Dr . Spinello was born in California, the daughter of an Air Force Colonel and lived in several states before settling in Wisconsin at the age of 12. She attended the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where she pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and English. In 2007, she graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. She was awarded the Hunt Scholarship for excellent academic performance. After graduating she completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry through Lutheran Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. In 2008, she relocated her family to Rochester, NY. From 2008 to 2020 she was the managing dentist at a group practice in Batavia, NY. She is a member of the American Dental Association and NY Dental Society. She is Invisalign certified and attends continuing educational courses around the country every year so that she can stay current with the rapidly changing field of dentistry and learn of new technology and procedures in order to provide superior care to her patients.

Even though digital x-rays produce a low level of radiation and are considered very safe, dentists still take necessary precautions to limit the patients exposure to radiation. These precautions include only taking those x-rays that are necessary, and using lead apron shields to protect the body.
The need for dental x-rays depends on each patients individual dental health needs.Our dentist and dental hygienist will recommend necessary x-rays based upon the review of your medical and dental history, a dental exam, signs and symptoms, your age, and risk of disease.
A full mouth series of dental x-rays is recommended for new patients. A full series is usually good for three to five years. Bite-wing x-rays (x-rays of top and bottom teeth biting together) are taken at recall (check-up) visits and are recommended once or twice a year to detect new dental problems.

Arrived at the appointed time. Waited about 10 minutes and then was brought into the part of the office where my filling was taken care of. It was fast, efficient and painless. The application of the novocain was great after they numbed the area with a local pain killer. I enjoyed my visit.

Sarah cleans my teeth - she is ALWAYS so gentle and thorough. My mouth feels amazing when she is done. And Lisa is always so nice and also gentle. I have dental anxiety and everyone always makes me feel so welcome and comfortable. Now I love going to the dentist!

I finally found a great dentist office! Tho I'm petrified of dental work I cannot believe how dr Lisa and staff are so gentle, kind and understanding of my fear. I love this place, I had alot of anxiety with dentists, and did have with my first couple of times with Dr. Lisa, but let me tell ya I couldn't feel more comfortable with her, she is amazing, and all the staff is awesome as well, I had to have alot of work done and I am now done as of September 29th, I now go to the dentist with such less anxiety and just let her do her thing!!! I can now smile with confidence and not cover my mouth, she doesn't realize that but I do!!! Thanks Dr. Lisa for all ya do and what ya have done for me!!! I reccomend her as your dentist!!!

Office manager told me they were in network for my insurance. They were not and she didn't decide to tell me until after my third appt. This made my bill go through the roof because of not being in network. I decided I was just going to pay it and move on. Started making payments( because it was such a huge bill) on what I owed them and then they decided to just send me to collections. Office manager told me she was going to ruin my life by destroying my credit. If they would have just told me they weren't in my insurance network ,I would have just gone somewhere else. Very Dishonest and rude!

ZERO STARS. Rudest receptionist I've ever dealt with. after my experience yesterday I will go else where. I cant help but assume that if the woman who took my call yesterday treated me this way. How will the medical staff handle me? I am in desperate need of dental care and she was in such a rush to get off the phone (after less than 20 seconds) that I will go else where. She wouldn't help me. I understand that she may have been busy but she could've handled it differently. I'm in the medical field too and I would have lost my job if I treated a patient this way.

Aggressive sales behavior. Overly assertive about moving forward with procedures. Only explanation was "it wont hurt" dr lisa did not establish trust or credibility. Extremely awkward encounter.
