Kent Smith is proud to bring thoughtfulness back to dentistry, and hes ready to take the time and put in the effort the big corporate dental offices simply wont. From routine checkups to state-of-the-art dental implants and everything in between, he and his team are ready to go above and beyond so you achieve a gorgeous smile and enjoy a relaxing journey along the way.
Everyone has had the experience of going to the dentist and spending literally less than five minutes with the doctor as they rush around the dental office, leaving you feeling ignored and unimportant. At our dental office, however, we schedule our patients in such a way that Dr. Smith can give each individual the dedicated attention they deserve. With him, youll feel like youre the only patient in the world as he takes the time to listen to your concerns and thoroughly answer your questions so you leave our dental office smiling both inside and out.
When it comes to toothaches and dental injuries, youre much better off visiting a dentist instead of an emergency room, and youll find one with all the experience and training you need right here at our dental office. Dr. Smith has been taking care of Edmond smiles since 1988 and is able to handle all kinds of urgent dental issues, and our same-day scheduling ensures that you and your loved ones will never have to wait long to get the relief you deserve.
After completing his undergraduate degree at Stephen F. Austin State University in 1982, Dr. Smith attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1986. Following graduation, he was able to continue his education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and also received advanced training during his residency at the VA Medical Center, the Childrens Hospital, the ODonoghue Rehabilitation Hospital, and Oklahoma Memorial Hospital.
Following this phase of his education, Dr. Smith served as an associate in a Oklahoma City dental office before opening this very dental office in 1988. Today, he still regularly pursues continuing education opportunities in his quest for clinical excellence.
Dr. Smith has been married to his best friend Leslye since 1983, and they have four wonderful adult children together. Theres Jessica and her husband Beau, Rachel and her husband Cody, Ashton and her husband Dylan, and their son Brett. They also have two precious grandchildren named Kinley and Camden!
Rachel has been a part of our team for 5 years, and she loves being the first person a patient sees when they walk in. Nothing makes her happier than ensuring someone feels comfortable and welcomed from the moment they step through our doors! Rachel is OSHA and HIPAA certified. She and her husband, Cody, have a young son named Camden as well as two dogs. When she isnt at the dental office, youll most likely find Rachel spending time with her family, watching sports, cooking, going to concerts, or walking her dogs.
A 15-year dentistry veteran, Skylee truly loves working with the rest of our team and having the opportunity to serve our community on a daily basis. A graduate of Platt College, she is certified in intraoral photos and Invisalign. She has three very smart and beautiful daughters as well as a sweet granddaughter she looks forward to spoiling. At home, she likes to spend her free time cooking for her family, traveling, and watching documentaries.
Jessica brings 8 years of experience to our team, and she says the best part of her job is building relationships with each of our patients and watching them change as we help them achieve their smile goals. In addition to her hygiene training, she also has certifications in soft tissue laser therapy, OSHA, HIPAA, periodontal screening, and treatment planning. Jessica is a very artistic person. She has a music degree and once sang with the Houston Grand Opera, and she is also a mixed media and digital artist. She is the owner of Mixed Soul Studio and enjoys doing several shows each year as well as keeping up with an Etsy shop. When she isnt making something or attending a concert, youll find her spending time with her husband, teenage boys, three crazy dogs, and two cats.

I have anxiety from past dental experiences. Dr. Smith and staff insured I felt safe and was kept apprised of everything going on the entire time. The lovely assistant, I am sorry I can't remember your name ty for the blanket. Thank you all for making a normally terrible experience safe and as pleasant as possible. I recommend Dr. Smith and staff to anyone that has anxiety surrounding dental procedures. I will not be going anywhere else if I can help it. Top notch care and service.

I am a person who is terrified by the dentist, but Dr. Smith, his assistant Skylee and hygienist Jessica are an amazing team! They put my nerves at rest! I can't forget about Rachel, who answered all my insurance questions and helped with my appointment! Office is nice and clean! The staff and atmosphere is outstanding!!! I will recommend Dr. Smith to my friends and family!

Doctor Smith and his staff are the most caring, loving and compassionate group I have ever come across while visiting for a dental procedure. Many people are always a little nervous to go to the dentist but knowing I am in good hands makes for a great experience. Look no further as I know you will be in great hands!

The dentist office was nasty it was blood all over the chairs and they used to crack mirror to even try to look in my mouth with I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you wanted disease

For a gentleman, I love this office. I am not a good dental patient; however, Dr. Smith and his staff are very friendly and take all measures to ensure that I am comfortable during my treatment. Dr. Smith takes his time and does a fantastic job restoring smiles. His staff is the best around!!

Dr.Kent Smith saw me on a Sunday when his office was closed and extracted 2 teeth for me. He talked to me the whole time making sure I was okay and comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend seeing him if your having dental issues.

I have been in his chair quite a lot lately, taking care of things that shouldn't of been put off and every single time was pleasant. The ENTIRE staff is kind and professional and I look forward to my next visit! I just switched to Dr Smith after not seeing a dentist in a few years. I wanted a smaller dental office that actually cares and doesn't have new staff every 6 months. All the staff is super sweet! They took the time to explain what was going on and didn't talk down to me like every dentist has before! Highly recommend!
