Welcome to Luna Dentures and General Dentistry, the general dental practice of Dr. Nga Nguyen our dental office serves the Rock Hill area along with the surrounding communities. We feature quality dentures to meet the needs of our patients who are not happy with their smile. Just because you have dentures, does not mean that you have to have a compromised smile! We focus on both function and esthetics in the creation of your dentures so that you can enjoy the delicious foods in addition to smiling confidently.

We believe that in order to make patients feel as comfortable as possible, they should get to know the team that's going to be behind their treatment. As a team, we understand the fear that comes along with dental visits. We want our patients to walk into a judgment-free zone. We want to break barriers between our team and patients so we can have an open conversation. Our team as a whole believes in conservative dentistry. We will only offer treatment options that are we believe are going to be a necessity. We don't want anyone to feel as if they are being pressured into treatment that they don't absolutely need. We want to be as transparent as possible, so feel free to ask us any questions!
Dr. Nga Nguyen was born and raised in Amelia, LA. She graduated from the Southern University of New Orleans with a Bachelors in Biological Science. She completed her DMD in 2009 at the School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. While in College, Dr. Nguyen was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and was voted Most Likely to Work in Public Health by faculty. Her interest in becoming a dentist flourished while watching Oprah as a child a less than fortunate patient was overtaken by emotion at their brand new smile which inspired Dr. Nguyens calling to bring that much joy and emotion to peoples lives as well. For almost ten years, She worked in community health centers to transform smiles of those who would otherwise be looked down upon. She then decided to open her own practice to continue to make an impact on countless patients lives. Dr. Nguyen has a passion for providing the best dental care possible and in doing so she constantly seeks out ways to further her education and to keep up to date on the newest technology for the office.
When Dr. Nguyen is not transforming the lives of her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband Vinh and their beautiful daughter Audrey. As a family, they enjoy cooking and venturing to new restaurants together. If shes not at the park playing with Audrey, Dr. Nguyen enjoys winding down with yoga and spending time outdoors.
Vinh was born and raised in New Orleans, LA . He graduated with an Associates in Drafting and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. He worked at several engineering companies before realizing his true passion is people. His heart bleeds southern hospitality. He would love to go above and beyond to please anyone within reason. Also after working in customer service for many years, he is new to the dental scene and have taken on challenges of in house I.T. and managing the front office.
Vinh loves technology and love to experience new challenges first hand. Graphic Design will always will be in an inspiration to him and he would like to try many other design aspects. His new hobby for home improvement projects has been keeping him busy. He cannot wait to find free time to tackle other new D.I.Y. If not creating, Vinh loves to work out and running indoor and outdoors. Like Dr Nguyen, Vinh enjoys spending time with his family. Whether it is spending time on road trips or short trips to the grocery store, being together with his family is very important to him.
Maegan is 24 years old and has been a dental assistant for a little over a year. She was blessed enough to be raised on the island of Ohau, Hawaii but was actually born in Staten Island, New York into a beautiful Puerto Rican family.
Maegan chose to become a dental assistant because she wanted to help as many people as she could. She was a patient that had an irrational fear of dentist but quickly figured out the importance that your oral health plays in your overall health. Dental assistants are usually the first person you see after the receptionist. She believes that if she can make a patient more relaxed and comfortable then their fear of dental offices will diminish.

Believe the good reviews! They were very pleasant to work with. They really worked with me on getting my my dentures through my insurance company quickly as I was losing my insurance due to a layoff. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Dr.Nguyen and her staff have been an answer to my prayers. They are absolutely amazing, professional, while also super compassionate about YOUR desired outcome....I've sat thru 2 intensive procedures with her, already and she makes it more comfortable than I could have ever imagined. BEST dental experience EVER!!

Dr. Nguyen and staff are incredibly easy to work with. My husband had a full upper & partial lower denture that was in need of repair/replacement. The process was quick & comfortable. We would recommend Luna Dentures & General Dentistry to all our friends and family.

the biggest praise i could give Luna Dentures is that i'm not scared to go to the dentist anymore :) no more anxiety attacks and upset stomachs every visit ! a very friendly environment and everyone is considerate, highly recommended especially if u hate the dentist

This is the best dental office I've ever been to. They have a small, tight-knitted team that work really well together to give you the best care! Dr. Nguyen is so sweet and knowledgeable. Super competent i trust her with my dental health and cosmetic botox! Maegan their dental assistant is so cool and easy going, she tells you how it is too! They have a next level dental membership too if you don't have insurance. It's a beautiful office & a comfortable environment! I cannot say enough great things about Luna Dentistry. I was comfortable from the minute I walked in. They're very warm and inviting and the atmosphere just feels happy and clean in there which was a big thing for me. And it couldn't have been easier, I got a partial and all I had to do was go to the consultation, go and get my impressions made the next day, and one week later my parcel was in. They gave me my confidence back and I had a great time while I was there with them. They really make you feel like you're at home and they really take care of you, and the work and the way they explain everything to you, I couldn't ask for more. 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend this place to any and everyone. And they do more than just dentures, they do everything. Thank you all for giving me my smile back and my confidence back

So i came in today to have my teeth pulled. After telling the dental assistant that i wasnt comfortable having 25 teeth pulled and leaving with a prescription for ibuprofen that i decided i wanted a refund. While speaking to the dentist the assistant got on ger cell phone called the police while running out tge door screaming on the phone that she felt threatened and her life was in danger!!! What a liar she is!!!! I never raised my voice as a matter of fact im actually horse and cant hardly talk and have been that way for the last 2 days lol. The police show up and she is walking around in the dentist office crying like someone in her family just died!!! The owner was chasing her out the door telling her no to stop but she ran from her and continued to proceed with her call. This is very unprofessional and then to have the police come in and get my id to run me in like im some villain was very disrespectful and humiliating. I would not recommend this office to anyone unless being humiliated and lied to about to the police is what you are looking for!!! By the way i didnt get in trouble because i did nothing and im now waiting in the parking lot for the husband to get back with a check for my refund. This was completely uncalled for and unnecessary!!! The idea of the lies and her lying to the police claiming i was cussing her out is absolutely ridiculous!!!! I will be pursuing this matter legally for the humiliation and false claims to the RHPD. I also have the video of her in the parking lot acting like a 6 year old kid. I still cant believe that she falsely accused me. Now 20 minutes later while im waiting on my check her mom i guess shows up and she comes out the office still crying. This dental assistant is a lunatic with severe mental issues that seriously need to be addressed!!! She should have been terminated on the spot!!!

This is my first time going to the dentist out here in the south, im from the north. & honestly the doctor and her staff were super sweet and gentle! Ive had bad experiences in the past w/ dentist, so im not too fond of them but i will be coming back here for sure! If you're looking for a dentist in the Charlotte/rockhill/fortmill area, i definitely recommend this one!
