This office fit me in right away and did a consult and root canal therapy on the same day since I traveled from Myrtle Beach. Local Conway endodontist could not fix my problem for three weeks even though I was in a lot of pain. Lowcountry provided excellent service and was also less expensive than others.

Very impressed with their work, manners, communication, and help with my root canal. They did a wonderful job working with my dental anxiety and answered my questions professionally. Highly recommend Dr. Christos and his practice! Thank you guys!

Highly recommend! I was originally referred to an oral surgeon for tooth removal and implant, but my sister, who is a dental technician told me to see an endodontist first. I'm glad I did! Dr. Maltezos was able to save my tooth. Great experience!

I was extremely nervous hearing that I needed a root canal. As soon at I arrived at Lowcountry Endodontics I was greeted by the staff who were super nice. Dr. Maltezos and his assistant reassured me making me feel calm and comfortable before my procedure. They would also let me know what to expect throughout the root canal, as well as let me know when they were half way and 80% finished which I really appreciated. They also asked how I was doing multiple times just to check in. I felt zero pain. The numbing didn't even hurt. It went by so quickly. I would highly highly recommend Dr. Maltezos office to anyone. He is phenomenal. And if in the future I have some type of dental issue and need a consultation or procedure, I will definitely be calling Lowcountry Endodontics.

Lowcountry Endodontics is hands down the the best. I was visiting my dad in Mrytle Beach where I had to retreat a previously done root canal and Lowcountry was the only Endo that understood the unbearable pain I was in and made special accommodations for me to travel 70 miles from Mrytle Beach since every Endo in the area had a 30+ day wait and did not care about the emergency pain I was experiencing. The facility was very clean, staff was very knowledable and friendly and they had the latest technology to help identify my issue in my tooth. Best of all they were very reasonabled priced since I did not having any dental coverage, and the very quick scheduling. I would rate Lowcounty ten stars if possible. The pain I was in was unbearable and if they didn't see me and accommodate me I wouldn't known what to do. Zach

Dr. Maltezos and staff were fantastic. My first root canal and was not looking forward to the procedure at all but Dr. Maltezos put me at ease and the procedure was nothing to fear. Dr. Maltezos was very informative throughout and made sure I was comfortable and pain free. I would highly recommend Lowcountry Endodontics for a root canal.

The BEST!!! I had severe pain in my tooth all weekend. Dr. Maltezos and his staff got me in and took awesome care of me. They examined my tooth and performed a root canal. This was the second root canal I had with Dr. Maltezos. Top notch care in every respect. I would highly recommend Low Country Endodontics.

The anxiety and guilt of a necessary root canal are not the best feelings, but Dr. Maltezos welcomed me to his practice with genuine patience and kindness. Not only was the procedure swift, painless and calming, but Dr. Maltezos erased any fear within minutes of meeting. I highly recommend his expertise and bedside nature to all in need of endodontic care. I wish him & his colleagues nothing but THE BEST!

As a dental professional myself, I was very impressed at how efficient this office is! Had my first issue with an infected tooth ever and they got me in quickly and fixed up! They made sure I was as comfortable as possible. They explained every step along the way which helps tremendously with my anxiety! So grateful for them! Thank you guys so much!

What a fabulous experience!! My daughter fell a few years back and broke her two front teeth that are permanent. I was a wreck as I knew this would be a long road ahead with watching her teeth and making sure that her teeth stayed viable. Over Halloween this past year, she ate a lovey sugar daddy which broke off her composite and our general dentist referred us to Dr. Maltezos office to get her root look at as she was starting to have pain. Make a long story short, my daughters tooth went from a viable tooth to needing a root canal. Dr. Maltezos was AH-MAZING as he was so gentle, so informative and so encouraging with my 9 year old. He was able to repair the root and my daughter was so happy that it wasn't a painful procedure. Before we got to the appointment she was so anxious, but when we left, she said, "MOM, THAT WAS EASY AND HE WAS SO GENTLE AND I WOULD SEE HIM AGAIN!" If you are uneasy about a root canal and your dentist says that you need to see a specialist, you MUST GO SEE Chris Maltezos in Park West at Low Country Endodontist! Thank you for such an amazing experience! The staff rocks too!

I have so much dental anxiety but Dr. Maltezos and his whole staff are absolutely incredible and make you feel at ease and comfortable from beginning to end. I'd never go anywhere else for a root canal. They are amazing at what they do. They will talk you through everything, update you on what they're doing, how much longer it will be, as well as say encouraging words and tell you how awesome you're doing which is great to hear when you're in that situation. Special shout-out to Ashley as well for her encouraging words and kindness. Can't beat them.

Awesome experience! This was my first root canal and Dr. Maltezos got me in and out and did an amazing job. He is confident in his work and makes you feel completely comfortable. The staff is also great and very helpful! Highly recommended!

Exceptional! My military dentist referred me here for a procedure. The dental hygienists were extremely professional, very gentle, and tried to make everything as comfortable as possible. The endodontist was extremely professional and skilled. Worked around my permanent retainer so he wouldn't have to remove it. I could not be happier with my visit Thank you guys

This is my second root canal with Dr. Chris Maltezos. He is professional, caring, calming for anxious patients and very skilled at complex root canal treatments and an expert at administering local anesthesia, to make a pain free experience. He is very knowledgeable and competent with 16 years of experience in this field of Endodontics. I am an RN and I came back for the second time as I appreciate his methods. Infection control and prevention are important to me also and I appreciate how this office operates to keep patients safe from infection. I had thermal sensitivity to hot and cold foods for a long time. Dr. Chris determined very quickly with each tooth that he treated, by performing quick thermal testing to isolate the problem tooth along with X-rays showing root canal was necessary. Though the pain appeared to be in an adjacent tooth, this turned out to be referred pain. I was able to get an appointment quickly and his staff were also very helpful and friendly and reassuring. He and his assistant kept me informed every step of the way throughout the procedures, which helped to reduce anxiety. Each tooth was completed in one visit. They handled insurance authorization and communicated with my primary dentist. The evening of the procedure, the thermal sensitivity was already gone! The following day they called to check on me. This follow through further demonstrates the comprehensive patient care they provide.
