Michel Raad, DDS, MS, CAGS MSD A doctor of Lebanese descent, Dr. Michel Raad attended a private Jesuit school named Le Collge Notre-Dame de Jamhour in Lebanon. The school was founded by early French Jesuit missionaries. The priests ran and taught at the school, sharing their worldly background and influence, helping generations of Lebanese individuals achieve great things in their lifetime.
As a child, attending Boy Scouts was one of Dr. Raads favorite activities. He also enjoyed spending time in his birth village, tending to olive trees and working the land. Dr. Raad is fluent in French, Arabic and English. After high school, he enrolled in a five-year dental degree program at Saint Joseph University in Lebanon, graduating at 23 years old. Not wanting to settle for what his country provided, Dr. Raad set his sights high on Boston University and applied for one of eight positions available in the prosthodontics program. He knew it was a long shot, but he worked tirelessly during his dental school years to earn a recommendation from the head of the department and former Boston University professor, Dr. Elie Zebouni. While waiting for his acceptance from Boston University, Dr. Raad served in the military as a restorative and surgical general dentist.
Dr. Raad moved to Boston in 2005 for a postgraduate residency in prosthodontics. He maintained a full-time schedule in the clinics while attending didactic classes and doing research assignments. At the end of the three-year program, Dr. Raad was awarded a masters degree for his research work on ceramics and was the first dentist at Boston University to perform computer-assisted implant surgeries. He also completed a Holders Masters degree from the Boston University School of Medicine.
As a prosthodontist, Dr. Raad presented his research results nationally and internationally at the IADR (International Association for Dental Research) and AADR (American Association for Dental Research). He defended his thesis titled, Effect of Formula, Pressing Technique and Location Within the Block on Mechanical Properties of Dental Zirconia and was graded with an A. He also presented his thesis at the IADR Miami and Toronto meetings in 2009 and 2010. He lectured other dentists and prosthodontists during his tenure at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he held the position of professor in the postgraduate prosthodontics program. He is proficient in full-mouth rehabilitations, implant surgeries and all aspects of prosthetic dentistry, including but not limited to bridges, veneers and dentures.
Dr. Raad enjoys motorcycle riding and volunteers his free time working in international missions to bring dental care to impoverished countries. Dr. Raad has exceptional bedside manner, and as a prosthodontist, he has been trained to deliver the highest quality of dental care with attention to detail and aesthetic results.
Zeba Siddiq, DMD Dr. Zeba Siddiq is a general, family and cosmetic dentist. She was born and raised in the Bay Area, where she attended Santa Clara University. Dr. Siddiq is a graduate of Boston University School of Dental Medicine and holds a masters degree from the school of medicine. Dr. Siddiq is an Invisalign treatment certified provider and is experienced with cosmetic restorations. She is very patient with kids and has been trained to treat the anxious child with special techniques assisted by the parents. Dr. Siddiq can take care of the dental needs of the entire family. She listens carefully to the concerns of her patients and makes sure all of their needs are addressed professionally. Dr. Siddiq speaks Farsi fluently.

In order to become a prosthodontist, three additional years of training at an ADA-accredited graduate program after completing regular dental school are required. There are only ten dental specialties that have been recognized by the ADA National Commission on the Recognition of Dental Special Specialties and prosthodontics is one of them. The extended training to specialize in this field focuses on several areas of restorative dentistry including dental implants, crowns, bridges, complete and partial dentures, aesthetics, occlusions, and facial and dental birth development defects.
The ADA give the definition of prosthodontics as the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance and the health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes. This means that they help people who have missing, damaged or irregular teeth to restore their smile to the look, function and health that they desire, often using dental prosthetics.
Your prosthodontist can help you with restoring missing or damaged teeth, but that is not all they do. They also frequently take leadership of a team of general dentists and specialists to effectively plan and guide your treatment. This is especially important when your dental needs are complex. Our own Dr. Michel Raad is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). With the help of our prosthodontist, you can better understand your options for treatment, whether you need fixed, removable or implant-supported prosthetics, as well as the advantages, disadvantages, prognosis, risks and time involved in that treatment.
When we talk about wisdom teeth, what we are talking about are your third molars, which are most often the last teeth to erupt, typically while patients are between the ages of 17 and 25. Because it is no longer common for patients to lose their adult teeth before their wisdom teeth erupt, there is often not enough room for these teeth to grow in as they should. I've gone a few times and it's probably the best place I've gone to! I'm usually terrified of the dentist and they go through everything with you. During treatment, Dr. Raad asks if anything being done hurts, before and after treatment his wife checks up on you too. Honestly, I don't mind the long drive because it is worth it considering how nice they are, how much insight they give you about your teeth, and how much they are willing to work with you. Would recommend anyone to come.

I love Dr Raad & Dr. Zeba their office is sooo nice and fancy they usually work with 1 patient at a time which is great they are super nice and caring and explain everything. Zeba even tries to work with you on prices. My son has also had great experiences here has never cried or felt scared. Their dental assistant was very nice as well. I highly recommend this office!

I had visited Dr. Raad's website in the middle of the night at work to schedule a new patient appointment and was called back very promptly within a few hours. To my surprise, Dr. Raad even saw me that very same day, a Sunday, because he happened to be in the office. I'm a former dentist myself, so I'm very particular when it comes to dentists and the treatment they provide. Dr. Raad and his assistant were both extremely professional and courteous. They took the time to get to know my dental/medical history and personal history. I was having issues with a bridge I had gotten placed by another dental office, and Dr Raad was very thorough in his exam and offering me a treatment plan. Unlike many other dentists, he did not take my case as an opportunity to make a large pay day and tell me that I'll need a new bridge etc. He offered me minimally extensive and minimally expensive treatment options. The receptionist was very upfront about my insurance coverage and any costs that I may or may not incur, and kept their word. I'm highly satisfied and impressed with Dr. Raad, will certainly be returning as a regular client. Again as a former dentist, I would recommend him to all.

Wow I just completed a dental implant with Dr. Raad and my results are more than what I could ask for. I literally took one Advil after my dental implant surgery and did not need any pain medication after it. I was back at work the next day to my surprise feeling fine. The final crown was recently placed and it looks exactly like my other teeth. I can't even tell the difference when looking in the mirror. Dr. Siddiq will be seeing me for my regular checkups and dental cleanings. Best and most honest dentists in San Ramon Danville

On a Friday night I fainted and fell onto my face...badly chipping my two front teeth. The next day I was scrambling trying to find an emergency dentist. Zeba was the only one to answer the phone. She was so helpful and had me come in to be seen an hour later. She and Dr. Raad came in to work on New Years Day just to help me, someone they didn't even know. I am so grateful to these two for their selflessness, honesty and kindness. This emergency guided me to my new general dentist! I cannot recommend them enough.

This was by far the best dental experience. I recently moved to the Bay Area from Chicago and had a dental emergency (my crown popped off). I did not have a local dentist yet, so this was my first time at Luxor Dental. Dr. Siddiq and Dr. Raad were extremely accommodating on a Saturday and seamlessly replaced the crown. The whole process (including x-rays and numbing) was faster than expected...with almost no pain! I also have a really bad case of TMJ so dental visits are usually tough on me, but they were really gentle and even gave me some helpful tips on managing my TMJ. Dr. Raad and Dr. Siddiq are both very knowledgeable and take the time to explain the issue and talk through options. They also maintain a clean, sterile environment which felt very safe during these uncertain times. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The service here is great!!! My best experience here is they dont up sale their service, unlike other Dental that always keep asking you to add services aside from the one you really concern you at the moment. Dr. Siddig and Dr. Raad genuinely friendly, accommodating, and talented. I did need and emergency because of my wisdom tooth. All I can say is they are so gentle while doing the surgery on me. I've had a very positive experience with Luxor Dental! I recently had severe tooth pain requiring root canal. I have a bit of dental anxiety and was not looking forward to the procedure. I must say, both Dr. Raad and Dr. Siddiq fixed my tooth and alleviated the pain, and were also kind and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. One of the reasons I left my last dentist was because I could never get in touch or make an appointment. With Luxor Dental, they've been able to provide prompt and flexible times for me to make an appointment. The thing I appreciate most is that the procedure was easier than I thought it was going to be and the skill level of the doctors. they've been able to answer all of my questions including future treatments and what to know about jaw pain and TMJ. I'm really impressed with both doctors and feel very comfortable with Luxor for my dental care. I highly recommend Dr. Raad and Dr. Siddiq.
