Dr. Derek Williams is very excited to be in Lufkin and honored with the privilege of carrying on Dr. Bates legacy in caring for his patients. Dr. Williams is originally from Utah. He moved his family to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University Dental School. He devoted himself to learning the foundational principles of dentistry. After searching far and wide, he and his wife have decided to settle in the family friendly city of Lufkin, TX.
Dr. Williams spends a considerable amount of time each year learning the latest techniques developed in dentistry in order to provide the highest quality of care. He is an avid learner and sincerely enjoys the relationships he builds with patients.
He and his wife Jenny have been married for 10 years and have five children: Ashlyn, Brinley, Claire, Desiree, and Emmett. Dr. William's latest running joke is that he only really wanted a son, but it took 5 tries to get one. He loves his family more than anything in the world and spends all his free time with them.

This is the Best Dental office!! The whole office made me comfortable and I felt at ease upon arrival to office. This is the best experience I've ever had at a dental office. If you are looking for someone to take care of you and your family and friends, this is where you need to go. You won't be disappointed with the service you will receive there.

The best experience ever!!! Would off gave six stars if I could... Doctor was nice and meek and worked out a plan with me. First day they took all my ex-rays... And they work with my insurance!!!

Clean & Tidy place, I would definitely recommend the clinic for any dental services. I visited for the first time and experienced a friendly atmosphere. The staff and Dr. William was so professional and kind. I've been thru root canal treatment and I'm happy to be part of Lufkin Dental Family

Lufkin Family Dental is wonderful! My hygienist Megan is great and makes the Expedia's enjoyable as a dentist visit can be! The office staff and Dr Williams have always been very nice and personable as well :)

We were hesitant as we have a different insurance that our regular dentist doesn't take, so we were forced to find a new office. I am pleased we landed where we did. My daughter had a great experience at Lufkin Family Dental. The staff was kind and helpful. My daughter loved that they had blankets available for patients during their visit and "Momma there is a tv on the roof!" was a hit too. We will be back.

L.F.D. Is wonderful, I have finally found a Dentist & staff that are a perfect match. Kind, friendly, & knowledgeable. They took care of all my insurance filing. I felt so comfortable. Dr Williams explained all my options, (which is a very complicated case) so I can make an informed decision. I would give more stars if their were more to give!
