Dr. Leroy Loving, Jr. is a dual degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who is licensed in dentistry & Medicine. Dr. Loving is committed to quality care for his patients and has dedicated 34 years to his successful private practice located in Decatur, Georgia.
Dr. Leroy Loving, Jr. opened his private practice doors in 1979 as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Math & Chemistry from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. There he served as President of the Science Club, Beta Beta Beta Honor Society.
He then attended Howard University in Washington D.C. an earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. There he served as President of Student National Dental Society. He also received the Mosby Book Scholarship Award, Oral Pathology Award and the Oral Surgery Award. He also completed a Residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University.
After practicing Oral & Maxillofaical Surgery for over 14 years, he enrolled at University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree. He also completed a one year General Surgery Residency at Georgia Baptist Hospital known now as Atlanta Medical Center.
Dr. Leroy Loving, Jr. has been a faithful member of Cascade United Methodist Church since July 1979, where he serves on the mens usher board. Additional, he is a founding member of the churchs Health Ministry. He also finds time to serve the community as a member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta for more than 21 years and a Lifetime Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
