Dr. Travis grew up on Long Island and is a graduate of Massapequa High School. Recognizing her interest in dentistry early on, her first job while in high school was as a dental assistant. She continued to work as she went to college at Hofstra University, where she graduated top of her class with a BA in Psychology. Pursuant of her dream, she attended SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and received her DDS degree in 1999.
To further her training as a general dentist, she completed a residency program at Stony Brook University Hospital. Since June of 2000, Dr. Travis has enjoyed practicing all phases of general dentistry in private practice.
Dr. Travis currently resides nearby with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Going to the beach, gardening and attending her childrens sporting events are among her favorite things to do.

Just started bringing my 4 and 6 year old here and it's been a great experience. The doctors and office staff are wonderful. My daughter needed a cavity filled and Dr Travis was excellent with her. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr Travis is Outstanding! She is gentle and very understanding. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and what results you want and need. Her staff is very professional, friendly and caring. I am so happy to have a Great dentist :-)

Dr. Travis is the best dentist I've ever had! I actually look forward to seeing her and her amazing staff. She is kind, compassionate, and truly cares and her office is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Travis for all of your dental needs!

My family and I were looking forward to seeing Dr. Travis and noted her stellar reviews on Google. Unfortunately, we will not be moving forward with appointments. The receptionist, who's name we did not take down, was extremely forgetful when my wife called for an appointment. She had to ask my wife's information multiple times which was already provided and she was down right rude. She asked "What's the number for Delta dental insurance" when earlier my wife told her our insurance provider was a different company. There was little attention to detail during the entire conversation on the receptionists part. Regardless, doesn't the front office deal with these insurance companies on a regular basis and should have insurance company contact information? Later on she asked my wife when she wanted to come in when earlier in the conversation she had already scheduled a time and day with my wife. When my wife politely asked to be transferred to someone else to complete booking her appointment, she (receptionist) said there was nobody else and that she was the only person in the office. She went on a rant saying how busy she was with calls and that the only reason my wife was getting an appointment this week was due to a cancellation, otherwise my wife would have to wait until April...as if she was doing us a favor. My wife and I are both in the customer service business, and have been for many years, and have never encountered such a bad experience for scheduling such a simple appointment. I understand employees can have a bad day, however, there is absolutely no reason to talk to a new patient in a condescending manner. The person in the office who picks up the phone is the company's first point of contact and sets the tone for that office, especially to a new patient. This office just lost business from a family of four. To Dr. Travis.. If your calls are recorded, the call was made at 1:46 p.m. on 2/7/2022.

I have been going to see Dr Lynn Travis for the past 4 years. I have never had such special personalized care from a dentist! Her staff are all caring and Dr Lynn educates her patients in detail any concerns one may have.

Great Dentist! Dr. Travis is brilliant and super compassionate. The offices are new/clean, and her staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Such a breath of fresh air to finally find a dentist that is both knowledgeable and caring, AND has a helpful staff. Highly Recommend!

I've been getting my dental work at Dr. Travis' office for several years now, and hold her in the highest regard. What I like most is that she takes the time to explain the situation, and helps you make an informed decision. Her integrity, and concern for her patients well-being, is evident on every visit.

Dr. Travis is the best dentist I've ever had! I've been to many and always had dentist anxiety as did my daughter until we went to Dr Travis! We actually look forward to seeing her and her hygienist who is extremely gentle and calming! She is very kind and compassionate, and really cares about your needs. I had a bad toothache one weekend she was away and she stayed in touch with me and helped me get through the weekend minimizing my pain and squeezed me in her busy schedule Monday am! Her office is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Travis for all of your dental needs especially if you have any dental anxiety like my daughter and I used to! I'll never go anywhere else!

When we were looking for a new dentist in a new area, we hoped for a friendly staff and clean location. Dr Travis and the hygienists are great. But the receptionist, Sue, is an amazing asset to their business. She is very knowledgeable and explained different insurance options. She expertly handles appointment schedules and actually calls you when a spot opens up. She really came through when my busy ever-changing work schedule got in the way of being able to plan ahead for an appointment. Thank you so much!

Dr. Travis and her staff are so attentive. They made my entire experience better than I imagined possible at the dentist. From the cleaning to cavity fillings they made sure I was comfortable and doing okay! Highly recommend.

Really great dentist and staff and you always get seen on time. There is a hygienist there named Danielle who is GREAT with kids. Turned my son from someone afraid to go to the Dentist into one who can't wait to go back. :)

Dr. Travis is an exceptional dentist. She is a very compassionate and honest dentist who really cares for her patients. She took the time to explain any necessary treatment I needed. Her staff is very friendly, welcoming and they always have a smile on their face. Dr. Travis and her staff make going to the dentist stress free and comforting!
