Dr. Travis grew up on Long Island and is a graduate of Massapequa High School. Recognizing her interest in dentistry early on, her first job while in high school was as a dental assistant. She continued to work as she went to college at Hofstra University, where she graduated top of her class with a BA in Psychology. Pursuant of her dream, she attended SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and received her DDS degree in 1999.
To further her training as a general dentist, she completed a residency program at Stony Brook University Hospital. Since June of 2000, Dr. Travis has enjoyed practicing all phases of general dentistry in private practice.
Dr. Travis currently resides nearby with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Going to the beach, gardening and attending her childrens sporting events are among her favorite things to do.
