shes also a huge Louisiana State University football fan. She loves making authentic southern food for her friends here in Colorado.

Janet joined our team in February 2020 after leaving her previous practice of twenty years. While she is new to our team, she is not new to dentistry and has been practicing dental hygiene since 1994. Building trust and cultivating relationships is something she takes pride in. As a trusted dental hygiene professional, Janet is responsible for providing stellar preventive dental care, hygiene services, and patient education. Janet says she loves her work line because shes part of a cohesive dental family, and she gets to interact and educate patients daily. She loves being part of a close-knit team who truly looks out for one another and honestly cares about our patients. Ask anyone, and theyll tell you that Janet is compassionate, honest, fun, and full of integrity. Shes previously volunteered with the Humane Society and Project Cure. While not a true native, Janet grew up here in Colorado and has been married to a native Coloradoan for 28 years. They have two daughters, 16 and 20. Shes a dog mom too (because life without dogs isnt any fun)! Janet and her husband are DIYers and are currently updating their twenty-year-old home, which keeps them quite busy. Paddleboarding is their newest hobby this summer.

Linh has always had a passion for helping others in the areas of health and wellness. Shes been working in the dental field since 2017 and loves every minute she gets to spend helping her patients feel at home. Her warm bubbly personality makes patients feel at ease. Linh is caring, happy, a confessed foodie, fun, and loving. When shes not busy looking for Dr. Macris glasses, Linh is his right-hand woman. Linh says shes just one of the many gears that help our office run like a well-oiled machine. She says working at Macri Dental and being a member of our patients family is unique because of Dr. Macri and the incredible amount of laughter you hear every day at the office. Linh says dentistry drew in her because it gives her the ability to make people smile and to give them a reason to smile. When not at work, Linh enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies are hiking, traveling, and Netflix. She also likes to try new restaurants and cuisines to open her pallet.

As a dental assistant, Lesley is the familiar face youll see chairside helping Dr. Macri complete treatments. She plays close attention to your oral health, taking notes about changes, etc. When asked what she loves most about her job, Lesley says, everything! She enjoys having the ability always to meet new people and watching the transformations that come from restorative dentistry. Lesley always wanted to pursue a career in the medical field, but a friend introduced her to dentistry, and she was hooked. She says working at Macri Dental is a unique experience because of the team camaraderie. Team bonding is a priority, and you can hear this through the laughter in the office. When Lesley isnt in the office, she enjoys going to the gym, going on brunch dates, painting, and listening to podcasts.
