They make u feel Xtra comfortable. I'm very scary when it comes to pain. She ask me more than enough, "if i felt any pain" during my procedure. I will be returning! Thank yall for everything.

My experience here is always pleasant all of the employees here are very kind and respectful. When you walk in they always greet you with a smile . Dr Jolivette is always willing to assist with any concerns you may have The wait time is never long so that's also a great thing

I had a veneer done by another dentist on #9 and one day I randomly told a colleague I wasn't happy with the work. I sent Dr. Jolivette pics of the previous work and she assured me that she could do better. Sure enough she was true to her words. I ended up getting veneers of 8&9 and they look so much better. They have a sheen that matches my teeth, they are not as bulky as my previous veneer and they also felt so great compared to the previous veneer. The whole experience took two visits and her staff of Isabella and Jada were also great. Dr. Jolivette is a brilliant, caring, thorough and talented dentist. Highly recommend.

Last year around this time I went to this dentist to get 2 fillings done. First off, they had me wait over an hour because they "couldn't get the prior patient numb". Once they called me back she only did one filling and said she could not do the other because I couldn't get numb but charged my insurance as if she had actually done it. I've never had a dentist claim I couldn't get numb. I said he'd to a new dentist right after and they actually fixed what she had done wrong, as well as filled the tooth that she claimed she could not get me numb enough to fix. I'm pretty sure she just wanted to rush me out the door. When telling my current dentist what happened she was even shocked considering the fact that she had no problem getting me numb. I wouldn't suggest this dentist office at all. I should have gone with the reviews and not gone here. I went once and never will I go again, nor would I recommend anyone to go in general.

Went in for a 6-month cleaning/checkup that's covered by insurance. They put a fluoride treatment on my teeth, which isn't indicated for adults and can be detrimental to existing dental work like crowns (of which I have several). To make it worse, they charged me $39 WITHOUT telling me beforehand that it was an extra charge! FACT: They performed a procedure on my mouth without my prior knowledge or consent and then tried to charge me for it. This alone is enough of a professional and ethical infraction for us to never return and likely is an actionable offense. While our appointment was with Dr. Jolivette, we got some mumble-mouthed guy who told us his name, but he mumbles so badly we didn't understand him, even after I asked him to repeat himself. (Note: I do not have hearing problems.) Then he goes around "probing" my gums, but he's actually spearing them like he's never done a dental exam before. I have been to many dentists, but this was the laziest exam I've ever had. Also, my gums aren't cocktail wieners, so let's not stab through them, okay? And the cleaning? It was non-existent. I floss constantly (4-5 times a day) so I don't have much to scrape off my teeth when I go to the dentist, but this guy did a half-hearted scrape on maybe 4 teeth. He rarely spoke directly to me except to say "turn toward me" and "open wider", otherwise he spoke to the staff as if I weren't even there. He had all the personality of wet cardboard and his dismissive attitude was rude. The hygienist we got told us "it's my first day", which isn't what anyone wants to hear, but if they have experience then no worries. But there were worries aplenty. Another hygienist had to show ours how to use some of the equipment and the rotating rubber brush device they use to polish your teeth was a weak rechargeable device that couldn't clean a window, much less teeth. It just bogged down when any amount of pressure was applied making it pretty useless. The hygienist didn't even get to all my teeth, much like the dentist didn't do a thorough exam/cleaning. BUT, they made sure to do both panoramic and bitewing x-rays, presumably because they can charge more to insurance. This place is only trying to generate revenue. Generating revenue is fine, it's how a business stays in business, but generating revenue in an unethical manner by not supplying proper goods and/or services is wrong on so many levels. They tried to up-sell my wife on a "deep cleaning" that was $245 PER QUADRANT! It's funny how, after seeing another dentist just 6 months prior and having ZERO problems for years, suddenly in just 180 days my wife's teeth have gone from perfectly fine to degraded & needing deep cleaning from this new dentist. How would this so-called "dentist" even know? He spent almost no time examining either of us. In fact, the time it took for both of us was less than it takes for one of us with every other dentist office we've ever been to. We will not be back under any circumstances.

They are persistent about a flouride clean. I had a bad cavity. They numb my mouth got me to sign a paper then told me they wanted 288$ because it was "surgical" in which the prarieville location pulled a tooth for me last year and just billed my health insurance. They sent me off in pain. I do not recommend this dentist at all

Went to the Old Hammond location. The dentist made an extremely inappropriate and uncalled for comment about my daughter, therefore I will not return. She completely cut me off when I was asking a question very rudely. Also, she attempted to charge me for a fluoride treatment that I declined and did not receive. They sometimes just apply the fluoride after cleanings without telling the patients that insurance doesnt cover it beforehand. Its only $39 but that is not the point. The front desk lady and the one who did my cleaning were very friendly so that is a plus.

In all honesty, who actually loves a visit to the dentist? Dr. Jolivette And her staff are amazing, especially Smiley Thomas ! If you're worried about sanitation during the pandemic; the office was clean and sanitized. I am beyond satisfied with my teeth cleaning and will be sure to recommend this office to everyone I know ! Thanks again Smiley and Dr. Jolivette !!

I recently visited this office and the service in Baton Rouge and it was great I was able to come in and got seated pretty fast. The staff and the doctor were really polite and took really good care of me because I have really bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist. The young lady in the front desk was able to answer my insurance questions and explain what all is covered. I would recommend Dr. Jolivette office.

Terrible teeth cleaning procedure. All they do is use rotating tooth brush while using some type of cleaner. My gums were sore for 2 weeks post visit. They call fluoride "vitamins"??

Went in and had some work done after breaking my front tooth. Got a root canal, and couple of temporary crowns. Today I finally got my permanent crown, and I must say I am highly impressed at how good the crown came out. I will definitely be returning soon for more dental work in the future. I highly recommend anyone to come here first before you decide to go anywhere else. They will definitely take care you over at Louisiana family dental!

They take both our primary and secondary insurances but refuse to file with both. Only 1 or the other. Would not accept partial (75%) on a past due balance. Would not see my child for her follow up on a filling even though she's in pain. Would rather turn a child away than see her on a partial payment. Would not accept payment in full because we would have had to use 2 forms of payment. I don't think a receptionist should be allowed to make decisions like this. I'm sure her boss will be highly upset that she caused the loss of a patient, especially one that is in pain. Deserve a 0 for customer service and should reconsider some of those policies.

I have always been afraid of going to the dentist. I had a very bad toothache and could not take the excruciating pain any longer. I called Dr. Jolivette's office and received an appointment the next morning. I am so happy I found her. Her staff was super friendly and caring. When I told her about me always being afraid of the dentist, pain, and needles, she quickly put my mind at ease and explained the whole procedure. She was very gentle, patient, and kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. She talked to me about different things to keep my mind focused on something else other than the needle. I would recommend her to anyone. She even walked me out to the waiting area. I will be returning. Thank you for a pleasant experience and helping to finally relieve this pain I was having for so long.

My mom went here for around 1 year and got her braces here, the dentist told her that everything would turn out great. After wasting about $3,300 and 1 year of her time the dentist told her that her teeth were not making any progress and instead of trying to do something to fix that she simply just took her braces off. And she had told my mom that she was going to help her find a specialist to help her, and all she did was walk the room, took her braces off and left, not even an apology or anything. So basically its like my mom threw away $3,300 in the trash. If you ask me, all this lady is good at is wasting your time and money.
