Waste of time . A person that is in pain is more important than a valid I.D . How ignorant and not compassionate at all to a living breathing person over a piece of plastic with the date on it . Currently still in pain and Laplace lacks proper care everything is closed or shutdown so help is very minimal.

Summary: The staff here are very unprofessional, inconsiderate, told me to "shut up", and unknowledgeable. Dr. does not even prescribe any pain medication. If possible, I would recommend going to the office in kenner. They took care of me, explained everything, much more professional, and prescribed adequate pain medicine. They were about to remove my wisdom teeth, even though they are severely impacted and thank goodness I went to the office in kenner, because they recommended me to an oral surgeon. -------------------------------------------------------- Please be careful about who you choose for your dental care needs. I came to this office because I was in so much pain because my wisdom tooth was coming out. Turns out, all of my wisdom teeth were severely impacted. After my examination, they said I had to wait 4-8 weeks for an INSURANCE APPROVAL. I called my insurance and they said that never had received any claim whatsoever, even though the staff was telling me they were waiting on an insurance approval. NOTE: the staff here truly don't care about you. They speak to you very condescendingly. Since I was in so much pain, I decided to pay out of pocket because I needed to get them removed ASAP. The day of my surgery, I got there 30 minutes before, just for them to tell me that I had to had someone accompanying me the whole time, even as an adult. Mind you, I had a family member that was set to come in and pick me post surgery. I explained to them that I was coming from Metairie, and my family member was on there way. They did nothing to try and understand the situation, nor were they considerate of the arrangements my family had made for me to have this surgery. All in all, the manager is very rude, and told me to shut up. Of course, this is very unprofessional so I have to defend myself for being disrespected. When I went to the office in kenner, they told me that they had no idea how they were going to do it in the Laplace office, because my wisdom teeth were so impacted, I needed an oral surgeon.

Bring a sweater or coat it's cold! But I'm here on a Wednesday afternoon and it's basically empty. Very friendly staff. Was called 5 minutes after checking in. With appointment of course!

I've been here before and I trust that these people know that they're doing. I'll definitely continue coming here in the future. They always do a great job here and are very friendly. They really do go above and beyond. I want to especially thank my dentist Kristin for her professional work as always. I know they have to put up with a lot daily but they're always so very patient every day which I really respect. There are a lot of people these days that get easily offended when their doctor tells them the cause of their problems it's honestly sad. Drinking soda every day does ruin your teeth. Who knew. Disregard those people, this place is honestly great.

I went to have an exam yesterday which ended up turning into treatment due to their open schedule. My teeth were cleaned on the right side of my mouth by Kristin Firmin R. D. H. and the fillings on the right side of my mouth were done by Dr. Thai Nguyen D.D.S. During the cleaning I noticed my lip was burning. This resulted in her applying Vaseline to the affected area and continuing the cleaning. I never knew the severity of the burning on my lip until this morning when I woke up with my skin coming off and blisters. I called the office and asked to speak with Kristen so that I could find out what happened exactly so that I would know how to treat it, only to be told by the receptionist that I had to have something on my lip prior to treatment in which I stated wasn't true. I asked to speak with the Dr and was told he was at lunch at 12:30pm. I went to the office and waited until 1:25 only to be told that he also had a meeting. The staff was rude and showed zero empathy for my injury. I am currently seeking counsel on my next decision.

Was welcomed by Megan the hygienist..she was very nice..as the procedure began she made me aware of every thing she was about to do..which made me at ease. I went in for a deep cleaning..but as she got close to the end she noticed .. something was not just right on my last tooth in the upper side? So she consulted with one of the dentist that was available at that time Dr Wen..(sorry if I miss spelled names) he took a look at ex Ray n confirmed that my wisdom tooth was up there pushing on that tooth! At my first consultation when the doctor explains all the work that needs to be done (after x-rays were taken.) Now up to this point 2 dentist has viewed my ex rays n determined that particular tooth needed a root canal ..n if one of the dentist would not have wanted a cleaning first( bc another tooth needed a crown) I would have gotten a root canal on a tooth that soon after would have need to be extracted..after spending all that money for a root canal..so there was a very happy ending to this situation due to a hygienist that went above n beyond her job description. Thank you Megan n Dr Wen, for having a good eye on things lol !!!

I have to say the only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of Rachel. She was very welcoming and professional unlike the others that work there. Seemed they were more into playing games then attending to my needs. She needs a raise and the other ladies need a meeting on customer service.

Out of all of my years going to the dentist, Kristin was the BEST dental hygienist I've ever encountered. She had a great personality and was very knowledgeable about her field. Made me feel comfortable with knowing my next visit will be for fillings.

So I was told I needed 14 fillings.. 14 he blamed it on sodas. (One of the teeth he pointed out was my crown, so I thought there was growth under my crown. NNNOOO he started scraping and calling out where he was going to fill.) Anyway, I said I don't drink sodas he was acting as if he was in a rush and said well I'm telling you what it is your killing your teeth with sodas. So I went to a different doctor outside of Louisiana Dental. 14 fillings turned in 1 filling and a cleaning. If anyone else gets this same problem from this location please see someone outside of this dentistry.

Everyone is so pleasant and super nice at the Laplace location. I was nervous of course, the hygienist and dentist calmed me and, the procedure was quick and easy. No pain.

I had the pleasure of having dental work done by Dr.Palmer, due to my dentist not being available. The experience was great! Normally I wouldn't say something like that when it comes to needles being stuck into my gums. I was able to get dental work and a show while I was there. He is super funny, has a great personality, and great singing voice (along with his dental assistant for that day day)! They gave me a nice little concert while I had work done. He is for sure a people person. I look forward to my next visit with him. Side note: he is also very stylish lol.

I am very pleased with my experience at Louisiana Dental Center in LaPlace. The dental hygienist and the dentist were awesome. I appreciated the friendly and calming atmosphere.
