Hello, my name is Dr. Amit Batra. I am a husband and father of two energetic young boys. I was born and raised in New Jersey. After obtaining my degree in engineering I decided on a career change, which led me to the University of Michigan school of Dentistry.
I am extremely excited to bring you my dental office full of new and exciting amenities just for kids. Macomb Childrens Dentistry specializes in pediatric dental care for children from birth to teens. We focus on creating a fun and comfortable environment that will help make kids forget they are at the dentist. TVs in the ceilings in treatment areas, nitrous oxide sedation (laughing gas), video game stations in the reception room are few of the many amenities that are offered at Macomb Childrens Dentistry.
Dr. Kiran Ranganath received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York. He brings over 15 years of experience in dentistry. Dr. R has a masters degree in public health and worked several years as a clinical assistant professor in the division of pediatric dentistry at the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Dr. Tiberia has been practicing in the metro Detroit area for over twenty years. She received her dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School and then competed her specialty training at the University of Michigan. She is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Tiberia is on staff at Beaumont Royal Oak where she treats patients who are better served in a hospital setting and also volunteers at Beaumonts Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Clinic. In addition to lecturing across the state, teaching residents as well as mentoring students interested in pursuing dentistry, she is active in organized dentistry serving on the MDAs peer review and ethics committee and is a Past President of the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.Dr. Tiberia lives in Rochester Hills with her husband, Gian, and their two daughters, Layla and Zara.

Today was our first experience with this dentist office and all I can say is I wish we would have found this place sooner. I found them through a recommendation on a local Facebook group after her usual dentist was dropping the ball and not helping us with a tooth issue we were dealing with. After researching the practice and reading through all of the exceptional reviews, I called to get more information and the receptionist was incredibly kind, patient and informative with all of my questions regarding an extraction. My daughter was extremely anxious and scared of the appointment, and the way that Dr. Tiberia and her assistant, Cheyenne, handled it from start to finish is nothing short of exceptional. It's rare I encounter such great customer service and experiences that I feel compelled to leave a review--but they definitely provided 5-star service that should be recognized. From acknowledging her fears to explaining the process to her in a way that made her comfortable and more at ease every step of the way helped this mama feel more at ease also. My daughter was shocked the tooth was already out when it was, and she actually started giggling with relief. She has already asked if we can switch to their office for all of her dental needs going forward, and I'm pleased to say that will be our plan. Thank you for the smooth process!

The place is very nice. This was our first time here. My son had a great experience. TV screens in the ceiling for the kids to relax and watch a movie. I just seemed to take a very long time.

I brought my son here from a previous dentist and they were so patient and sweet with my 3yr old. He had to take x-rays and they tried their absolute best to make it easy to take them. Dr Batra was his doctor and he was so nice and made me at ease knowing my son is in great hands. Gave lots of goodies and he enjoyed watching the tv on the ceiling. By the time he left, he was happy and smiling. Anytime some one needs a dentist, I will always recommend this place!

I absolutely love this place!! Two of my three children visit. They even have a play area for kids. They're so tentative, professional and are great with making your child feel very comfortable!! My 5 year old is now excited to go to the dentist! That's a plus in my book!

The office provides great customer service from the front desk to the back clinic staff. Organized and communicate treatment and fees. No surprise fees. The Doctors are caring, efficient and fast when treating children. Overall, experience has been pleasant. If you have a child I highly recommend this office!

I WISH I have looked all negative reviews before hand. If your child's needs dental work I would FROM ALL MY HEART recommend you to find another place . Only treatment they offer is in hospital to put your child to GENERAL ANESTHESIA despite your child doing absolutely AMAZING during dental cleaning siting there without moving. So why put him/her to sleep to make your job easier or just simple being incapable of doing your dentist job. Sad thing is I called to see what my other options are and only responses was this is what has showed the best to them!! Not caring what your opinion or choice you want to make for best interest of your child. Ohhh and I called to tell them my child has small Abscess having us waited for that appointment to be made with local anesthesia, manager gets nasty tell us it's neglect and that " they can refuse" to treat this abscess do to us not having my child put to this PREFERRED METHOD of theirs !!!! Like don't tell me this after you guys made us wait for this cavity to escalate to infection because we refuse to put a child to sleep to have simple dental work done !! Never having issues with this child's cleaning every appointment we attended to maintain heathy teeth . Look elsewhere after you see your child gets even smallest cavities they will make you wait till it's TO late to accept anything but what THEY OFFER YOU!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE PS.This place is awesome only for cleaning and checkups I gotta give credit to these ladies really do a great job but that's all you get UNFORTUNATELY.
