Dr. Kim earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2001 and practiced dentistry in Southeast Michigan until moving to Central Pennsylvania in 2005. After practicing in Lewisburg, Dr. Kim joined Loyalsock Dental Associates in 2007 and has served the greater Loyalsock and Williamsport area since then.
Dr. Kim is uniquely positioned to provide premier services informed by international leaders in functional and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kim specializes in a holistic, systemic approach to patient care that focuses on comprehensive oral health. In addition to addressing immediate patient concerns, Dr. Kim endeavors to tackle primary causes and to provide treatment that optimizes long-term function and aesthetics.
Dr. Kim is dedicated to excellence in dentistry and remains on the leading edge of her field through post-graduate training with world-renowned experts in cosmetic and functional dentistry. She has actively trained with the Pankey Institute and Spear Education, two of the most prominent and respected centers for advanced dental education.
Dr. Kim is active in several regional study clubs affiliated with Spear, Pankey, Cerec, and Invisalign, where she regularly meets with other dentists to discuss best practices and study the latest approaches, techniques, technologies, and materials.
Dr. Kim is known for the beauty, quality, and longevity of her work. As a general and cosmetic dentist, she provides comprehensive treatments ranging from porcelain veneers and crowns, bite splint therapy, occlusal equilibration, complete dentures, removable prostheses, and implant restorations. She is up to date on the most proven, current technologies, including single-day crowns (CEREC), clear aligner orthodontic therapy (Invisalign), and digital bite registration (T-Scan).
Dr. Kim participated in an intensive, 3-day hands-on workshop at the world-renown Spear Education to increase her practical knowledge of the restorative aspects of implants. The workshop covered a multi-disciplinary approach to implants to result in optimal planning and placement, management of soft tissue, leading to predictable patient outcomes. Dr. Kim remains committed to providing comprehensive, effective treatment tailored to the specific needs of her patients with implants.
Dr. Kim participated in a semi-annual Pankey Study Club in Annapolis, MD that focuses on Invisalign treatment. At the study club, experts shared the newest features of Invisalign, while Dr. Kim and 9 other dentists shared and discussed challenging cases in which Invisalign produced excellent patient outcomes. The study club discussed the utilization of state of the art software that helps to improve holistic clinical outcomes using Invisalign, including both aesthetics and function (in particular how teeth bite together)
Michelle has over ten years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in the oral and maxillofacial field. She joined the staff at Loyalsock Dental Associates in 2017. Michelle can be found at the front office welcoming you as you arrive, answering all your questions, and optimizing our practices schedule. She is a graduate of the former Bishop Neumann High School (now known as St. John Regional Academy).
Donna graduated from the Williamsport Area High School and the Vocational Tech program where she studied dental assisting. She has been a dental assistant for over 40 years and joined Loyalsock Dental Associates in 2017.
Tina joined the team at Loyalsock Dental Associates in 2017 as a dental assistant. Her previous experience includes over eleven years in clinical and administrative roles in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Tinas favorite aspect of being a dental assistant is the opportunity to talk with her patients and learn about their lives. She loves working beside Dr. Kim and seeing her patients achieve the highest standard of oral health care.
LouAnne graduated with high honors from the former Williamsport Area Community College. Upon graduation LouAnne joined Loyalsock Dental Associates as a dental hygienist, which has become her second home since 1981. As a hygienist, LouAnne loves to treat a wide variety of patients from young children to the elderly and continues to learn from them daily. She also served as a board member of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee for 30 years.
LouAnne is married and has two grown children who have been her utmost delight. LouAnne has facilitated the DivorceCare support group at her church since 2007. LouAnne and her husband enjoy kayaking and ballroom dancing.
Cindy earned her associates degree in Applied Sciences, Dental Hygiene from Erie Community College in Buffalo, New York in 1977 and an associates degree in Business Management from the former Williamsport Area Community College in 1991. She joined the staff at Loyalsock Dental Associates in 1987, where she has been a dental hygienist serving the needs of her patients. Cindy finds helping others in patient care as an important factor in being a hygienist and endeavors to make a positive impact in helping patients achieve their goals in dental health.
Cindys interests include the special joy in raising a family, cultivating friendships in a quilting group of vintage design, the Gathering Janes, and various outdoor activities. She and her husband reside in Williamsport and have two grown sons.

CEREC teeth in a day technology create high-end dental restorations in a single visit to our dentist office. CEREC provides the software and imaging technology needed to design, mill and fit a dental crown or veneer in one day. CEREC restorations are made from modern, natural-looking materials that can withstand daily. Dental crowns and veneers fabricated using CEREC technology look like natural teeth and enhance the apperance of your smile.
Invisalign incorporates 3D imagining and digital design to create custom-fit aligners for straightening teeth. This technology allows dentists to help patients realign their teeth and address maloclussion without the use of bulky metal braces.

Dr. Kim is truly wonderful! She and her staff are professional, gentle, and caring. I have lived in many states and abroad and Dr. Kim is by far the best dentist I've ever had. I used to be fearful of dental visits. No more.

Dr. Kim has taken the fear out of ever going to the dentist again. The most painless amazing experience ive ever had in a dentist chair.. i will never go anywhere else for my dental work . She literally gave me my smile back and im forever grateful : ) thank u so much dr.kim !!!

Dr. Kim is extremely current in all aspects of her practice and has state of the art equipment. You are a valued patient about whom she cares very much. She explains all the options for any problem you have and carefully answers all your questions. My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Kim and have recommended her to friends. I have completed my Invisalign treatment and am extremely pleased with the results. The dental hygienists, dental assistants, and staff are all very competent and pleasant.

Dr Kim had made going to the dentist a sheer pleasure. Dr Kim is very knowledgeable and has the most update equipment to accomplish your dental goals. Her staff is outstanding and extremely personable and accommodating. I never enjoyed going to the dentist in the past and felt I only received minimal care and interest in my dental health. Dr Kim has definately changed my mind. She listened to my concerns and we worked together to accomplish thise goals. I live an hour from the office and will continue to go to Loyalsock Dental Associates as opposed to finding a dentist closet to my home. Excellent facility, excellent staff,excellent dentist!

Best dentist clinic experience ever! Both my husband and I go there. Dr. Kim is very serious about our teeth. She will tell us ahead of time when she found small decay on which tooth and ask me to floss more on that particular tooth and watch it next visit, instead of waiting until she has to do a filling or other fix. I know she really cares about our teeth and both of our teeth health has been much better since we switch to this clinic. They have better facilities there which make my experience more enjoyable. The hygienists are also very patient and nice. Highly recommend this clinic!
