Dr. Siti A. Lowery has been practicing for over 22 years, recently she was voted as one of the Top 10 dentists in Cary Magazine. Her passion for dentistry goes back to childhood. She wanted and planned to be a dentist since she was 8 years old. Dentistry is truly her calling and passion, and she loves helping others smile their very best. She strives to provide the best care with a personal and compassionate touch, always with a smile.
Dr. Lowery graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1999 after completing undergraduate studies at Spelman College. However, she remains a lifelong student, continually taking advanced courses throughout the year all over the country, including a General Practice Residency at Wake Forest. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) and has been awarded a Fellowship of General Dentistry from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Lowery is married to Dr. Kedrick T. Lowery, Senior Pastor of Grace Church of Durham. Together they have a sweet daughter, Layla Grayce, and bonus daughter, Laura Nicole. She loves to travel, especially to the beach, anything artistic, laughing and spending time with her family.
Latanya is our office manager, and she comes with over 25 years experience in the dental field. She is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, home of red and green chili. Latanya moved here to NC 10 years ago and has made it her home. She has been with us for almost seven years now, and she loves being a part of the Lowery Smiles team. She enjoys interacting with our patients and going above and beyond to make sure they have the best dental experience ever. Latanya likes to travel and spend time with her grandbabies, and the best part of her day is when she can finally sit down and watch some Netflix and chill!
Jaeyoung is our full time hygienist. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, but grew up near Asheville in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Jae attended the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) in Durham for high school and UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill for her bachelors and hygiene school. She loves to keep up with new dental research articles and products to help our patients choose compatible products that work with their lifestyles. She is a cat and plant mom. During her free time, she likes to play volleyball or go to local coffee shops to read and catch up with friends. She is honored to be a part of this amazing team to provide the best care for our wonderful patients. Jae looks forward to meeting all of you!
Jessica is our hygienist on Fridays and has been on our team for over four years. She has over 20 years of dental excellence experience. Jess is from the Charlotte area and graduated from Central Piedmont Community College. She is a passionate snow skier and an outdoor enthusiast, and she loves many other sports, including cycling, hiking and golf.
LaTonya has over 25 years of experience. She has been with Lowery Smiles for four years and is loving her job. She is a small-town girl raised in the northern part of the outer banks. She has two children, a daughter and a son. She loves traveling, spending time with her grandbaby, indulging in some retail therapy, enjoying a good laugh and spending time with her children.

My appointment was amazing. I honestly hadn't had dental work in a few years and also have a little anxiety.. EVERY single staff member ensured that I was comfortable. My treatment was thoroughly explained! As a new patient, I can definitely say that I love these beautiful souls!

Very clean, competent and professional practice with modern technology. Dr. Lowery is great, she spends time explaining options and truly listens to her patients. From the front desk to the dental assistant to the hygienist and Dr. Lowery, the service was impeccable.

If you are looking for or in need of great dental care, this is your dentist. The staff is calming and friendly. Dr. Lowery is forthright with information about your dental needs. The overall atmosphere is a feeling of family. This may sound crazy, but I love going to the dentist.

I highly recommend this office and Dr. Lowery. I have been going to this dentistry for at least 5 years (probably closer to 10). The second you walk in, you are immediately greeted by the sweet ladies up front. The dental hygienist I see, Jae, is the BEST! She walks me through the cleaning step by step and always remembers random facts that I've told her at previous visits. In addition, Dr. Lowery is also a fantastic dentist. She very kind, gentle, and professional. I've recommended this office to a few people now and will continue to do so. Thank you Dr. Lowery and staff!

I have been going to Dr. Sitti now for almost six years. The smile that you see on my face, she put it there.. The smile that you see on my face comes from within and without. She treats me as though I'm family. She is a dedicated dentist to all her patients and is passionate about the work she does work she does. She and her staff are very kind to all that walk in the door. She makes you feel comfortable and most of all safe.
