Wife and I have been going to Dr. Foster and his office for a few years now. He is a great dentist and his assistants are top rate. When you get your teeth cleaned there - you know they are clean!

I called to simply to ask a few questions about Medicaid and if they accepted it or not, and was promptly met with, "We do, but we can't do anything for you. We aren't accepting new patients and we are booked out until September." The woman on the phone was very rude and cold when I proceeded to tell her that over the weekend I was in the ER with a toothache, which ended up being an abscess, that also ended up rupturing at home. She then rudely explained to me that the dentist would only be able to pull my tooth, when in reality I just need a root canal. Even if this office ended up having an emergency opening, I would turn it down, mainly because of how rudely I was treated.

Front receptionist or the ones answering phone call is not very nice. Very rude behavior.

Walked in off the street with an emergency. Assistant treated me with respect and compassion. Dr Foster interrupted his obviously busy schedule and attended to my situation. Charged me very fairly . The following day the office called me to check up on my situation. This practice is the model all should follow.

Thank you to the entire team, Great Dentist, Hygenists, Assistance, as well as the folks at the front Desk. You have always taken great care of all of the family's dental needs and it's very much appreciated, we are fortunate to have you here.

Have had plenty of work done by Dr. Foster. No issues, no problems. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I hate to pile on with a bad review. But an office "Temp" gave me the wrong info and wasted my time. Caused me to skip a family reunion to meet an available appt. time. You don't want to be rude and say to the office staff "do you know what you are doing? Can I rely on you? Is this your regular job?". The notion that "Temps" don't need training is a fallacy.

Needed some big time dental work done and chose to visit this dentist. Best decision I could have made. Great attention to detail, and best practice standards in place, which means you get professional care and advice. Good prices, sliding scale for payment. Owned by Springfield Hospital. Safe bet if you want pro results.

Dr Michael Foster is the best! I am 67 years old and have Medicare and Medicaid. It is very hard to find a Dentist who will accept new adult Medicaid patients and Ludlow Dental Center was the answer for me! I had a painful, wobbly tooth but my old Dentist simply refuses to pull teeth and insists on referring you to an Oral Surgeon. Dr Foster took me in quickly because I was in pain, accepted Medicaid and agreed to pull the tooth. The day after I made my appointment the tooth actually broke off by itself, but Dr. Foster got the remnant of the tooth out with little trouble, even though it was a tricky extraction. He was very personable and professional, which is a great combination. I would not hesitate to recommend Ludlow Dental Center and would use them again in a heartbeat. Whether you are on Medicaid or self-paying, he is one of the most competent Dentists you will find.

I've been coming here for five years. The dentist himself is alright, and his assistants do care. But recently they hired a new receptionist who makes the experience awful. She argues on the phone about making appointments, and today when I arrived for my appointment I had to listen to her talk behind the glass about how she almost took my appointment off the schedule. My appointment was supposed to start twenty minutes ago and in this time I've had the misfortune of being stuck listening to this new receptionist swear and gossip loudly through the glass.
