Dr. Lusk is an Idaho native who studied general dentistry at Creighton University, where he graduated with his DDS in 1995. Since founding Lusk Family Dentistry, he has emphasized the importance of continuing education, encouraging his staff to further their knowledge and skills as he does the same, so that they can provide patients the best dental services available.
Dr. Lusk is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New Mexico Dental Association. He has also received advanced training from and is a graduate of the Dawson Academy.
When he is not providing care to patients, Dr. Lusk can be found spending time with his wife and six children. He appreciates all of the outdoor activities New Mexico has to offer, including hunting, hiking, skiing, and riding horses.
Suzanne has lived in the Four Corners area her entire life. A staff member for Dr. Lusk for15 years, Suzanne is a New Mexico Board Certified Dental Assistant and is also Radiography certified. Suzanne enjoys giving back to the community and is an active supporter of the American Cancer Society. Suzanne is a very important part of our team. She is loved by all of our patients and can help them with all their questions.
In her free time, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband offourteenyears, playing with her two little puppy dogs,camping, enjoying the great outdoors, vacationing, crafting,reading, and playing the piano.
Rachel Bartley, registered dental hygienist, graduated from San Juan College and was the Dental Hygiene Class of 2015 salutatorian. Fairly new to Lusk Family Dental, she loves the people she works with and derives a lot of satisfaction from getting to know her patients and helping them improve their oral health. Originally from Bloomfield, New Mexico, Rachel calls her family her number one priority and loves nothing more than spending her free time with her husband of 19 years and their three children. They enjoy watching movies, hiking, camping, and reading together.

I have never had a bad experience at Lusk Family Dentistry. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Lusk is a very honest dentist. I have been to other dentist offices where I have felt very judged and embarrassed. I have never felt that here. Very welcoming and friendly environment.

We love Dr Lusk, Gwen, Rachel, Suzanne and all of the staff at Lusk Family Dentistry. I highly recommend Dr Lusk for his positive attitude , and always being so professional in all that he does. He has been our dentist , going on 20 years . I highly recommend him and his awesome team. I look forward to my cleanings and getting to chat with the staff.

Beware. Make sure they break down the cost with you of everything they are going to charge you. Not after the fact. Simple cleaning. Turned into three different things costing over 300 dollars. My dental assistant and dentist experience was great. Just how they handled the insurance ordeal then tell me it's not our responsibility. I'm pretty sure when a potential customer asks if you take their insurance. You would check to make sure that they in fact have coverage for your business. Hmmmmmm???!!!

Suzanne is always there greet me with a smile and a happy face. Rachel is the only hygienist that my 7 year old will allow to clean her teeth. Dr. Lusk is always willing to fit me in when I have an emergency. It's a great office.

The only positive thing I have to say about Lusk Family Dentistry is that that the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Lusk, on the other hand is very disingenuous in my opinion. The day of my appointment to get some planned work done I was informed that my insurance may not cover the work and I risked paying the full amount of the work. I was in his office two weeks earlier and could have been warned of this then. Furthermore, the work I needed done is covered by my insurance and I believe he knew this but was trying to pressure me into a more expensive and invasive treatment than what I wanted.

I have been taking my family to Lusk Family Dentistry for over 15 years. The entire staff is so friendly and have taught my kids to be excited about taking care of their teeth. They love coming to get their teeth cleaned. Dr. Lusk has taken care of us from routine check ups to wisdom teeth. I would highly recommend Dr. Lusk, Gwen, Rachel, and Suzanne to anyone looking for a friendly, honest dental office!

The entire staff at Lusk Family Dentistry is absolutely amazing! Suzanne's welcoming smile and cheerful attitude, Rachel's positive encouragement and happy disposition, Dr. Lusk's warm and caring mannerisms always make me feel like I'm somewhere other than a dental appointment. I recommend this office every chance I get.

Rachel my hygienist is just amazing. She is always so sweet and she does a really good job on my teeth. Dr Lusk is funny and when your at the dentist he always makes me feel at ease. I definitely recommend them!!

My family started going to Dr. Lusk because my neighbor said he was very handsome. I stayed because i love the place. Dr. Lusk is great over all and he is very understanding about my needle issue. That is like him and the staff... always going the extra mile. 16 years later they feel like family. I couldn't be happier. BTW, he is still handsome. But you'll stay because of the great people. Trust me. Give his office a call.

The best experience I've ever had from any dental experience. The Staff is wonderful, definitely made me feel like I've been going there for years !
