Lubbock Endodontics - Endodontist in Lubbock, TX

Dr. Chadwick M. Sargent, was born and raised in Duncanville, Texas. Dr. Sargent is a 7th generation Texan. Dr. Sargent joined Dr. Robert Stites practice and together they formed Lubbock Endodontics. He has been in Lubbock since 1990, and is a honors graduate from Texas Tech University. As a freshman in college, he actually researched and diagnosed his own cancer after two physicians were unable. He decided to become a doctor because of this experience and treatment to save his own life. With the loss of his father at a young age and being a cancer survivor, these events made a large impact upon him and shaped his mission to help others specifically pain control.

Following graduation from Tech, he attended Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with Fourth Scholastic Honors (4th of 80 students) in 2000. While at Baylor, he achieved the Gross Anatomy Top Student Award; was selected for the National Dental Honor Society: Omicron Kappa Upsilon; was selected for the Baylor Odontological Honor Society; achieved the ZIPS Dental Social Fraternity Top Student Award; was a participant in the Baylor Pediatric Honors Summer Externship; received the General Dentistry Award; and was appointed by faculty to be a charter student for the Oral Surgery Faculty Student Extender Program (1 of 4). While at Baylor, Dr. Sargent was selected for a very competitive full ride scholarship provided by the United States Navy.

Upon graduation, Dr. Sargent was selected and attended a prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in Southern California. He served over 7 great years in the Navy and while practicing at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, he was selected to attend the highly sought after University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Graduate Endodontic Program. Many consider this to be one of the finest Endodontic training programs in the world with faculty members making up a dream team of Endodontists. After completion of his residency, Dr. Sargent served as the Endodontic Department Head at a busy hospital in North Carolina providing dental trauma and Endodontic care to Navy and Marine Corps service men and women. In addition to clinical duties, he was a faculty Endodontist who lectured to endodontists in advanced dental training programs at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base. While in the Navy, he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and was a four time recipient of the Naval and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Since 2006, Dr. Sargent has been practicing Endodontics back home in Texas. He joined an existing practice with a long history of being the prestigious root canal practice of West Texas and together they formed Lubbock Endodontics. Dr. Sargent has 3 children, is active in his church and community, and married his high school sweetheart, Misty, after graduating from Texas Tech. He lectures often and has been presenting research at meetings since 2000. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the South Plains Dental Society. As a dedicated husband and father, Dr. Sargent has many interests outside of his specialty. He is a Texas Tech sports fanatic, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, travel, enjoying life and music, and cooking on his grill.

This is the place to go. Absolutely wonderful from the start to the end, the staff was always so helpful even when I called several times. Never were they rude. Krista was amazing in assisting Dr Resse, and I am very pleased with my experience in having a root canal performed. I will highly recommend your services to my friends and family. Thank you again, it comes with high praises.

I am not a fan of going to the dentist. So this review is a pretty big deal for me. HOWEVER, this dentist, was phenomenal. The staff was amazing, kind, and considerate of fears/nervousness, and really worked hard to make the appointment go well. It was by far, the best dental visit I've ever had. I have no desire to visit often, but if I have too, I'd rather be there than any other dentist. Thanks, to everyone there for making it as comfortable as possible.

I'm new to the area and was referred/sent to Lubbock Endodontics be the VA outpatient clinic. They quickly made my appointment at a time that was very beneficial to me. They were friendly and professional while assessing the situation. They told me what was going on with my old root canal and what needed to be done to correct the issue. Then they went a step further and made time to make corrections the same day which was very convenient for me. Might not sound like much, but considering they had to redo the roof canal to fixe an issue that they had nothing to do with causing is top notch. I'd highly recommend Lubbock Endodontics to anyone.

Compassionate and caring. Professional in all aspects. I appreciate the follow up. It was great that they called in an antibiotic, just in case I needed it over the weekend.

Great experience! From the moment of getting in the door I was well taken care of. Dr Sargent and his great team make it a great and painless experience. Prior to any treatment they verify conditions with X-rays, and even during treatment X-rays are taken to verify their work and adjust accordingly. Highly recommend for a painless root canal.

Highly recommend! Put my anxiety at ease. Dr. Sargent was very personable and has a gentle hand. Actually speaks to you and walks you through the procedure. I like being told we are "halfway there" and "almost done". Thank you and will be back if needed.

I saw Dr Sargent today with very positive results. He was professional, kind, clear with explanations and reassuring. My x-rays with Lindsey were my first pain free dental x-rays. I have a very small mouth and biting on dental film is usually very painful. She held the film so no biting was necessary and worked diligently at making sure it was not unpleasant. Thank you to each person I encountered today for making this a good day.
