I was hesitant to post this review. But I just got back from an appointment with my new dentist after having a bad experience at this location a year ago, so I felt somewhat obligated. Last year (2021) when I visited this location, I scheduled an appointment for their "$69 Exam, X-rays and Cleaning." Maybe it was $59. I thought it was too good to be true but gave it a shot. Unfortunately, they said my gums were in such bad shape and so infected (almost all of my gum measurements were 4 millimeters) that they couldn't/wouldn't do a regular cleaning because all of the bacteria stirred up from a cleaning would just further infect my gums. They said I needed a $1,600 deep cleaning and that insurance wouldn't cover it. Apparently, this is very common for them, because everyone from the exam room to the front desk knew the drill and tried to get me to schedule and make a payment. I fell for a similar situation years ago, so I told Lovett that I would not be scheduling a deep cleaning. Long story short, I went to another dentist a week later and told them about the Lovett incident and they assured me that my gums where in great shape with only "a couple of 4s" but certainly no reason for a deep cleaning for $1,600. I got a good cleaning and my teeth looked and felt great. A year later (last week) I saw another new dentist and they confirmed that my gums were in great shape. "You have two 4s because you grind your teeth." No bleeding, inflamed or infected gums. They gave me a cleaning and sent me on my way. Once again, my teeth look and feel great and I had two dentists confirm that I did not need $1,600 worth of cleaning. Take what you will from this review.

Coming from an individual who has hated the dentist for their entire life, Lovett Dental kirby staff have been the first set of professionals to make me feel comfortable and understood. Going to the dentist has always been an anxiety inducing task for me, but the ladies at Lovett Dental kirby have truly changed my perspective on dental care. I seriously could not recommend this place enough! They are kind, always happy to explain every part of the treatment plan in detail, and very professional.

Dr. Mark Williams is beyond amazing! I went in to have attachments installed for my invisilign and he correctly stated that I should do a cleaning prior to the procedure. He then thoroughly explained every step in detail, called in a prescription for mild pain, and even called me to check on my progress that same day. You're not just a number to him, you're family. I highly recommend Dr. Williams!
