Dr. Luke Morgan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland in 2004. In 2000 Dr. Morgan graduated from Goucher College where he received a Bachelors Degree in Biology with Chemistry. After dental school, Dr. Morgan completed a residency program in general dentistry at the Washington, D.C. Veterans Administration Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center Oral Surgery Department.
During his residency, and while in dental school, Dr. Luke Morgan worked with special needs patients and addressed their unique dental situations. Dr. Morgan held several leadership roles, including President of the American Student Dental Association, University of Maryland chapter. Dr. Morgan also served as the student member on the Maryland State Dental Association Board of Trustees. At the 2005 DC Dental Society Meeting Dr. Morgan presented a research project dealing with the dental treatment of sleep apnea.
Dr. Luke Morgan is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association and the Patuxent Dental Society. Dr. Morgan is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Emberland received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland in 1987 and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in 1982. After dental school, Dr. Emberland continued her training in general dentistry by completing a residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore and a fellowship at The John Hopkins University Hospital.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Emberland was a clinical instructor at The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in the Special Patient Clinic. She then entered private practice in Anne Arundle and Calvert counties prior to joining Dr. Morgan and Associates in 1995.

I am a new patient, this place is so awesome, they are so polite and friendly they make you feel so comfortable and they are fast getting things done, if they had 10 * I would pick every one of them, I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. Thank you for taking of me.

Was referred by a friend to see this Dentist. I called to try to set up an appointment and a female receptionist answered the call. She was snobby, stuck up (like she's above everyone else) & rude. My husband was standing beside me while I had her on speaker phone... I said, "Hello I was referred by a friend to see this dentist so I'd like to try to make an appointment to be seen", her reply was "No, we are only making emergency appointments right now, are you a current patient??" (She asked me that 2 or 3 times AFTER I told her I was recommended by a friend to go there) and her tone was so aggressive & mean. I said, "I would think it would be considered an emergency I'm pregnant and my whole bottom jaw/gums are infected".... then she says, "Well do you have any insurance to be worked with??" I said "Yes, MD Physicians Care" she was happy to cut me off with a "We don't accept that insurance for adults..." I said "Well then never mind thanks & hung up." My husband yanked my phone from me to do this review because that receptionist DOESNT DESERVE HER JOB and is going to ruin any good reputation that Dentist has made for himself! All that rudeness was sooo uncalled for. If you can't treat other nicely you shouldn't be working in the dentistry field (patients seek comfort, soft gentle people who make them not tense or scared). I would never recommend this place to anyone else in the future and if anyone speaks of this dentist they are going to get an ear full of my husband & I's experience with that office.

I called the office at 8:00am, describing pain and swelling in my mouth. I was told to come in at 9:30, and they would fit me in. I was seen as soon as I arrived. They took exrays, did an examination and referred me to an oral surgeon, whom they called and I was able to go directly to that office for emergency tooth extraction! The doctors, Parker and Gilley, were wonderful. And the staff, equally so. I am so grateful for the time and attention they gave to me! .

Love Dr Luke Morgan and his office staff. I have been a patient here for a little over 15 years and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I hardly ever wait at my appt times and get fit in right away when I have a problem. The staff goes above and beyond. Would recommend Dr Luke Morgan to anyone.

I went to Dr. Morgan's office as a child and now I choose to go as an adult. Their staff and doctors are professional, efficient and very friendly. The comfortable atmosphere and convenient location makes this dentist's office an easy choice for the whole family. And offering weekend on-call services in cases of emergencies provides a feeling of reassurance that makes me glad to call this my dentist's practice!

I had a filling fall out of the side of one of my back teeth. It was the second time another dentist had attempted to fill the cavity. It had been sensitive for quite some time. I switched to Doctor Morgan who filled the cavity for the third time. It has been over six months and there have been no problems or sensitivity with the tooth.
