Lillian was born and raised in Twisp, Washigton where early on she learned the value of being surrounded by nature and good people. After graduating from the University of Washington with a Bachelors of Arts in journalism she saw as much of the world as she could. It wasn't too long before the lure of swimming in clear waters and small town living eventually brought Lillian east to Sandpoint.

Fast forward to today, she is the smiling face who greets you when you step into our office. When she's not working behind the front desk, Lillian can be found laughing, dancing and exploring with her two favorite people- her daughters Eimear (age 5) and Neave (and 2.)

Shawn feels lucky to have grown up here in Sandpoint, Idaho. She feels even more lucky to have been able to come back and raise her girls in such a beautiful place. She feels having a career in Dental Hygiene helped make that possible.

Shawn has two very beautiful girls named Bailey (19) and Danika (17). As a family they love to hike, boat, snow ski, swim, ride ATV's and camp. She also enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing and anything at or on the lake. Travel is a passion of hers and she hopes to do much more in the future. She looks forward every year to the Festival, Arts and Crafts Fair, Schweitzer Wine Fest and Fall Fest.

She has worked as a hygienist for 23 years, 22 have been here in Sandpoint. Shawn graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked her first year in Bozeman, Montana. Although it was great there, she is thankful to be back home and doing what she loves.

Sue was raised in Spokane and Hayden Lake. In 1989 she received her degree from Eastern Washington University and moved to Seattle, where she lived and worked for 17 years. Although she enjoyed the career opportunities in the city, her heart was always in Idaho. She returned to the area in 2012 shortly after meeting her husband. They reside in the beautiful town of Hope where they enjoy fishing, boating, ATVing and picking mushrooms and huckleberries.

Dr. Joni MacNeill was born in a small town in Wyoming, surrounded by extended family. At age 10 her family moved to the Seattle area, but she considers herself a small town girl at heart. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington, then completed her dental degree in 2005 at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She then returned to the Seattle area to be closer to family. There she was able to practice dentistry for 10 years with her mentor, who encouraged her to complete a series of comprehensive continuing education courses at the distinguished Kois Center for Advanced Dental Studies, which she graduated from in 2011. While in Seattle she was reacquainted with her childhood friend, Matt, whom she soon married. They now have two beautiful, energetic and smart young girls named Elise (8) and Mya (6).

The MacNeills love the beauty and recreational opportunities that North Idaho has to offer, but it was the chance to raise their girls in such an amazing community that called them to Sandpoint. The patients and friends they have met have been incredibly welcoming. The way that people talk with such love of their town makes them grateful to call Sandpoint their home as well.

Dr. MacNeill feels that the most enjoyable aspect of her job is getting to know her patients and their families so well over the years she sees them. She takes time to listen to each person so she can understand their oral health goals and be better able to help them achieve those goals. She and her staff believe in prevention, gentle dentistry and keeping you on the path of health and a beautiful smile.

Gina was born and raised in southern California and moved up to Sagle with her family in the summer of 2018. She spent the last few years working with preschool children and just recently chose to follow in her sister's footsteps and pursue a career in dental assisting. When she is not at work, she enjoys gardening and doing landscape and wildlife photography. She and her husband, Jesse, spend all the time they can outdoors, whether it be fishing, hiking, kayaking or just exploring the endless beauty here in Idaho. They absolutely love being a part of the community of Sandpoint and are looking forward to raising their future family in such an amazing town.

Very shady practice. Scheduled my wife and I for cleanings and provided my Government Employee Insurance and was NEVER informed prior to cleanings that they don't accept our insurance. Finally told after the work was done that we owe nearly $1000 out of pocket. They wont accept what I can afford to pay monthly and are threatening collections now. Do not recommend MacNeill Family Dental.
