An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

My favorite dentist I have been to. Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and understanding as well as help you set goals of where you would like to be with the health of your gums and teeth. I come from out of town just to come here .

I have never loved a business and all it's staff more. Everybody in the building is so professional and friendly. They do the most to make you feel right at home. Their whole team is amazing but I'm especially fond of Shelby. She made the whole experience as comfortable as can be and really went the extra mile through the whole process. She is without a doubt the best dental assistant I have every encountered. Their whole team is amazing!!

I can't speak for the dentistry (I ended up elsewhere) but I can say that the beautiful blonde girl at the front that helped me figure out my insurance was so helpful! I believe her name is Mary- maybe Sarah. Very professional!

I can not say enough good things about this office. First of all my appointment was at 0930 and I was seated and being seen at 0932. I've spent most my life in the Military and most Veterans will tell you that our Dentists are good but very heavy handed. The Doctor I seen today was so gentle that I didn't feel that dreaded shot in the mouth. Even now ,12hrs after my appointment, I cant tell I had a tooth pulled, a filling and a root canal done. The pricing and charges where clear, understandable fair, affordable and not cent more than what was agreed upon.

I had to use a different dentist for a while but i came back to Modern Dentistry as soon as my insurance permitted. It would have been 5 stars but there was some confusion on the work I had been quoted. This caused me to have an appointment that i had to reschedule because i was scheduled for an un-approved scaling. I was seen immediately the next week for the approved work. Very friendly and very willing to work work with the patience to get the right care. Thank you Modern Dentistry.
