Dr. Lauren Capozza has been practicing pediatric dentistry in the Cincinnati area since 2012. She was thrilled to open her own dental practice in August 2020. Dr. Lauren began the pursuit of her dream at DePauw University in Indiana, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Lauren became a published author of a research study on the topic of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Following dental school, she completed a two year specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Lauren spent over five years as an attending staff at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center, where she supervised and taught pediatric dental residents. She still returns to the hospital as a volunteer lecturer to help share her knowledge. This involvement with the hospital helps Dr. Lauren develop expertise in the areas of dental traumas, sedation and children with special health care needs.
She is board certified in pediatric dentistry by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and Ohio Dental Association.
Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Lauren is busy being a mom! She loves spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons. Family and faith are her core values. As a mom, her goal is to treat all patients as if they are her own children. Dr. Lauren loves seeing her patients grow and develop beautiful, healthy smiles.

Today was our first visit to Loveland Pediatric Dentistry. We had a great experience from the moment we walked in until we left. The staff was very friendly, we were seen quickly, and the office was super clean and child friendly. Both our hygienist (I can't recall her name ) and Dr. Lauren were awesome with my son and made him feel comfortable. Overall, a great visit!

The staff here is amazing! My son has sensory issues and he did amazing getting his teeth cleaning. The staff is compassionate, kind, and really did amazing communicating with my son and making him understand everything happening and gave him a sense of control. He was calm and relaxed the whole time with their excellent care. We are very happy with our experience.

Best pediatric dentistry. They talk to the kids, make sure kids are comfortable. Keep the kids busy in conversation and also there is a tv on the roof, so that kids can watch something and get distracted while they are being treated. Place seems to be new, so pretty clean and fresh. They do sanitize equipments thoroughly before seeing another kid. I had a bad experience in past in another dentistry where my kid possibly got covid. So full marks for hygiene. I would definitely recommend this place.

My preschooler has a moderate amount of doctor anxiety. Combine that with his incredibly inquisitive nature and he can be a tough patient. The staff here is AMAZING. They were so patient, showed him around the office before taking him to his chair and spent the time to answer (and offer demonstrations for) every single question he asked. And I promise you, he asked A LOT of questions. I am so glad we found this office and it will be our home dentist until we move or age out.

What a positive first dental experience for my two-year old! Barb was his hygienist and she helped him gradually progress from not opening his mouth to laughing while getting his teeth cleaned. Dr. Capozza offered many creative but practical suggestions for taking care of my son's teeth at home to make brushing a more positive experience for him. It takes a lot of patience and energy to work with this age group and the staff at Loveland Pediatric Dentistry has the knowledge and skills to make a successful dentist visit possible for young patients.

We love, Loveland pediatric dentistry. They are helpful, on schedule, knowledgeable, patient and kind. We had a terrible experience at another dentist and had to seek new care. Both my children have loved everyone here. And no longer have anxieties.
