Dr. Lalama earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2017. He decided to advance his studies and pursued a residency in Prosthodontics. He served as chief resident there, and in 2020 graduated again from UF College of Dentistry with a certificate in Prosthodontics and MS degree. He joined Lozano Dental Care immediately after residency.
Dr. Lalama met his wife, Maria, in high school, and years later married her during his last year of dental residency. They had an intimate ceremony in Sintra, Portugal with close family and friends. Dr. Lalama was born in Ambato, Ecuador, and has lived most of his life in Florida. His family in Gainesville, FL includes two English Bulldogs, Chubs and Mila, who take up most of his free time, and it is not unusual to see all 4 together around town.

This place has a beautiful very relaxing office. It's the only dental office that feels like a spa rather than a dreary dentist place! The people from the front office to the doctors are all very kind! The equipment they use is very high tech and the Dr. Lalama is very nice and professional!! Like most people, I don't like going to the dentist but if I have to go, this is my dentist of choice!
