Dr. Stephen S. Luddington is a second-generation orthodontist who learned to appreciate the art and science of orthodontics while working in his fathers office. He brings that passion into his own practice as he helps people Smile with Confidence. He has served the communities of northern Davis and Weber counties since 1995.
Prior to becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Luddington graduated with honors from the renowned University of Washington School of Dentistry with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Centers College of Dentistry, where he received his Master of Science. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Utah Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Utah Dental Association.
By regularly attending continuing professional education conferences, Dr. Luddington stays aware of the most recent advances and technology available inthe orthodontic profession. He is committed to continually broadening his knowledge and implementing the needed technology in his office in order to provide the highest quality of care to his patients.
Dr. Luddington is originally from Bountifuland currently resides in Fruit Heights. He and his wifeKimberlyhave four children:Annelise, Adrienne, Jacob, and Markelle. Their dogs, Shorti and Cutter, arean important part of their family as well. In his spare time, Dr. Luddingtonenjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Hello there! As the new patient Treatment Coordinator and Office ManagerI keep very busy. I love working with our new patients and their families in understanding the orthodontic process and getting excited with them to start their orthodontic journey. I have worked for Dr. Luddington since 2000, and I love working in such a friendly and professional environment. My favorite part of my job is the smiles! It always makes my day when our patients get their braces off and just smile from ear to ear. I also enjoy their excitementwhen we schedule the date for them to get braces on, because they are on their way to a beautiful new smile!
I love our patients and their families. Getting to know each person and watching the change a beautiful smile has on them and their confidence never grows old. Im proud to work with such a great doctor and team, all of whom focus on whats important: making our patients smile! I manage our operatory and provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures. I enjoy answering questions about orthodontics and just chatting about life.
Welcome! I am a financial coordinator, and I keep busy by setting up contracts with patients and helping them make the most oftheir insurance coverage. I truly enjoy working with both the patients and staff in our office. We have a lot of fun here and it makes for a great work environment as well as a welcoming atmosphere for our patients!
I love our patients smiles, especially seeing each persons reaction when we remove their braces. They are like new people, filled with self-confidence. Its fun to get to know patients during their treatment and to hear about all the different things happening in their lives. I assist Dr. Luddington with placing and removing braces and with adjusting wires, too. I also make expanders and retainers.
When not working, I love spending time with my two nephews and three nieces. They are amazing and I enjoy spoiling them. Im also an avid reader and I play tennis and love spendingtime with my puppy Roxy.
Hey there! My name is Arabelle. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I moved to Nevada and now living in Utah with my wonderful husband. I began working for Dr. Luddington on August 2017 and have loved it ever since. I love working with different patients daily. You can usually find me assisting Dr. Luddington with doing adjustments on patients, starting their adventure to a great smile, and removing braces when they're finished. My favorite part is being able to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all those who enter our office. Trust me! Once you enter our office, you will become part of our orthodontic family.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I usually like to play board games and being outside to play basketball, tennis, and volleyball, etc. Once in a while I do get a little competitive playing video games with my husband.
As the Scheduling Coordinator, Ilove to help patients and their families from the first phone call through their last day of treatment and become friends along the way. I love to watch the process from when a patient first gets their braces on up to the moment they come off. The radiant smiles at the end are what makes my job fun. I love working with our fun team, who also love to help people.

Seriously the best staff! Dr Luddington goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your results and is so great and kind to work with. The staff is all so happy and friendly, they treat you like you're family. Really, really happy with results and esp the care of the staff. Highly recommend!

I've had 5 kids get braces with Dr Luddington. Every one looks fantastic. We have always been treated like family. Appointments have almost always been on schedule and they. have been detail oriented. Some of these kids have had serious overlapping issues and all looked great in the end. You will be treated fairly and be very happy you chose Dr Luddington!

Two children and myself have had braces through Ludington orthodontics. We've all had a great experience and love how our smiles turned out. The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They were very patient with my child who has sensory issues and had a difficult time getting the braces on.

The service and staff were the best!! I had a severely rotated tooth that I thought was impossible to fix, but Dr. Luddington got the job done in only a year and a half! I highly recommend this service for anyone interested in Invisalign. I will be taking my kids here when they are old enough! Everyone in both offices were the best people that helped me through my journey !

Braces at 42 couldn't have been a better experience thanks to Dr. Luddington and his staff! Treatment was fast and my smile is perfect! We had 3 other consultations before we came to Luddington and during the consult my daughter looked at me and said "yup we're going here" and it's the best choice we could have made! LOVE the whole entire staff here. They made my daughters experience of braces amazing, smooth and appliance free. The trusted her with doing bands instead of springs and it paid off. She just got her braces off and I'll refer anyone and everyone here!

If you are looking for an orthodontist who really knows his craft, who's staff is kind and professional, and fun, look no further. We give our highest recommendation to Dr. Luddington and all of his staff members without any hesitation. We have three other children who went to a different orthodontist closer to our home. We decided with my son to try Dr. Luddington although it is a half hour drive from our home. It was worth the drive! He and his staff are by far the best that our family has ever experienced. Dr. Luddington and his entire staff were absolutely perfect for my son! They have created a very professional, yet relaxing and fun environment. Dr. Luddington is very smart and really knows his craft as an orthodontist. My son's mouth was very complicated and all the decisions Dr. Luddington made ended up being perfect. When we began, my son's mouth was a mess, and thought he may need to get multiple teeth pulled. Dr. Luddington wanted to try it without pulling teeth. It ended up working perfectly. I have never been to a better doctor/professional, and I have never seen or associated with a better staff anywhere. They are always so upbeat and good with my kids!! We have loved how awesome all of the staff is at Luddington Orthodontics! They are always so happy, smiling and great with all patients young to older. They are great at explaining things to patient and parents. I highly recommend Luddington Orthodontics if you are looking to get braces. Thank you too all the staff and Dr Luddington for a great experience for both of our kids!! Love how my smile turned out. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They remember who you are and make you feel so comfortable in the office. They paid attention to all the small details and made sure I was happy with my progress throughout the process. None of my needs ever felt like a burden, but instead they took care of me and were more than happy to address anything I needed. I definitely recommend them for children and adults.

these guys are the most amazing humans! they make you feel like family and they care about not just your smile but you as a person and make you feel so welcomed and loved. From start to end of your experience they want you as comfortable as possible and will get you in anytime if you have anything bugging you and they take all precautions to ensure you will have the straightest teeth by the end. My sister, mom, and I all got our braces from here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff are wonderful and really care about how you feel every step of the way. It feels like your around family , I 100% recommend getting your braces here. I loved the results of my smile after braces, as well as how extremely thorough they are explaining after care and how to care for your braces. Compared to where I got my braces before here Ludington Orthodontist is out of this world I have absolutely no negative comments.

All four of our children have gotten braces and orthodontic care through Dr. Luddington and his staff. All of his staff have been AMAZING over the last several years. They have always communicated well and asked for our opinion on the changes during the process of aligning each child's teeth. The staff has also worked around our crazy schedules, as two of my children were in college during the time they had braces. We have been VERY PLEASED with the entire process, from the beginning to the end. Dr. Luddington and his staff have always been very professional, communicative, informative, and personable during office visits, phone calls, billing/other questions, and procedures. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Luddington and his staff to our friends and others! :)
