Our team of doctors is led by Dr. Robin Lucas and Dr. Neha Patel. Our doctors are actively trained in advanced costmetic and restorative techniques to help you achieve the optimal smile. This should be performed in a compassionate and caring manner because of the personal nature of what we do.
The front office team is comprised of courteous, friendly and knowledgable professionals especially in insurance matters. Their role is to simplify that area for you so you can focus on achieving optimal dental status.
Our dental assistants, work very closely with the doctors. Without a licensed and skilled assistant a doctors day can be difficult to say the least. We rely heavily on or assistants for everything, especially running on time so that we do not keep our patients waiting.
Dr. Robin Lucass goal is to provide excellent dental care in a compassionate manner to all of her patients. She recognizes that her patients seek an adviser that will guide them through their dental options and help them to determine what is the ideal dental plan tailored for their needs. She is also a compassionate professional with exceptional clinical skills who can execute such care efficiently. This has been the emphasis of her private practice since its inception in Hoboken, NJ in 2000!
Dr. Lucas trains and encourages all of her staff in this same philosophy. She has invested in staff development in an effort to accomplish the highest level of service for all of her patients from pediatric up through adult.
Dr. Lucas received her bachelors degree in Human Ecology from Rutgers University and her dental training at Temple University School of Dentistry in 1995. She invested two additional years of postgraduate training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ. Like most successful dentists today she takes advantage of the many educational and advanced training techniques available to dentists.

Everything started ok and the office personnel has always been nice but a year ago I had a few fillings done and a year later they fell out. Dr. Lucas wanted me to pay full price for the defective work that was done by her office. I think fillings should last more than one year and if they don't, they should replace them at least at a discount but really should be replaced at no charge. I would have at one time recommended Dr. Lucas but she does not stand by her work and would not recommend her. You take your chances having your work done there.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lucas for many years now and I have always had a positive experience with her and her team. Growing up I never had braces and had one crooked tooth and an overbite I wanted to correct. I recently completed the Invisalign process (while pregnant). It was so easy and I am happy with my results. I'd definitely recommend the process with her.

So happy with my Invisalign results! I was that kid who never wore their retainers and things shifted over the years. Just a few months of treatment later and I'm so happy to have my smile back. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in a similar situation. Invisalign is a breeze and everyone at Lucas Dental was so helpful during the process fielding all my questions and being great with follow ups.

After completing my Invisalign trays I have to say it was worth listening to Dr Lucas. I can't believe the difference in my teeth and how improved my smile is. Everyone at the office has been very helpful. Through the insurance process and appointments to ensure the progress of the trays was successful, all of the staff has been great and made the process very stress free! I have had a great experience switching Dentist and plan to stay at Lucas Dental in the future!
