We want to break barriers between our team and patients so we can have an open conversation. Our team as a whole believes in conservative dentistry. We will only offer treatment options that are we believe are going to be a necessity. We don't want anyone to feel as if they are being pressured into treatment that they don't absolutely need. Dr. Nga Nguyen was born and raised in Amelia, LA. She graduated from the Southern University of New Orleans with a Bachelors in Biological Science. She completed her DMD in 2009 at the School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. While in College, Dr. Nguyen was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and was voted Most Likely to Work in Public Health by faculty. Her interest in becoming a dentist flourished while watching Oprah as a child a less than fortunate patient was overtaken by emotion at their brand new smile which inspired Dr. Nguyens calling to bring that much joy and emotion to peoples lives as well. For almost ten years, She worked in community health centers to transform smiles of those who would otherwise be looked down upon. She then decided to open her own practice to continue to make an impact on countless patients lives. Dr. Nguyen has a passion for providing the best dental care possible and in doing so she constantly seeks out ways to further her education and to keep up to date on the newest technology for the office.
When Dr. Nguyen is not transforming the lives of her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband Vinh and their beautiful daughter Audrey. As a family, they enjoy cooking and venturing to new restaurants together. If shes not at the park playing with Audrey, Dr. Nguyen enjoys winding down with yoga and spending time outdoors.
Vinh was born and raised in New Orleans, LA . He graduated with an Associates in Drafting and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. He worked at several engineering companies before realizing his true passion is people. His heart bleeds southern hospitality. He would love to go above and beyond to please anyone within reason. Also after working in customer service for many years, he is new to the dental scene and have taken on challenges of in house I.T. and managing the front office.
Vinh loves technology and love to experience new challenges first hand. Graphic Design will always will be in an inspiration to him and he would like to try many other design aspects. His new hobby for home improvement projects has been keeping him busy. He cannot wait to find free time to tackle other new D.I.Y. If not creating, Vinh loves to work out and running indoor and outdoors. Like Dr Nguyen, Vinh enjoys spending time with his family. Whether it is spending time on road trips or short trips to the grocery store, being together with his family is very important to him.
Maegan is 24 years old and has been a dental assistant for a little over a year. She was blessed enough to be raised on the island of Ohau, Hawaii but was actually born in Staten Island, New York into a beautiful Puerto Rican family.
Maegan chose to become a dental assistant because she wanted to help as many people as she could. She was a patient that had an irrational fear of dentist but quickly figured out the importance that your oral health plays in your overall health. Dental assistants are usually the first person you see after the receptionist. She believes that if she can make a patient more relaxed and comfortable then their fear of dental offices will diminish.
