Karderro D. Dixon, D.D.S. Dr. Karderro Dixon is a bayou boy originally from Houma, Louisiana. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology from LSU in Baton Rouge and continued his education by attending Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. If you didnt see him in the dental office, you can probably catch him doing what he loves most: working out, traveling the world and spending time with his family.
Minh Do, D.D.S. Dr. Minh Do was born and raised on the Westbank. He received his Bachelor of Science from Xavier University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Do is an avid football fan, especially the New Orleans Saints. He enjoys running and lifting weights.
Samir Hamdan, D.D.S. Dr. Samir Hamdan earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Louisiana Dental Association. Dr. Hamdan enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying in shape and traveling. Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life. My mission is to remain up-to-date on new techniques and the latest advances in dentistry to provide high-quality and efficient dental care to all. I have a passion to help others and give back to the community.
Joseph R. Lacoste, Jr., D.D.S. Dr. Lacoste was born and raised in the New Orleans area. After graduating high school from The New Orleans Academy in 1972, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1980. Dr. Lacoste is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He always finds time to be with family and friends, and enjoys fishing and playing music.
Joseph H. Le, D.D.S. Dr. Le was born in Saigon, Vietnam, but he was raised by a Cajun in Basile, Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry from Louisiana State University, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Le enjoys doing charity work and watching football. He also loves his job: I was born to be a dentist, says Dr. Le.
Khanh Luong,D.D.S. Orthodontist Dr. Luong received an undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana Lafayette, then a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He completed a residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Luong enjoys soccer and golf.
Ronald A. Mancuso, Jr., D.D.S. Dr. Ronald Mancuso was born in New Orleans and graduated Jesuit High School before receiving his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1976. Among other positions, he served as Chairman for the New Orleans Dental Conference and had the pleasure of being its representative at several Dental meetings.
He enjoyed practicing family dentistry in his private Metairie practice for many years and continues to always enjoy the people aspect of dentistry. Dr. Mancuso and his wife, Lee, reside in Old Metairie. They have two grown children and five young grandchildren. This brings lots of family fun along with other favorites duck hunting, fishing, cooking the catch of the day and cheering the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. Game days are always favorite days to make a gumbo!
Luis Moncada, D.M.D. Periodontist Dr. Moncada was raised in Miami, Florida, where he attended Florida International University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2002. He then attended Boston University and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. After graduating, he practiced general dentistry in the Boston area and was appointed to the position of Managing Clinical Director of a group practice.His quest for knowledge and understanding of dentistry led him to pursue a three-year, highly-specialized program of Periodontal and Implant training at Louisiana State University. During his residency, Dr. Moncada dedicated much of his time to research involving the genetic factors of aggressive periodontal disease, as well as clinical studies involving early placement of dental implants. His research and studies helped shape his belief that Periodontics is the foundation of dentistry. Dr. Moncada is committed to providing optimal and comprehensive treatments that restore the mouth to a healthy state that is free from gum disease.Dr. Moncada is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, Louisiana Dental Association, and American Dental Association, and he has served as Vice President of the Hispanic Dental Association. He and his wife, Jennifer, are active Uptown Lions Club members, and they enjoy getting involved in projects that are dedicated to rebuilding and preserving New Orleans music and artistic culture. They are proud to call Louisiana home.
Quynh Nguyen, D.D.S. Born and raised in New Orleans East, Dr. Nguyen is of Vietnamese descent. He graduated from McMain High School and earned an undergraduate degree from Xavier University. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Nguyen is family-oriented, and he enjoys meeting people, hanging out with friends, and forming lasting relationships. His hobbies include building computers, and watching Saints football and LSU sports.

Extremely nice staff, very clean bathroom, ample parking available. I drive 30 minutes to get here even though there are plenty of dentist offices between my house and there because of the staff.

From the beginning this has been an ordeal. I finally decide to get my teeth pulled and get dentures. My first dentist doesn't take Patients on my off days. So I go with second choice. He said he injected my gums with Novacane. Well whatever he injected me with I felt everything. I screamed I cried I felt the pain he says no that cannot be.. well it was. I paid for everything upfront. Today I go to get my impressions they tell me. I owe $1097. How I asked I paid for everything upfront. They came back 10 minutes later oh we are sorry you owe us $ 41.96, there again how when I paid everything upfront. Oh well you see ma'am we incorrectly charged you the wrong amount. This is the correct amount. Not my fault . Ok don't worry about it. Then they come tell me that I require a surgery to smooth out my gums. Will this nightmare ever end?

They pulled out 3 of my teeth when i was 14 and only two of them grew back. I am now 16 and it's still not there. I will never have one of my teeth bc they pulled out a good adult tooth. They said it was a baby tooth, but nope. A while after they made it seem like i was never a patient.DON'T RECOMMEND going there. This was probably racially motivated.

Would not recommend not at all. No real solutions. Personally I'm not a dentist but if pulling teeth is your only solution then maybe it's time to go work for someone else for a while before practicing. Ridiculous revolving door. Nothing but bad experiences will never go back.

Dr. Nguyen was really great. He has a weird way of shaking my cheek when he's doing the numbing shot that I've never had another dentist do before. Weird at first but then I realized he had finished the numbing shot and I didn't feel a thing. GENIUS! I told him he should tell all the other dentists. Kelsey was his assistant and she made sure my son got to the other side of the building to his appointment and she was really sweet. They took really good care of me. Also I watched Kelsey change gloves probably three times. Dr Nguyen probably twice. My eyes were closed the majority of the time because I have a phobia of the dentist so it was probably more than that. That's really cool because most people don't realize how much cross contamination actually occurs with gloves. Also my son saw Dr. Friedman and he was really great. The red headed nurse did lie straight to our faces and say they were out of balloons (that's why four stars who does that?) but the really nice lady at reception made sure to go grab him one. My son used to go to bippos and those people were horrible and almost caused him a severe phobia and since we've been using Louisiana dental center in boutte he's gotten a lot better. Thanks so much y'all!

Slow as ever. Been here since 10:30am for a 11oclock appmnt an it's now 11:49. An still sitting here waiting. The Kenner office is just better in my opinion.

Im scared of the dentist no lie.. I Was in so much pain..came here.. they saw me the same day.. they helped me so much.Dr Hamdan did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. Everything was quick and painless. Thank you so much Dr.Hamdan. I will be back.

Dr. Hamdan and Nadia were patient and took very good care of me, which was a big deal considering i get very nervous being at a dentist office. I will be back for my dentistry needs and would highly recommend them to anyone else!

I felt pain around my tooth that in the past was treated with amalgam filler. I have made an appointment here with Dr. Nguyen and I was diagnosed with jaw discomfort and was recommended to use nighttime guards. Dr. Nguyen made me feel like he has a great knowledge and is down to earth. I'm glad that I have found trustworthy dentist, quiet near me that I can feel comfortable with.

I needed my wisdom tooth pulled after being in such pain....I found this place and so glad I did...Dr. Hamdan was amazing and so was Vanessa....I would highly recommend this place to anyone in this area

Make sure you make your appointment early because they don't call you back for about 2 hours after your appointment or just walk in because walk ins get serviced first it seems like. They like to make money off your insurance, watch for capping baby teeth and pulling many teeth at once. Yeah don't come here.

This is the best Dentist office that I have ever been too, walk in on two separate occasions for tooth extraction had no pain what so ever! The staff are extremely friendly, my dentist was absolutely amazing, he joked and talked with me, making me feel so much more comfortable, (going in for tooth extraction is nerve-racking to me) but they made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The environment was clean and welcoming. The music is always fantastic!! I love this place and will definitely be back!! Highly recommend.

Dr. Hamdan is the absolute best! Fillings at my previous dentist were often painful. Dr. Hamdan always makes sure I'm comfortable and actually explains every step before he takes it. I love that bc as someone who doesn't work in the dental field, the terms don't always make sense. Not to mention he has extracted a wisdom tooth on me and it was the easiest thing ever!

Highly recommend Dr. Hamdan !! Chair side manors are impeccable! He as well as his assistant helped me calm my anxiety and fear of needles during an extraction. I felt little to no pain!!

The ortho staff is great but the staff behind the desk are lazy and unwilling to do there job. I was told that they wouldn't call my insurance company because it is a third party provider and they would be put on hold for too long. Now we have been coming here for over 2 years associated with my daughter's braces and have another that will be needing braces soon. Unfortunately I think we will be going elsewhere for him. It's a shame the people that actually do the work have to suffer the consequences for the unprofessional staff at the front desk.
