We stock our office with the latest dental technology, such as our cutting-edge CEREC machine, to ensure our patients are getting the best treatment possible. Despite this, though, we consider ourselves a very people-oriented practice. We strive to build personal, one-on-one relationships with each and every patient who walks through our doors.
Dr. David Hendrick is a native of Shelby, North Carolina and is the ultimate Carolina Man. He studied at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and received a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry in 1992. He then went on and continued his education to receive his DDS at UNC in 1995. TarHeels!
As a dentist with over 20 years of experience, he strives to make each visit safe and comfortable. His main goal is to try to change the publics perception of dentistry and dentists so that people can overcome their fear of going to the dentist!
He has had training in cosmetic, reconstructive, implant, endodontic, and Invisalign/Clear Correct dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Isothermal Dental Society.

I have had dental pain for the last week and thankfully I was able to get an emergency appt for an eval. As a new patient, I am glad I was able to fill out the paperwork online before my appointment. The office itself is lovely and everyone was nice. The dentist wasn't able to do much for me since I need antibiotics and a visit to an oral surgeon, but I am happy with what care they were able to provide as well as the explanation of my treatment plan.

From the moment we entered Lower Creek Family Dentistry, we were greeted with warmth and sincerity . Everyone, from the reception area, to the dentist treated us with respect. Very friendly and very professional experience. Cleaning was a breeze. Highly recommend. I have had 6 caps and my smile is beautiful now. One of my caps came off a tooth but it was done 5 years ago. They fixed it very fast. No complaints at all.

This office is a dream come true. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist's chair was very professional and welcoming. I felt completely at ease with every step of the process. They listened to my questions and answered them in a way I understood. If you have a phobia of dentists, please give this office a try. Dr. Coreyll and his staff are amazing!

Excellent!!! As soon as I returned home from my visit with this great practice I sent them an email thanking them. My family is prior military so we have moved around a lot and have been to many dentists. I am so grateful to have Lower creek dentistry as our new dentist! Dr.Steven Coryell and his staff are absolutely wonderful.. Katie and Jenna were professional, kind, knowledgeable , as well as informative concerning any insurance questions so there are no 'surprises'. The front office staff is excellent and friendly as well as great to deal with on the phone! 5 STARS !!!

First time going to this dentist, and it was a dental emergency. They didn't have an appointment till the next day but they actually called me back an hour later and let me know they had a cancellation and got me right in. I don't have dental insurance, and the price for my service was very fair. Like most people I'm afraid of dental instruments in my mouth. Lol Dr. Coryell was very patient, and relatively painless. I didn't get his assistance name, but she, as well as the front desk crew were very pleasant and efficient. They even called me that evening to see how I was doing. Really, the best experience I could've imagined for a dentist office.
