Hygienists and dentists are awesome. Never had an issuse there, it's the administration staff. Almost every appointment for myself and my son are cancelled. And I'm not talking the day before, but literally an hour before my appointment. Ok I get it, folks get sick and have family emergencies. I do take issues with the fact that when they cancel on you, they can't schedule you till months after you appointment should've been, sometimes the next year. Now if you try to do the same, it's a charge. Also it weren't just a random fluke, I believe they cancelled more appointments for myself and my son than I had there. And the attitude they take is one of, yeah we cancelled on you, so what? That's your problem, were not going to try to work with you too make it right. Also it's been said they love money, yeah I can second that. My son's teeth came in very early, so they started coming out very early. He had two small spots they were "watching", then he missed an appointment due to covid, so it was about 8-9 months till his next appointment, and even getting that appointment was like a miracle. It went from "watching" to two crowns, not fillings, crowns. They were baby teeth. I asked, is that really needed because as you can see, he's losing them quicker and earlier than most kids, so these will probably fall out soon. They insisted he needed them. $450, but at least they were up front about it. My son only had one crown for a month, baby tooth came out. Three months later, there goes the other. Please don't waste your time with these guys, just fine another dentistry!

Never had a problem until the office manager contact me today from the Suffolk office about my daughter's appointment, She was very rude calling herself trying to tell me off about my daughter missing an appointment. She was hollering and I couldn't get a word in so I hung up the phone . When I called back later to file a complaint they said this same lady is in charge of the complaint so mind you how can I file a complaint on the lady that is supposedly the one that takes the complaints nevertheless I talked to her and it went no where. I have never been talked to like that by anyone that supposedly be a professional. She talked to me like I was less than a human. The doctor should listen at the phone call between us and see if it was them on the other end how would he or she would have felt I think all most sure that she the office manager is a person that doesn't like certain race I will leave it at that..God Bless her and please teach her to respect everyone

I don't usually do reviews but I just left a visit with Dr. Smith and Jillian and had to write this. They are so awesome! I went in with what I thought would be a possible crown and a filling replacement. They we able to fix both issues in 15 mins. Dr. Smith filed one tooth and he and Jillian found that there was something stuck between a crown and a tooth beside it to correct the other problem. I was thrilled! Then at checkout Jillian tells me there is no charge for today!!!! I highly recommend LWSS. They're hearts are in the right place and they're excellent at what they do. Also, Dr. Smth did a crown for me a few months back and I've had no problem with the tooth.

Loved this place until now. Great receptionist, horrible Billing associates. They also did not inform us that they would no longer be carrying our Insurance. I only found out when I called to confirm an appointment. Luckily I have secondary insurance but I will no longer use this practice because of the inability to inform their patients on charges in the office. And also because of their billing department for being incompetent which sucks because the dentist and the front desk are awesome.

Staff lies and overcharges for services!!!! First, I would like to say that Dr. Anderson is one of the best dentist I've had, however, the office staff is not! I went into the office for services on 4/19/22 and during my appointment I was told a metal frame would be ordered, however, I wanted acrylic the doctor said that would be perfectly fine. I went to pay for the services and was told by the dental assistant that acrylic was not covered by my plan but the office would leave the charges as is (I felt this was a lie but I had a meeting and needed to leave so I paid and thought I would resolve it later). I called my insurance company the same day and was told that acrylic was in fact covered. I called the office and spoke to the office manager which didn't seem too concerned that her staff flat out told a patient that her office was going to commit insurance fraud. Nonetheless, I was told that correct charges would be submitted to my insurance company and a credit would be issued. On 4/25/22, I called to follow-up because I had not receive notification of a claim from my insurance company. I spoke to Kim in billing and was told that she personal submitted a pre-authorization on 4/19/22 to my insurance company to make sure my credit would be returned by my appointment on 5/3/22. On 4/26/22, I emailed that office manager which first told me that a claim was submitted 4/25/22 but then emailed back saying that Kim was going to submit a pre-authorization. Fast forward to today 5/3/22, I went to my appointment and afterward was told oh you already paid and nothing is due....WAIT WHAT? How about the my credit (I estimate to be about $350)? I was told the office manager was the only person that could help me but she was out of the office. Now, I emailed the manger Donna was told the claim will be submitted and should show up within 7 day. However, no refund will be issued until the claim is paid by my insurance company. This is not the way you conduct business.

I love Dr Anderson, he was so good at keeping me from feeling any pain and he is such a awesome man, I would definitely keep going back to him.

Not to say the same thing everyone else has, but honestly the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at any dentists office, or anywhere for that matter!!! Everyone was so kind and made me feel so comfortable! I'm switching my kids over to LWSS too!! Best dental practice around! Hands down! Make an appointment NOW!!!! :)

My daughter came to get a root canal treatment and dr.Anderson was very nice and funny I recommend this place 10 out of 10 nice staff and the nurse she had was very pretty and sweet

The Suffolk LWSS Office is AWESOME! I can say I honestly love my dentist and that's not how it's always been until I came to LWSS. Everyone that works at LWSS SUFFOLK OFFICE is so nice and caring about all of the patients. LWSS SUFFOLK OFFICE is a great location to come for all dental work you may need!

No issues. Very friendly and sent paperwork in mail ahead of time so that was nice. Plan far in advance due to limited appointments. Dealt with our son and daughter who have special needs very well.
