Dr. Rivera is a Lyon County native raised in Eddyville, Kentucky just 2 blocks from Lyon Family Dental. He graduated as Salutatorian from Lyon County High School in 2009. Dr. Rivera attended the University of Kentucky and graduated in 2013 cum laude and received Departmental Honors in Biology. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
Dr. Rivera continually seeks innovative ways to communicate with patients and break down barriers to ensure patients get the care they need. He is a passionate and dedicated dentist that focuses on improving the overall health of his patients by utilizing his expertise in oral health. His commitment to the community is second to none. Dr. Rivera and his teams have donated countless hours to veterans, schools, first responders, healthcare providers, and so many more. In addition, every year Dr. Rivera also gives away a free smile makeover to someone who is deserving and would otherwise not be able to afford dental care. He emphasizes listening with two ears and one heart. Dr. Rivera strives to make his office unique by providing exceptional and beautiful dentistry utilizing modern technologies all while maintaining an inviting, comfortable, and relaxed environment.
Jaylyn is a Lyon County native from Kuttawa, Kentucky. She graduated in 2010 from Lyon County High School. She attended the University of Kentucky and finished her studies earning a B.S. in Dental Hygiene at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2016 where she graduated cum laude. Jaylyn has earned multiple awards in her studies including 1st place honors at the Kentucky Dental Hygiene Association Table Clinic. Jaylyn has had extensive experience in Dentistry beginning with her training as an expanded duties dental assistant. Jaylyn has served patients working in high-end cosmetic and orthodontic practices in Lexington and Louisville Kentucky. Jaylyn is passionate about dentistry and seeks to educate and empower her patients so they can achieve a healthier life and achieve their highest potential.

I love it here. The doctor is kind and takes time to explain everything. Everyone is really nice. I appreciate all the extra steps they take to make sure you are comfortable. And that they don't over numb like some of my previous dentist. Also my toddler had a check up here and she still asks if she can go back.

Wow! We are so blessed to have this gem of a dental office in Eddyville. I had many obstacles getting my boys there and they worked with this mama who just took a job far from home. The let me pay over the phone with my debit card which was so nice and the dentist got on the phone and explained to me things I didn't understand. The customer service here is top notch, not to mention the amazing rooms!

It was my first time at Lyon Family Dental and I was very impressed! I had used my previous dentist since early childhood (30+ years) but needed to find somewhere new for my family and I due to his upcoming retirement. The staff at Lyon Family Dental are so friendly and knowledgeable and the rooms were clean and sterile while still being comfortable. They even have tvs on the ceiling so that you can lay back and relax during your dental procedure! They use the most modern and up to date technology so I will definitely be coming back!

Great office and easy to find. Plenty of parking. Valerie at the front desk immediately made me feel right at home when I walked in the door. Looks and smells clean. The staff who took care of me was friendly, professional, and courteous who made me feel like family. My process began with Kaitlyn who listened to my complaint and took the best and least painful x-rays ever. Next, Jaylyn (the hygienist) was gentle and did a great job cleaning my teeth. I knew I was in great hands with Dr. Dom who was honest, informative and has a keen eye for detail. I would highly recommend this office!!!
