Erin L. Cohen, DDS is the founder of Lux Orthodontics. A second generation dentist, she grew up understanding the importance of overall dental health and the power of a bright and beautiful smile. After receiving her education at Cornell University and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, she completed her residency in orthodontics at the University of California, Los Angeles before entering private practice.
As a Diamond Plus Invisalign provider, Dr. Cohen has treated thousands of patients within Los Angeles and beyond, and continues to be the first to personally greet patients at the door. Her empathetic, thorough and warm attitude ensures that your time in the office is both productive and positive. Cutting edge technology enables her to thoroughly diagnose, treat and manage care, both in person and virtually.
In her personal time, Dr. Cohen is happy exploring new recipes, studying Italian, reading novels with her daughters or going for a run. Traveling is truly the highlight of each year. Some of her favorite destinations include Ireland, Costa Rica, Italy and Moorea. Beyond her profession and her hobbies, Dr. Cohen finds true joy in building relationships with the people around her: her college sweetheart and husband Dr. Scott Cohen (founder of Beverly Hills Pediatrics), her friends and family, and the patients who feel like family.

My daughter received treatment from Dr Cohen & her awesome team over several years starting from wearing expanders to Invisalign sets. I cannot recommend this practice enough. Dr Cohen's skills are top notch but what makes this practice stand out is how seamlessly this practice is run. It has a very boutique practice feel - small, peaceful & welcoming. We never felt rushed, confused or marketed to. Every question we had was carefully explained and we really felt confident that we were receiving the very best care at all times. I highly recommend this practice for your orthodontics needs.

Dr. Cohen was the only orthodontist that was able to take me on as a new patient during the Covid shutdown in 2020. She was caring, informational, responsive, and honest with the length of time for my treatment. I knew I could trust her. Once I began, I would have visits with her and her team monthly. The office is in Beverly Hills with a beautiful view of LA. The team was always positive and pleasant. Dr. Cohen always talked things through with me. She took her work very seriously. After 18 months, I completed my treatment, and I couldn't be happier with my smile. Thank you to Dr. Cohen and her team for an awesome experience at Lux Orthodontics.

Best Orthodontist ever!! I had braces when I was younger only leaving me with a nasty cross-bite. Dr Erin Cohen took one look at my teeth and knew how to fix the problem immediately. Love her and her team!

I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Erin Cohen. She is very enthusiastic and passionate about her work, which shows based on my outstanding orthodontic results. She's great at building rapport and she seems very confident in her ability to give the best results for her clients. Dr. Cohen's staff is super friendly and everyone seems to get along quite well, creating a nice, soothing environment in her aesthetic office with panoramic views of the surrounding city and mountains. As the five stars indicate, I highly recommend Dr. Cohen!

I would give Dr Cohen 100 stars if I could. She is the best orthodontist anyone could ever ask for. She is knowledgeable, reliable and cares deeply for her patients. She always explains complex medical condition to me using the most understandable term. And her attention to detail takes thoroughness to a new level. I don't live in Los Angeles and Dr Cohen makes extra effort to accommodate my schedule. Her office staff is really awesome too! The lovely staff are professional and responsible. I really appreciate everything Dr Cohen and her team has done for me and I cannot be more satisfied with my results!

Dr. Erin Cohen and her staff are so welcoming, professional., and friendly! I have been using Dr. Cohen's services for over ten years for both of my daughters as well as myself! She is an extremely skilled orthodontist who loves her work and never pushes services that are not necessary! She is able to accommodate and understand each patient as a whole! The LUX team are some of the best orthodontic team you could ask for. Extremely friendly and open with their patients. I've been a patient of Erin for a few years now and have only seen my dental health and confidence improve tenfold through her guidance and recommendations on the orthodontics side and in her work connecting with my dentist and others. And their new office is the cutest. Highly recommend for anyone considering Invisalign or looking for general consultation.

I waited until I was 50 years old to get orthodontics done simply because I did not want to wear braces. I was advised to check out Dr. Erin Cohen and it was the best move of my life. She walked me through the entire process and I agreed to go with her as my Dr. Professional is the only word that describes her. Her smile welcomed me every time I went in for my visit and she was very patient and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and happy. I am just not happy that there are only 5 stars here because Dr. Erin Cohen deserves pages of them for how happy she has made me with the way my teeth are.

Lux Orthodontics and Dr. Erin Cohen are the best of the best. Dr. Cohen is knowledgeable, straightforward, and compassionate. She made me and my kids feel completely at ease the moment we walked into her office. By the end of our first consultation, she already had a good read on their individual personalities and customized her strategy based on what she thought would suit each one best. She gave us options on treatment plans, explained everything patiently and thoroughly, and answered all our questions. Both kids went from a deep fear of "the orthodontist" to happily anticipating visits with Dr. Cohen. We love Lux Orthodontics and couldn't be happier with our brand new smiles.

After such a difficult year what an incredible feeling to finally have a wonderful experience at Lux Orthodontics! Dr. Cohen and her amazing staff treated me with so much kindness, were prompt and on time and took all safety precautions necessary during these times. I will be starting my boys and me ASAP! Dr Cohen and her staff are outstanding!! The staff is attentive, friendly, and competent- you don't find that too often. Dr Cohen is knowledgeable and made my teenage son feel at ease. He was nervous for the Invisalign process but once Dr Cohen explained everything and set realistic expectations, he was relieved and has been doing great from the start of his treatment. Her follow through and accessibility when questions arise are also unmatched. We adore Dr Cohen and her office. I highly recommend her for adult and children!!!
