Dr. Phillip Lowder is originally from Rigby. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Lowder completed a residency at the University of Utah Hospital. His training included treatment of medically compromised patients and a variety of surgical procedures.
He continued to practice general dentistry in Ketchum. There, he developed his interest and skills in the art and science of a beautiful smile with cosmetic dentistry. His passion for a great smile and improved bite drove him to complete three additional years of orthodontic specialty training in order to obtain aMaster of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics degree.
Dr. Lowder provides a variety of orthodontic techniques with the latest technology for treatment of children and adults with your overall health in mind. His goal is to make your orthodontic experience comfortable, fun, and affordable.
Lowder Orthodontics is dedicated to providing a thoroughly modern care experience. We use only the most up-to-date, comfort-oriented orthodontic technology for the benefit of our patients in their daily lives. We use cosmetically appealing braces and aligners for patients of all ages and the latest imaging technology. We even have an attentive, after-braces care plan that keeps teeth looking and feeling great.
We know how important efficiency and expertise is to our patients, which is why our orthodontist and staff regularly attend training programs to keep their skills at their best. We also make sure to provide a fun, relaxing atmosphere for all our patients, from kids to grownups. We invite our visitors to enjoy our in-office TV and play our wall-mounted video games.

We absolutely love Lowder Orthodontics!!! They are the best! We have our 3rd kid in braces under their care! Dr. Lowder is very knowledgeable and current in his field as well as great to work with. He takes time to explain what treatment is needed and how we are progressing every time we come in. We love his staff too! Everyone is so kind and patient! I had a few consultations in the area trying to find the best option for my son. Doctor Lowder was great, giving me several options and choices for my son. I was really impressed with his assistant Arika. She was very professional and patient as I had asked her many questions. Great orthodontist office!

Excellent service and complete treatment plan. Very easy to schedule with and they're always so friendly, even when rescheduling appointments. Dr. Lowder cares about each patient's specific needs and the correct time for treatment. I'll continue to take my other children here in the future.

We have been going to Dr. Lowder's office for two years and it has been a wonderful experience. My daughter has broken a few metal pieces and Lowder has come in on his day off to take care of her. The staff and affordability can't be beat! We will be coming here for all our orthodontist needs.

We Love Dr Lowder and his Staff!! Dr. Lowder is so genuine, professional and educated. He really cares about each patient, their specific needs and their overall well-being. My teeth have always been my biggest insecurity, in fact such an insecurity I was embarrassed to seek help to correct them. I am 35 years old, I finally gathered the courage and made an appointment. I sat in the car debating going in, I was so afraid of being judged or being told my teeth were beyond help. Well let me tell you, from the receptionist to the young lady that took pictures of my mouth, to the orthodontist, I was treated like an old friend that they were excited to see. I was treated with such professionalism and compassion, I felt so comfortable right away. And guess what??? I'm getting braces soon!!!
