Dan was born in Coldwater, Michigan. At Michigan State University, he played trumpet in the Spartan marching band and high jumped on the varsity track team, at one point owning the indoor high jump record at 7 ft. 1/4 inches. (Hes tall.)
Kelly was born in Detroit, attended MSU for three years and majored in microbiology, which made sense at the time but in reality couldnt have been more ridiculous. She and Dan met at the University of Detroit Dental School, graduated in 1983 and 1984 respectively, and were married soon after. They practiced one year in Kalamazoo before heading west to Idaho, where they lived, skied, and ate potatoes for three years before moving to Ludington.
Drs. King and Aloe are both American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association members. Dr. King is the current peer review chairperson of the Manistee-Mason District Dental Society, and Dr. Aloe is the current president; voted in unanimously by her peers. Needless to say, they are a highly intelligent bunch.
Eric was raised in Ludington. After graduating from LHS in 2008, he attended Michigan State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Entomology. In 2016, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Dental School.
