Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Great overall staff. They've been taking care of me from day one. They've even called my insurance to double check if they aren't willing to cover something. Saved me $100 on one visit alone. Will keep coming back for any dental work I may need. Thank you MDO!

I was always taught that if you have nothing good to say the best thing is to say NOTHING.... I had to give a star in order to post???

(My) dentist Ms Ingram was AWESOME.The Nurse THAT was helping made me feel so comfortable....As a team they worked it......AFTER THE NUMBING OF THE TOOTH AREA,I didn't realize she had pulled my tooth out..That's WHEN you have to classify Ms Ingram as a [SMOOTH OPERATOR]

The whole experience was awesome. I was visiting from Woodstock and needed an emergency visit for infection, they were able to work me in that day. The front office was extremely friendly and accomodating, they thoroughly explained what was going to occur with the consult what the next steps were going to be. Dr. Ingram was the best. She explained what I was going to need to have done, prescribed antibiotic for the current infection. The office manager found an in company periodontist that could perform the work close to my home. Thank you so much, Dr. Ingram, Haley, Sydney and Hannah!

Over 4 weeks waiting on appointment. I called every week and they said they would get back with me. 9 days ago I was told some one would schedule me in a couple of days. Never happened. Reading other reviews there is a scheduling problem in this office. They had a referral, x rays and all the information needed because I checked to make sure they received the correct information. I went somewhere else!

I had a severe tooth ache in my rear molar. No Insurance. Was paying cash. So I called around to several dental offices. This Place wanted $1,500.00 Up for Visit, Exam and Xray. Plus an Additional 259.00 if they Pulled the Tooth.. Ridiculous.....

I normally hate going to the dentist. But the ladies at the Macon Dentist Office make it enjoyable. Everyone is super friendly and they are always so helpful. Highly recommend them if you're looking for a new dentist. A+++ rating from me.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. If you have an emergency and are a new patient they will make 0 effort to fit you in any sooner than 6 weeks, even if you have an infection, severe pain and the inability to chew/eat. I called another office and explained the situation and was able to get in ASAP, even as a new patient and a full schedule. So it is possible to fit in new patients on an emergency basis, you just have to care enough to actually make the effort to get it done.

THIS PLACE IS VERY RACIST. I HAVE HAD TOOTH PAIN FOR A YEAR NOW. FINALLY CALLED MACON DENTIST OFFICE AND WAS TREATED RUDELY. HANNAH IS VERY RUDE AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL. I CALLED ON A THIRSDAY AND SHE LIED AND SAID OFFICE WAS CLOSED ON THURSDAYS. I HAVE AN EMERGENCY TOOTH PAIN AND THEY AT FIRST TOLD ME I COULD SCHEDULE IN AUGUST. CALLED BACK ON A MONDAY AND HANNAH TOLD ME I COULDNT SCHEDULE UNTIL OCTOBER. ITS FUNNY HOW ALL OTHERS COULD GET SEEN WITHIN TWO WEEKS BUT I GOT TO WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER. ITS JULY NO ONE CAN WAIT THAT LONG AGAIN IF THEY HAVE HEADACHES FROM TOOTH PAIN. I TIRED TO EXPLAIN MY PAIN AND CONCERN AND THEY ACT AS IF THEY DID NOT CARE. I HATE THIS COMPANY AND EVERYTHING IN IT. THEY DONT CARE UNLESS YOUR WHITE. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. If you have an emergency and are a new patient they will make 0 effort to fit you in any sooner than 6 weeks, even if you have an infection, severe pain and the inability to chew/eat. Terrible service. Twice. Rude incompetent staff and dentist. Seek dental care elsewhere!

I called everywhere trying to get an appointment to have my tooth extracted. It kept getting infected and I was in pain. Other dentists tried to book me out until September. I spoke with Hannah and she was able to get me in within two weeks. All the ladies at the front desk are very nice. The oral surgeon was behind schedule for my appointment, but I know that things can happen beyond his control. I was very nervous about the extraction. He was understanding and made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing dental treatment.

I had my 6 month cleaning. Went into the office and the Receptionist said the hygienist put together a plan and I would need to pay $125. I asked why did she put together a plan without consulting me? I was there just for my 6 month cleaning. Recieved my EBO in the mail. They charged me with a $95 hygiene instruction. REALLY? Beware, make sure before you are taken back that there are no surprise charges added on. I should have stopped by the desk before I left, but I never thought extra charges would be placed after my cleaning. Will diffently find a dentist office with integrity. Will never return or recommend Macon Dentist to anyone!

I was in terrible pain & they were terribly busy. However they worked me in anyway. Tooth was pulled within two hours of calling! A great staff with great attitudes! This was my first time at this dentist because my dentist office said it would be two weeks before they could see me. Glad I called them! I will use them in the future.

They told me they really only see 10-12 year Olds with dental problems. Then try to talk you into not making an appointment. When you insist they change the time and don't tell you. They told me they really only do cleanings since there is only 1 doctor. We were established patients for 18 months. Will never go back.

I cannot say enough about the staff at Macon Dentist. From the receptionist to the xray tech to the dental hygienist to Dr. Ingram. They were so kind and patient with me ( I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist). I have finally found a permanent dentist!!!!
