I had a great experience at this office! Very clean and beautiful offices. They were very thorough with the cleaning and walked me through their process and checked in frequently to make sure I was as comfortable as possible.

I made my appointment here two months in advance. I was a patient at the office in Kenner, so I wanted to continue to be a patient after such a thorough, fulfilling, patient to dr/ staff experience I had there. I arrived 40 minutes early since i was considered a new patient, and assumed I'd be seen upon my appointment time ; if anything, no longer than ten - 20 minutes. 30 minutes after my appointment, someone comes rushing past, calls my name as if i knew there protocol / get up immediately, and follow to the back. I was told to be seated. The seat already had one of the technicians coat on it so i had to sit on the edge of it. The space doesn't look or feel like it was cleaned thoroughly if not at all. I dismissed that feeling. I was asked did i have any problems or concerns and I voiced them. 5 minutes later the woman who bought me to the back said I needed new x-rays. 5 minutes later she told me I had to wait because they can only take one x-ray per patient at a time. The technician who left her coat comes in, asks for her coat, asks the same thing about any problems, leaves, and 10 minutes later, x-rays are taken in chair by woman who walked me to the back. The tool they used to keep my mouth open, are sharp and hurt! I do appreciate that I was made aware of it prior to. After that, I waited. Coat lady came in, asked me to sit back in chair. I waited another 5 minutes. The dentist came in. Again, asked if I had problems or questions, I told her. She spent about 55 seconds looking at my teeth, and told me what she thought. Out of all what was causing me pain, she recommended I get a crown, and to follow up with a orthodontist and made it very clear that it's an extra fee and to get an idea on what I want to prioritize to pay to get done. She told me my problems aren't bad or abnormal but my crown definitely needed to be done, and requested a 360 x-ray to ensure my wisdom teeth weren't the problem and not the problem I clearly told her. Another 5 minutes passed, both technicians were talking and confused on who was their patient and who was doing my 360 x-ray. The technician who left her coat on the chair, then, said she going to do my cleaning before taking photos. This was the fastest, most uncomfortable cleaning I've had in my 30 + years of dentistry. She cleaned my teeth in a minute and flossed my teeth like she was in a hurry. Felt like she was pulling my teeth out of my gums, had the audacity to say i had a tar build up, after pulling so hard on my teeth - one last "swish" and "spit" she got up without a word, napkin, mouthwash or directions as to what I was suppose to do. I cleaned my mouth and the water and blood that was left on my face, and again. Waited. The first lady I spoke to came in, and coat lady told her to do my x-ray. It took a minute, but she did my x-ray. I then waited another 5 minutes for the dentist to come back and tells me she was right, "just a crown." asked if I had any questions or problems. I said no, at this point I was ready to run out of there and call the BBB. Upon being escorted to the front, coat technician asked if I got a bag. I asked, " a bag ?" she left and came back with a goodie bag of floss and a toothbrush and clearly stated she wanted to go over my treatment plan. Apparently, she doesn't know what HIPPA (patient privacy) is , it's importance, or, she didn't consider it. She went over what medicaid could and could not cover in front of the women working at the desks, and the patients a few feet away; could also hear. She circled and made ink marks to highlight the out of pocket costs to insinuate in the way she spoke, I couldn't afford and or couldn't comprehend english and medical terminology and disappeared. I don't recommend anyone coming here unless you want your business, kindness, genuine concerns taken lightly, while its insinuated your insurance or lack there of isn't warranted the same experience people who give this place 5 stars gets.

This place and service is not the same anymore. I was on time for my appointment was left to wait over 32 minutes and was never called to the back for service. I watch 5 ppl come in after me and was called to the back while I was left waiting. I asked when I would be call and was told soon. While the grace period for the patient is 10 minutes but I'm left waiting over 30 minutes. The insult is to watch others coming in after me being called for service. Needless to say poor patient service and reckless time management. After speaking with fiends I found out they have also left the practice the service is not the same you're treated like a herd just a number!

I have terrible teeth. I've used a half dozen dentists uptown over the years. I got the guts up to try this place after being referred by a friend. What a blessing. They did x-rays and printed me out a plan of the things needed and gave me a pep talk. No shaming. I've been to 3 appointments and they have all been awesome. 2 to go and I can't believe it. I'm almost there. This place is a total game changer if you have dentist anxiety.

Horrible service. Come, let me take you on a journey of the worst dental office I've ever been to. I had one prior cleaning and a tooth taken out here, it was basic but fine. The problem comes I was supposed to get a cleaning in April 4th and braces on May 12th. THEY cancelled on me on my cleaning April 4th literally the morning of. No notice and they didn't even try to call, just texted. Then when I call to reschedule they say they're all booked up from the beginning of April all the way until past May for the cleaning. Obviously I need the cleaning before braces especially because my extracted tooth exposed a part of one of my tooth that had never been able to be reached by the scaler before. This was their fault for cancelling and they didn't care. The receptionist I first talked to was fine but the woman they transferred me to was very nasty and unhelpful over the phone. I can't believe it if she's a manager. This is your fault so why are you catching an attitude like we're fighting at a bar? It's unnecessary. She seemed to want me to cancel so I just cancelled all. I'm not getting my braces here anymore either now so congratulations! Because you cancelled and couldn't fit in a basic cleaning (FIVE weeks to chose from and you can't find a single appointment when it was your fault?), you're losing out on my $5000 a braces treatment was going to be. Don't give your money to this place. They're extremely amateur and they don't know how to run an office. If you want to wait hours in the waiting room, get all your dental procedures in a cubicle so there's no privacy, get rescheduled on the day of your appointment via text, and deal with nasty office staff who act like they don't want you to be there, go here! There was another incident too where they tried to max out my insurance by somehow not having my extraction in my treatment plan and telling me I needed to come in for another consultation even when I already had both one of their dentists and their ortho say my tooth needed to be out, but I was able to straighten that out so I looked past it. Btw part of that problem was caused by a receptionist once who was playing with her Apple Watch so I had to try to get her attention and when I did, she looked annoyed and didn't help me with my scheduling an extraction so I had to call on the phone to get someone else because she was impossible to deal with. The one receptionist who was very nice was there on March 15th, I won't include her in this. Keep her because she's the best part of your office staff. And to be completely fair so you know my review is honest, another plus is I can say that the orthodontist who I consulted with was very thorough in his consultation and I really appreciated the attention to detail so I was excited to work with him, but this is a horrible office so no.

Do not recommend, terrible service! I found the front desk to be unhelpful and were very inconsistent in office policies. I had to wait over an hour for insurance verification because was told they don't do it ahead of time in case of no shows and later was told they do it ahead of time but that I didn't answer my phone when they called (no records of any call or voicemail on my phone and they had correct number on file), it felt like they were lieing and making excuses. I had to reschedule and they said they could see me in March again - my appt was originally mid Jan. What a waste of time, I won't be rescheduling with them.

After an absolutely awful experience somewhere else we were so thankful Louisiana Dental was able to squeeze us in last minute on a Friday afternoon. They were able to offer a temporary fix to a chipped tooth so our friend could continue smiling for pictures during the rest of our trip. The dentist was transparent about what the future could hold- a permanent crown and possible root canal- but made us so at ease with everything. Thank you to the entire staff. There wasn't one person there that wasn't friendly, knowledgeable, and made our friend feel comfortable. Thank you, thank you! I recommend them without hesitation.

Every time I go I am very satisfied with my service. During my last visit the front desk staff was very patient with me while trying to update my new dental plans. Dr. Wallace is always kind, quick and efficient. Leaving with little to no pain after. I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for quality dental service and not being just another patient. Thanks guys!

I've been here before and had an okay experience so when I began to experience pain on the lower left side of my mouth I gave them a call and was told I could walk in, so I did. They took images and gave me a plan of treatment, it was all going fine until I asked for something stronger than a 400mg ibuprofen. I was told that I would not need anything stronger than that to manage the pain I've been in. After I told them that I have been taking 800mg ibuprofen for the last week and I've had no relief they assured me that the 400mg would help and escorted me to the pay desk even though I asked to speak to the dentist again to try and explain to her. Once I got to the pay desk, further try to explain that a situation just happened and that I was left feeling unheard and very disrespected. That's when the "manager" came and repeatedly told me that "$28 dollars is due today" she could care less that her staff was unprofessional and treated me poorly --( I have my suspicions on why) she was more concerned about $28 dollars than the fact I was leaving in tears after being told "no way was I in that much pain". That statement made under the guise of being concerned about giving out too many pain killers was really just prejudice being displayed. I don't even like to take pain medication but I am in so much pain and discomfort that I asked for something stronger because I know what I was prescribed would not help me in the slightest. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I will never understand how you can work in a field where you are to help people-- ALL PEOPLE, but allow your prejudices and preconceived notions about people to keep you from doing that.

I walked in on yesterday with a dental emergency asked to see Dr.Wallace I'm sure she would be aware of my emergency because I've been seen twice in November and also sent to a specialist (Her close friend) to be told what I think we knew already, but to be called up to the counter and be told there's a balance from 2018 because in 2018 my insurance under paid them once I clear that up I can be seen! So I've been see 3 times in November under my new insurance and this balance never came up but to walk in with a Emergency and be told to pay first wow very professional Dr.Wallace and Staff y'all had nooo problem seeing and charging me previously. And I will say this I had the $50 but at that point it was clear that is not someone I want to deal with I know it's all about a dollar but to refuse to see me with a Emergency you clearly didn't care about my dental emergency only a $50 balance from 2018! I will not be returning!!

I called with an emergency (which they supposedly specialize in) and the receptionist told me the cut off for walk in was 11am. I just so happen to leave 6 blocks away so when I get there at 10:50, she (I'm almost positive the same person I spoke to on the phone) tells me it's 10am now. They turned away a patient in severe pain and I'm pretty sure lied to me at some point about their hours. Would not recommend.
