Lu Lau Dental Consultants are the real deal. I needed patients for the dental board exam and was looking for a trustworthy company who knew what they were doing. Lu Lau checked every box I was looking for. Main points are: 1. They are reliable. They will show up on time with what what discussed and promised. 2. They will provide QUALITY patients and back-up patients in case something happens to the original patient. They gave me the most ideal case possible. We're talking IDEAL lesions and IDEAL perio cases that are not too hard but will get accepted by the examiners. 3. Patients already know what to expect when they get there. The patients are well taken care of and they know what their duty is as the patient for this very important exam. 4. If you need an assistant who knows what they're doing, they have those too. The assistant is great because they help with things like the rubber dam, making sure your submission instruments are correct on the tray, they will walk your patient to get submitted, set-up and clean-up for you, and most importantly, they help calm you down!! Oh, and they provide instrument cassettes for you too. Now onto my experience. I called the phone number and was greeted by Eric. I coordinated with him on what I needed for the exam, submitted payment, etc and he answered all my questions. You pay one fee at the beginning - they will send you a contract - no surprise fees. It is non-refundable, however, so be sure you are taking the exam before committing to it. His dad, Dr. Lau is a dentist and the one screening the patients. He will pick the best and most ideal cases for you so that the test goes smoothly and things are easy. They strive for no extensions. One IMPORTANT thing to keep in mind is, you may not receive your patient x-rays or information until the week of the exam. This is because they are screening up until then for the best cases for you, don't panic. The week of the exam, his mom Lu texted me the patient x-rays. Lu met with me the day before the exam to go over last minute planning, gave me the physical copies of x-rays, completed health history forms etc. Patients were ready to go - company arranges all transportation, hotel, food, entertainment, etc. She told me to get a good night's sleep and to relax. Next day, she and the patients arrived on time, as promised. Back-ups are also on site or on-call. If one patient doesn't get accepted, she has the back-up ready. I never had this issue, all my patients were accepted the first round. Patients already know what to expect - they know it's a test, they aren't surprised by the rubber dam, all are easy-going, easy to work on, and know what their duty is as the patient. When you are done with your exam, you bring the patient back to Lu and she'll take care of the rest. If you need an assistant, make sure you ask for one - they'll give you a board-experienced assistant, one who likely has assisted dental boards before. My assistant was the BEST, she was AMAZING. She kept me on track, took care of the patient and the little things so I didn't have to worry about anything. If you pay for the assistant, instruments are included. I brought my own preferred burs and specialty instruments and rented handpieces from the school, but they provided restorative cassettes, rubber dam cassettes, and perio cassettes. They made the board exam go very smoothly for me. I did not have to worry about anything other than showing up and doing dentistry. After the exam, Eric called me to follow-up on how things went. Lu also texted me in the evening. If I ever need to take another board exam, I'll be giving them another call. I HIGHLY recommend them. There are several different dental exams that are administered in the US and Dr. Lau, Lu, and Eric have a lot of knowledge on all of them.

They stole our money. My daughter never took the exam because of COVID and kept the money. All all their telephone numbers and no one answers . Complete fraud and they don't answer the calls.

This company is a fraud - my $4000 is gone and I was not delivered ANY services. This is a fact. I have tried to reach out to settle and have received no response - this is a fact. I'm not going to inject my opinions on this matter Other peoples reviews speaks for themselves Look at Ashoks review on Yelp My review was equally the same - no services, no exam taken and yet they kept the money without even reaching out to settle the matter Eric says he will call when he never does I was not even able to reach out to arrange to schedule with them another exam date If you have money waste, this is a fine company and they will help you waste your money. More than that, no guarantees. But maybe you should give it a try and tell me what you think

Lu Lau was recommended to me by one of my friends and I am very grateful and thankful for the decision I made. Eric was very responsive and made sure I had the right patient for the clinical exam. What's amazing is that they even have back up patients. Having known how stressful it is to find a patient, especially in a new place, Lu Lau Dental consultants make it really stress free , at least in getting the right patient for the respective clinical exam. I am extremely grateful and thankful to Eric, Mrs. Lau and their entire team for the all the efforts they put together to make sure that I had a patient ( with charts, X-Rays). I highly recommend their services to any one who is looking for a patient. Thank you for everything.

Lu Lau assisted me with finding a patient for California's WREB exam. The patient they provided arrived on time (early actually) to test day, and was approved quickly by the examiners. The Class II was a perfect size, and the patient was easy to work on. The perio patient's calculus was a bit tenacious, but with 3 hours to finish the cleaning, there was plenty of time to get his teeth cleaned completely. The Lu Lau team also helped me find a dental assistant for the exam on very short notice. The only negative would be that I didn't get called about picking up my patient's file until only a couple days before the exam, and I would've preferred maybe having that information just a bit earlier. That being said, I understand that they're screening a lot of patients for tests nation wide, so it's hard to be in quick contact with everyone. Overall, the experience while a little stressful was fairly priced, and delivered what was needed. Thanks for your help!

I am really thankful for finding Lu Lau Dental exam consultants when I needed patients for my CDCA exam ,wish I knew about them earlier when I had to find patients as a student few years back. Being recently moved from where I was practicing to a different state, I found out about their service and contacted them. Eric was very polite and helpful from the start, after talking to him I knew that they were well acquainted with the exam and patient requirements. On the exam they provided me the perfect size lesions and good patients. They came prepared with all Paper work so no need to worry about anything, just need to do dentistry. All three got accepted quick and the procedures went smoothly. Even they had to travel far to come to the exam location, they were all so cool and relaxed, excellent patients! Also, I did not have a dental assistant on the day, so Mrs. Lau herself helped me for which I am really grateful. I recommend Lu Lau Dental exam consultants in finding patients to everyone. Thank you Eric and Mrs. Lau for your efforts in finding patients and helping me!! :)

My biggest source of anxiety for taking the CDCA was having the right patients. As most of your dental career is based on one examination in that so many things can go wrong, it is refreshing to find a service that took care of finding the patients, making sure they were there on time and thus, making the test all about dentistry. Both of my patients were punctual and their specific lesions needed no modifications and were minimal. I certainly recommend this service for any examination.

I used Lu Lau Dental consultants for my WREB exam and I could not be happier than this. They were very helpful in every aspect. They provided me both operative ( with ideal class II lesion) and perio patients. Both patients got accepted right away. I went through the procedures and passed the exam. Patients were very nice as well and totally understood the whole exam procedure and were very cooperative. Lu and Eric were very helpful , always there to answer my questions. They provided the pt's high quality xrays and completed exam forms prior to exam. They also provided backup patients just incase if the first patient got rejected. If I was about to take this test again, I would definitely choose them again. THANKS Lu Lau Consultants

Worst experience of my life! I thought Lu Lau and Eric would take care of everything. Eric kept promising me the radiographs of my patient and the contract clearly says that I should receive radiographs approximately 2 weeks before the exam. I did not receive the radiographs of my patients or medical histories until the day before my exam. Oh, and they came as disjointed text messages from Lu. Upon arrival of these patients, I met them and got their files. I returned to my hotel to find that most of their files were utterly incomplete even though I sent Lu Lau the correct forms. I was left scrambling to complete paperwork the night before the exam and I was looking at film radiographs, yes, film. Some of the forms were required to be in color and my hotel did not have a color printer. My mom, who thankfully came, had to run and get a color printer at 11:30PM. Most of the so called lesions were not there and I called multiple dental colleagues to confirm. I have much more to share and will add to this review, but please use someone else or pay a dentist in the area of your exam to help.

I have to admit that I was a little hesitant about using a patient procurement service for my WREB exam. I have heard and read some not so flattering reports from other candidates about their experiences. I decided to give Lau a chance since I was taking the board far from home. I am very happy with my decision. They have exceeded expectations and actually made special effort to insure that everything went well. My patients showed up on time, were easily approved and were very patient during the process. Thanks to everyone especially Eric and Mrs. Lau. You two have a special place in my heart. Love you!

I am so happy I decided to use their services, these guys know exactly what they are doing, and they know the WREB criteria inside out. Eric was in charge of finding patients for me. He promised perio and operative patients and back up patients and he delivered perfectly! My patient was a golden patient, because he was approved for both operative and perio! I couldn't have asked for a better patient. The lesion was a perfect cl II composite and he got accepted immediately. The patient was completely familiar with the process, never complained about the long wait during the acceptance and grading process, which was awesome! I saw candidates in tears during the exam, they chose other patient finding agencies and their patient never showed up. My tip to their future clients: don't get frustrated if they are not very responsive close to the exam date; they are making sure they provide the best patients with the most recent X-rays and probing chart, and they will deliver. I highly recommend working with Lu Lau.

I used Lu Lau to acquire three patients for my licensure exam, and my experience was stellar! The patients, themselves, were laid-back and familiar with the boards process, while their lesions were ideal requiring no modifications. Such a time-saver! Eric and Lu were super helpful and informative as far as paperwork and procedure-- they even provided me instruments day-of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or outcome!
