Dr. Kims extensive and unique training background has made him an excellent and well-rounded dentist who is able to provide his patients with the most comprehensive care possible. Dr. Kim offers many customized services, from diagnosis and treatment planning to post-operative care. Dr. Kim earned the status of sub-captain on his high school rugby team and graduated as the valedictorian with numerous honors. He was then admitted to a dental program at the most prestigious university in South Korea. After getting his first Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Yonsei University, South Korea, Dr. Kim served in the army for three years as the director of the Oral Health Department in Anseong where he was also named president of the Public Health Doctors Association. During that time, he went through an orthodontic training program at the Yonsei Esthetic Orthodontic Specialty Clinic. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, Dr. Kim was appointed to the faculty at the USC School of Dentistry. His extensive experience and knowledge have lead him to teach in the Oral Surgery, Fixed Prosthodontics, Operative Dentistry, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning Departments at USC. Dr. Kim is extremely delicate and pays extra attention to detail while caring for his patients. He demonstrates a great depth of knowledge and passion for excellence.
Dr. Ho Jung Kim has graduated from two leading dental schools: University of Southern California and Seoul National University in Korea and is extremely kind and caring. Her main priorities are to make sure that her patients are aware of all the options and treatments available and to answer all of their questions. Her expertise, knowledge and attention to detail come from the extensive training she underwent in Biomimetic Dentistry while she was working towards her second Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at USC. Biomimetic means to copy or mimic nature. This philosophy of oral health leads Dr. Kim to take her time to conserve as much of the healthy tooth structure as she can to restore teeth to their most natural and healthy condition. This process involves using advanced techniques including the use of composite resin and porcelain onlays.
Dr. Kwak is a board-certified orthodontist. She completed her orthodontic residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she also served as faculty from 2013 to 2020. There, she was the Clinic Director for 3.5 years. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
Dr. Kwaks clinical expertise includes orthodontics for children to promote favorable dental and skeletal growth and development, and orthodontics for adults that requires team work with other specialties, such as general/restorative, periodontics, prosthodontics, oromaxillofacial surgery, endodontics and orofacial pain. Dr. Kwak is highly experienced in contemporary orthodontic techniques, including Invisalign, lingual braces, orthodontic miniscrew-implants (a.k.a. TADs), and surgery-first orthodontics (braces for jaw surgery with no/minimal pre-surgical orthodontics for faster esthetic result). She has been teaching these techniques as faculty and received several awards from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.
Dr. Kwak enjoys building a trusting relationship with her patients and she is dedicated to providing the best possible esthetic, functional and long-lasting results to her patients and that in a fun way! Outside of work, Dr. Kwak enjoys hiking, paddle boarding and bike riding at the beach with her family.
Dr. Seung Min Jung was originally from South Korea and studied in New York University College of Dentistry. After he graduated from NYU College of Dentistry, he went back to South Korea to serve in the army for two years. When Dr. Jung completed the military service, he came back to New York and started his training in General Residency Program (GPR) at Montefiore Medical Center. He then practiced in New Mexico for two years to provide oral health care to patients and a community. Dr.Jung is passionate about learning and provides high quality care to patients.
Dr. Christiana Lee obtained her Bachelors degree from the University of the Pacific and went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. During her time in dental school, she carried out her passion for community dentistry by joining the Special Patients Clinic, a department at USC that focused on the dental care of patients with complex medical and mental health needs. Dr. Lee dedicated her school breaks to dental mission trips abroad. As a core member of the Christian Dental Medical Association, she participated in many weeklong trips to various rural villages in Guatemala to help provide free dental treatment to those with no access to such care. Upon graduating from USC Dental School, Dr. Lee decided to further her education by pursuing a General Practice Residency at the VA Greater Los Angeles where she pursued an optional second year as chief resident. Her ultimate goal as a dentist is to deliver ethical and comprehensive dental care for all patients seeking to improve their oral health. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Lee enjoys solving jigsaw puzzles, camping, gardening, making handmade cards, and spending time with her family and hyper dog.
Jane has been in the dental field for 20 years. First starting out as a registered dental assistant and her passion for dentistry inspired her to further her education by becoming a dental hygienist. Jane loves to interact and get to know her patients. She is also passionate about educating her patients in the importance of oral hygiene. Jane is originally from New Jersey. She currently lives in La Mirada, CA with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, various activities including going to the beaches, swimming and traveling.
Alicia graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing dental hygiene for more than 15 years. Her goal is to make sure every patient has a great dental experience in her chair by educating on proper oral hygiene at home as well as treating their individual needs in our practice. On the weekends she likes to spend time reading,going for nature hikes and spending quality time with her husband and kitties.
Its been such a great journey to have been in the dental field for close to 20 years. I started out as a dental assistant in Newport Beach and worked my way up to registered dental assistant working in Beverly Hills. And then I went back to school because I really wanted to make a difference in peoples smiles. I finished school and graduated as a registered dental hygienist and it was the best decision that I could have ever made. I love being a hygienist , I love working and talking to people and building those relationships that are so important. When Im not working I am spending time playing at the park with my two little boys and hiking around the trails with them and my husband. They are the joy in my life and make my heart so full.
