Dr. Steven LysenkoDr. Lysenko graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and subsequently completed a General Practice residency at St. Clares Hospital in Schenectady, New York. He particularly enjoys oral surgery, prosthetic dentistry and endodontics. He finds all aspects of cosmetic and esthetic dentistry especially rewarding, as this can have an enormous impact on patients lives. His other passions include spending time with his wife and two daughters, photography, biking, being a gentleman farmer and all forms of outdoor pursuits.
Dr. Danielle LloydDr. Lloyd obtained her BS in Biology at Siena College before obtaining her dental degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating, she completed a General Practice Residency at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY. Dr. Lloyd is certified in Invisalign and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry particularly cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry, as well as oral surgery. She has had much experience with the pediatric dental population as she has worked for several years on the Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile, which has provided dental treatment to many children within the city of Albany. Dr. Lloyd has donated her time to several dental outreach programs providing treatment and education on a mission trip to an under served community in the Dominican Republic, and also at various Special Olympic events, and Give Kids a Smile Day programs. She is committed to a high standard of excellence in personalized dental care. In addition to dentistry, she enjoys running, cycling, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Matt and her sons Ryder and Nico, and her daughter, Reagan.
Dr. Kristen GeistDr. Geist grew up in Voorheesville and loves being part of such a wonderful community. She is passionate about health and wellness, and studied nutritional sciences, human biology, and inequality studies at Cornell University. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she completed an Esthetic Minor. Dr. Geist completed an additional year of training and clinical dental practice at Ellis Hospital as a General Practice Resident. She has volunteered locally and internationally to provide dental services for those without access to care.
Dr. Geist enjoys helping her patients understand how their oral health can contribute to their overall wellness. She focuses on prevention and education, and strives to provide high quality, conservative dentistry. She aims to create a gentle, stress-free experience that is customized for each patients needs. She particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry, sleep dental medicine, and helping her patients look and feel their best. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, family and friends, as well as cooking, traveling, and being active.

I'm up here for the summer from Alabama. My tooth fractured an couldn't find anyone in my area to help after dealing with it for almost 3 weeks. A friend recommended them an they brought me in the next day after contacting them. They took awesome care of me an helped me get into an oral surgeon very quickly. It was worth the 1hr20 min drive to their office. Recommend them to anyone an will go to them again. The staff was so nice an friendly an Dr Lysenko an Dr Giest were so sweet an caring. Thank you for all you did for me.

I was terrified of getting any kind of dental work done because of what I've been through with my last dentist, but that was before I started going to Dr. Geist. She is kind, understanding, patient, and makes the whole process so comfortable and easy to get through. I can't imagine going anywhere other than Lysenko Dental.

I can't think of a better dental experience. Even though my teeth were encrusted with tartar, the hygienist took on the task with diligence and tenderness. She continually monitored my comfort level. Dr Geist, the dentist did a complete checkup, did not rush and showed genuine concern about my health (not just my teeth). She previously installed two crowns on top of my implants and made sure that everything was perfect. She just recently put a bridge into my wife's mouth. My wife couldn't be happier at the care she has received from Dr Geist and the rest of the staff. It's great to know there are health care professionals out there like these.

Dr Lysenko and the entire practice is so incredibly kind and beyond accommodating. I am always treated with the upmost respect and enjoy my conversations with him and his colleagues. I have never felt more comfortable at a practice in my life. After going here for so long I feel as though they have become part of my extended family as I frequent the office regularly. Dr Lysenko is truly amazing and I will miss him sincerely when he retires. Thank god he is leaving us all in good hands!!! Brooke Plotzker

To be clear, I absolutely love Dr. Lysenko, he is probably the best dentist I've ever had...very gentle, kind and does quality work. Unfortunately I decided to leave the practice a couple years ago because I could no longer take the rudeness and harassment from the office manager. My family was going through a rough time financially and with a death in the family, so we fell behind on a payment plan we had. Mind you, we had spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars there already and they had also been paid hundreds upon hundreds of dollars by our insurance company. I repeatedly received calls from the office manager about taking care of the balance and despite explaining my situation, every time we spoke, I was basically brow beaten and shamed that we were behind on payment. I'm sorry, but I had to choose to feed my 3 children before paying the little money we had at the time to this dental office. The downfall of this office is that they are not in network for any insurance companies, but they will bill your insurance. There's just no discounted rates since they don't participate with insurance and you end up owing a lot of money out of pocket. It truly makes me sad that I can't use this dentist anymore, because I have since been unable to find a dentist in the area who provides as high of a level of care.

My husband and I both go to this office and see Dr. Lloyd. She is an absolutely wonderful dentist. She is kind, calm, thorough, and always explains everything to make you feel comfortable. The office is clean, bright, and welcoming. Everyone who works there is friendly and seem happy to be there. We are certain we found the best dentist in the area.

I never thought I would love a dental practice as much as I do until I came here! I always feel a warm welcome from the the office staff and Dr. Geist whenever I arrive for my appointment. She is hands down the best dentist I have ever gone to! I didn't think it was possible to actually enjoy going to the dentist, but I do now! After coming here and having work done with Dr. Geist, I now realize that I never had good dental work done before. I suffer from TMJ and getting dental work in the past had always been very painful because of that, on top of the pain from the work that was actually being done. However, with Dr. Geist I have the upmost confidence in her abilities because she has always been aware of this and goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable. I had to have several things treated and every time I was put at ease because she is very good at explaining what she was going to do. It really doesn't have to be painful to have work done, you just need to find the right dentist and Dr. Geist is that dentist! For years I was also self conscious of how one of my front teeth wasn't straight like it used to be. When I mentioned this to Dr. Geist she worked her magic very quickly. I'm honestly not quite sure what she did, but when I was done she made my tooth look straight again without any Invisalign or anything! For this I am so grateful! I also really like that the practice now offers a loyalty program. If you try Lysenko Dental, you will not be disappointed!

Since I have been going to this practice, my "dentist anxiety" is nearly non-existence except when I need an impression (I gag licking a stamp!). I am fully informed of any procedure that is recommend, the office staff is friendly and excellent at what they do, and the dentist are highly skilled. I have never had an issue with this practice. Highly recommended.

Dr. Lloyd is a wonderful dentist and always manages to make me feel at ease during appointments. I've been coming to this office for over 10 years and everyone here has always been so friendly, courteous, and professional. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I wasn't necessarily a person who would have said I had dental phobia but after going to Dr. Geist I realized that I've always had a bit of anxiety going to the dentist given my TMJ and tight jaw. She is hands down the best dentist I've gone to! She is gentle + communicative, which is a clearly what you'd want when someone has their hands in your mouth for an extended period of time! Dr. Geist and the whole team are amazing, I'd highly recommend them over any other dentists in the area (and I've tried several over my lifetime living in the area)!

Dr Geist and the rest of the team are phenomenal. I have been having some problems with work done by another dental team and they took the lead and are resolving the issues for me! They are by far the best dental team around
