Dr. Lurie attended Duke University, where he earned a double degree in Chemistry and Psychology. In 1992, he graduated from Temple UniversitySchool of Dentistry, one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for over 25years and has completed countless post graduatecourses in all fields of dentistry including dental implants, cosmetic reconstruction, periodontics, and computer aided restorations (i.e. CEREC).
His emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Lurie has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal therapy.
His approach to the first visit begins with compassionately listening to any concerns or questions patientsmight have. Then, after a thorough and complete examinations, he will review and discuss the diagnosis and any and all treatment options available. It is especially important for patients to keep Dr. Lurieinformed and up-to-date about the health of their smiles.
As a husband and father, I feel a sense of responsibility to treat you and your family as I treat my own. Whether your mouth is healthy and clean and requires minimal routine care to maintain, or you believe you have problems that seem too overwhelming to overcome, I am here to help you. If you are told you have cavities by Dr. Lurie you better have second opinion. My family was looking for a new dentist and found him. We went to see him in different days and we were told we all have one or two cavities. I didn't trust him since we rarely had cavity so we went to see different dentist and found out none of us had cavity. He is a very dishonest dentist. Watch out! This is in response (and final response) to Dr. Lurie's reply: My family went to Dr. Lurie's practice more than a year ago. After we left his practice we had 2 cleanings and checkups done. We didn't have any cavities or any problems with our teeth. BTW, he never told anyone of us which teeth had cavities as he was doing the exams. He never showed us any X-ray and pointed out where the cavity was.

Unethical! Called this office for an office visit because husband had too pain and receptionist was rude loud and obnoxious. She said she would NOT make an appointment for my husband because he missed appointments (during covid times) all of which he answered and said he couldn't make it. She denied care because we did not feel comfortable leaving a credit card on file! Mind you ... no bills were over due and no payments were due. I don't think that's a reason to deny care ! But I will definitely look into it. Waiting for a call back from the doctor! I will update you all on results. All these other reviews have to be a joke

I would highly recommend Dr. Lurie especially to any patients that are anxious about seeing the dentist. I was in the chair for about 50 minutes or say and I never been so relaxed and calm. Dr. Lurie takes his time and explains everything before he begins. It was a pleasant experience.

Dr. Lurie and his dental team changed the life of my teeth! I've had some pretty tough dental experiences and also I'm extremely high maintenance with gagging and major dental anxiousness. Dr. Lurie sat down with me and looked at my teeth, explained what he was going to do, and fixed my teeth and have kept my teeth in perfect condition. His focus is on prevention not replacement and I really appreciate it! My teeth have never been so clean with Marit's cleaning expertise and Dawn keeps me organized with my appointments and billing. Thank you very much Dr. Lurie and team! I highly recommend you to everyone.

His assistant Regina is always smiling and putting you at ease. Whitney the hygienist will leave no plaque behind for the whitest smile. Dawn mans the office with pleasant greetings, scheduling appointments and handling insurance. They personalize your experience..you won't be disappointed.

Dr Lurie is the best. He takes his time to explain everything and I never feel rushed. I sense Dr Lurie is a perfectionist who takes great pride in his work, so he is very thorough. He has called me personally to follow up after a recent issue. He always calls my orthodontist and surgeon before visits to go over my history. Age and genetics have caught up to me, and it's comforting to know Im in great hands. I rarely write reviews but I feel it's important to put it out there since I know how hard it is to find a good dentist. By the way, the best staff ever!

Dr. Lurie and Dawn both made my bad day better and usually going to the dentist doesn't do that, but they both were so kind, caring and made me laugh and smile; that it helped me forget all about the bad day I was having before I came in. On top of that they made sure I was comfortable the entire time and were just so pleasant and professional. I recommend them to anyone as they truly care about their patients and go the extra mile! 5 stars isn't enough!
