Frederick Beringer, D.D.S. Dr. Frederick Beringer graduated from Zachary High School (1966), Louisiana Tech (1971) and then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (1974). He received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Beringer feels privileged to have served as a dentist for 40+ years and had the opportunity to help people to better oral health. To see someone achieve a level of health from my dentistry is a powerful responsibility I take seriously. Its all about service, says Dr. Beringer. Dr. Beringer is an intrepid traveler and enjoys photography and golf.
William Chambers, D.D.S. Dr. William Chambers grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and then continued his education at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Bayou District Dental Association. In his spare time, Dr. Chambers enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. His hobbies include wade fishing for speckled trout and waterfowl hunting with his pup.
Merrell Irby Frampton, D.D.S. Orthodontist Dr. Merrell Irby Frampton is a Baton Rouge native and a graduate of St. Josephs Academy. She earned her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University in 2007. At LSU, she was on the Deans List and a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Dr. Frampton went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she was a member of Student Government Association and C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. Dr. Frampton also received her certificate in orthodontics from LSUSD. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. Her hobbies include anything outdoors, cheering on the Tigers, and enjoying the seafood of south Louisiana.
Christina Granier, D.D.S. Dr. Christina Granier was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated from St. Michael the Archangel High School, earned a Bachelor of Science in biology with minors in Spanish and Psychology from Louisiana State University, and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Louisiana Dental Association. She currently resides in Metairie and enjoys spending time with her family, fianc Mason, friends and Australian Shepherd, Max.
Michael Irby, D.D.S. Dr. Irby is a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University, and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Joseph R. Lacoste, Jr., D.D.S. Dr. Lacoste was born and raised in the New Orleans area. After graduating high school from The New Orleans Academy in 1972, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1980.Dr. Lacoste is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He always finds time to be with family and friends, and enjoys fishing and playing music.
Leah Larson, D.D.S. Dr. Leah Larson Has over 10 years of dental experience. She graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2010 and completed a two-year residency and fellowship at the University of Mississippi. She just completed a year-long course in implant dentistry at Louisiana State University. She is married to Baton Rouge restauranteur Stephen Hightower and they share their love for food and three furbabies.
Luis Moncada, D.M.D. Periodontist Dr. Moncada was raised in Miami, Florida, where he attended Florida International University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2002. He then attended Boston University and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduating, he practiced general dentistry in the Boston area and was appointed to the position of Managing Clinical Director of a group practice.His quest for knowledge and understanding of dentistry led him to pursue a three-year highly specialized program of periodontal and implant training at Louisiana State University. During his residency, Dr. Moncada dedicated much of his time to research involving the genetic factors of aggressive periodontal disease, as well as clinical studies involving early placement of dental implants. His research and studies helped shape his belief that periodontics is the foundation of dentistry. Dr. Moncada is committed to providing optimal and comprehensive treatments that restore the mouth to a healthy state free from gum disease.Dr. Moncada is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, and served as Vice President of the Hispanic Dental Association. He and his wife, Jennifer, are active Uptown Lions Club members and enjoy getting involved in projects dedicated to rebuilding and preserving New Orleans music and artistic culture. They are proud to call Louisiana home.
Ryan Riley, D.D.S. Dr. Ryan Riley was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi and attended Louisiana State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Riley enjoys LSU sports and the outdoors.
Anh Simms, D.D.S. Dr. Simms was born in Vietnam and came to the United States with her family when she was young. She graduated from Tara High School, then received her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from LSU in Baton Rouge, and earned her DDS degree from LSU School of Dentistry. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Jason Simms, and enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with family. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Jason Simms, D.D.S. Dr. Jason Simms is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Tara High School and received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. He then attended LSU Health Science Center School of Dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Simms is married to his high school sweetheart and he enjoys fishing and hiking.
Edward Starr, D.D.S. Dr. Eddie Starr is originally from New York City, New York, and moved to Louisiana to attend Tulane University. He graduated with a degree in business management and entrepreneurship and then continued his studies at the LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Starr completed a general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. During his hospital-based residency, Dr. Starr received extensive training in special-needs dentistry and anesthesiology. In his free time, Dr. Starr enjoys cooking, eating and listening to live music.
Chase Toland, D.D.S. Dr. Chase Toland is from Minden in northwestern Louisiana. He graduated from Minden High School and received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. He then went on to earn a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Toland enjoys baseball and is an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

My daughter and her family absolutely love this office. They have seen multiple drs here and have nothing but great things to say about them. My son in law saw Dr Beringer today for a last minute appointment. They worked him in and it was the best experience. He gives it to you straight and is so so nice about it. He will literally answer all your questions before, during and after your visit. If your looking for a really good dentist call them they will take care of you.

I have high anxiety and normally would need to use gas but due to finances I couldn't afford to use it this time. I had three extractions done and couldn't feel a thing. The best work I have ever had done. Thank you Dr. J. Simms and Mary Ann. Y'all are the best.

I haven't been back since I the second time I came here. The dentist had the worst attitude like he didn't want to do his job. He was incredibly rough and I truly believe he removed the wrong tooth a tooth I never had problems with yet the one right next to it was the culprit. Going to the dentist is already a fear for most people but it's just better to go somewhere they actually want to do their job. Oh and also I had a 6 month old when I came and I'm a mom It's never been an issue before when I brought my child with me the ladies wanted to watch her but the dentist said this isn't a daycare. I wish I got his name he was a nightmare I've never met a professional who had such a nasty attitude. I tell everyone run when they see this place

Had a root canal done today and I must say they took care of me. I was a little anxious, and my wife and I had a few questions.. Karen and Ms. Sims were both sweet, and patient. My family and I love our visits here. Alex is hands down the most attentive hygienist I have been to in my life. Her attention to detail and attentiveness to her patients is absolutely outstanding. She is terrific with my 6 and 3 year old children, perfectly explains the importance of hygiene and makes it fun for them (she always gives them the coolest toothbrush and prize). Dr Chambers is very professional, always gives options on treatments plans, and is very knowledgeable. He is fantastic with my children and always a joy to be around. The facility is always spotless and we have never had to wait past our appointment times. Thank you Alex and Dr Chambers for taking such great care of us!

Got multiple fillings done here. They were supposed to do an extraction and canceled on me two hours before the procedure. When going to a new dentist, the new dentist informed me he would have to fix many of the fillings completed due to the fact they were not complete or fit ill to the tooth. The front office and billing staff are very nice, but the dentist seemed armature and didn't really take the time to explain what's going on. During one visit, they cut my tongue and left me alone in the room with gauze in my mouth with no explanation. When they returned and pulled the bloody gauze out my mouth, I asked what was going on and they finally explained they had cut my tongue. Overall, not a good experience.

I went in for a free consultation then received a bill for 95.00. The explanation was " Consultation, other than requesting dentist ". I wasn't notified of any changes. I only spoke to the dentist I made the appointment with . I won't be using them.

I was and still am in excruciating pain daily!!!!! Went in for eval, x-rays and cleaning. Was told I had to have a numerous amount of fillings and 5 extractions. All surgical. Also need a partial to replace the two extractions in the front. I was also told my partial would be put in before I woke up. Scheduled the appointment. Was told I had to pay out of pocket because insurance didn't cover my "surgery" because it's not in an hospital setting. I have jumped through hoops to get insurance to cover it all to find out they didn't do THEIR JOB on their end!!!! And also flat out lied to my face about my partial!!!!! I asked for their referral to an oral surgeon and was told I would have to find my own then call them back to let them know who I needed to use. THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!!! Don't let their friendliness fool you!!! It's all a show!!!

I had a great experience with the staff and the best dentist Dr. Chambers, his assistant Mary Ann. I have always had a very hard time going to the dentist because of past experiences. But these two have made my experience a great one. I would recommend them to anyone especially if you have a fear of a dentist. My experience was great

Visited LA Dental Center in Gonzales, La. after having a real bad dental experience 2 years ago. The bad experience left me literally traumatized so going to the dentist again had me anxious! On my first visit I was immediately put at ease and was very well cared for. From the front desk to the assistant's to the hygienist I saw, I was so pleased and thankful that I gave this office a chance and will be a patient for life!! Go here and you will be so happy you did!
