Dr. Michael Lovda was born and raised in Chicago, attending Lane Tech High School. He received a Bachelor in Science degree from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and then attended the University of Illinois Dental College in Chicago, where he graduated with honors. There he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity. Following dental college, he served a one-year general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, broadening his dental education.

Dr. Mike is passionate about forming connections with patients to help them develop a great smile and confidence. He was raised in Barrington and is a graduate of Barrington High School. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology from Indiana University and his Masters Degree in Biotechnology at Roosevelt University. In 2015, he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
Dr. Mike is a firm believer of continuing education to deliver comprehensive treatment using the very latest in dental technology. He has extensive experience with CEREC technology, which allows for the convenience of one-time visits for crown and bridgework for his patients. He has also completed training in dental implants and periodontal surgical techniques.
Dr. Mike is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Mike is happily married to his wife Megan. They have two dogs, Rocky and Roo. In his free time, Dr. Mike can be found at the ice rink playing hockey, enjoying live country music with his wife, or hiking trails with his dogs.
