Dr. Capasso was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduating from High School in 1998, he moved to South Florida to pursue a career in the Healthcare field. He attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2002. Dr. Capasso went on to receive his Dental Medical Doctor degree in 2007 at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Capasso has been practicing dentistry in South Florida for 11 years. However, he continues to regularly attend dental conferences in order to keep up with the latest materials and technologies available to his patients. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and South Florida District Dental Association.
As a practitioner, his main objective is to make his patients feel as comfortable as possible. His treatment philosophy is centered around providing painless treatment in order to make your dental visit a pleasant experience. When it comes to treatment planning, Dr. Capasso does not believe in SELLING treatment but in PROVIDING the best treatment for his patient at a fair and reasonable cost.

Dr. Capasso is not just a great dentist but he actually makes going to he dentist a pleasant experience. He's super personable and it's a small office with a personal touch unlike the larger chain practices. A+

So, I almost never write reviews and I HATE(d) going to the dentist. Yet, here I am writing this review and actually looking forward to getting more dental work done... I made it to my appointment at MAC a few minutes early thinking I'd probably have to wait an hour to be seen like happens at pretty much any and every doctor's appointment. Instead, I was taken back right away. The staff was very kind and courteous, allaying much of my anxiety, and the dentist made me feel even more comfortable. He was also very honest. There are a few cosmetic procedures in which I'm interested and he made sure to detail the negatives as well as the positives. I only went in for a cleaning and dental exam, but I'm excited to be going back soon for whitening. I've never had a better experience going to the dentist.

I do not write these much, but I felt compelled to post this review. I was referred to Dr. Capasso by a friend. After not being to the Dentist in years (Prior horrible experience) which left me both afraid of the dentist and needles in my mouth. Let me just say that kudos to Dr. Capasso and his staff not only was I seen at 3:30 for my 3:30 appointment!!! (an extinct practice in Miami), it was a pain-free filling WITHOUT having to inject me. I was terrified but Dr. Capasso explained thoroughly what exactly would be done, heck he even drew me a picture. Best experience I have had hands down (I have been living in Miami over 20 years). I know there are plenty of options when it comes to dentist, but I can tell you I have yet to meet a better dentist. Thank you doc, looking forward to seeing you again.
