J. Ellis Bernard, D.D.S. Dr. J. Ellis Bernard graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2001. Following dental school, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Bernards first position as a dental practitioner was with Louisiana Dental Center in Covington. He has spent most of his remaining career providing high quality of care in Bogalusa. Now that I am returning to Louisiana Dental Center in Bogalusa, it is truly a great homecoming. I feel like my life and career have come full circle, and I believe this is where I belong. Adam Berthelot, DDS Dr. Adam Berthelot grew up in Chalmette, Louisiana, and now resides in Mandeville, Louisiana. He graduated from Brother Martin High School and earned his Bachelors degree from Louisiana State University. Dr. Berthelot worked as a microbiologist for Domino Sugar Refining before pursuing his career in dentistry. He graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Berthelot is married, and has two daughters. He enjoys fishing, hunting, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
Roy Cantrelle, D.D.S. Dr. Cantrelle was born in Metairie, Louisiana, and grew up in Chalmette. After graduating from Holy Cross High School and completing undergraduate coursework at Louisiana State University, Dr. Cantrelle earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2002. In addition to golfing, running and avidly supporting the LSU football team, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Ann-Marie Christen, D.D.S. Dr. Ann-Marie Christen is originally from Maurice, LA. She attended The University of Louisiana in Monroe where she earned a bachelor of science in Biology. Dr. Christen graduated from LSU Dental school in New Orleans with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She lives with her husband Luke in Covington, LA. In her spare time, Ann-Marie enjoys spending time with her dog, Spur, and traveling the world with her husband.
Pamela Ponce de Len Daigle, D.D.S. Dr. Pamela Daigle was born and raised in Lima, Peru. In 2003, she successfully obtained her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree at Universidad de San Matin de Porres School of Dentistry in Lima, Peru. After relocating to the United States, she began working as a dental assistant in South Florida where she met her husband Casey who is originally from Opelousas, Louisiana. They have been married for 13 years and have a 2-year-old miniature schnauzer named Trout who is very sweet and energetic. Shortly after Dr. Daigle and her husband moved to Louisiana, she attended LSU where she obtained a Bachelor of Science. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Daigle is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Since making Louisiana her home, Dr. Daigle and her husband love to spend their free time exploring and supporting small local businesses. Ashley Lestrade, D.D.S. Dr. Ashley Lestrade is originally from Fairhope, Alabama, but has settled in Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, graduating in 2006 as a University Medalist with a 4.0 GPA. Dr. Lestrade subsequently earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Orthodontic credentials from LSU Dental School. She received the International College of Dentists Leadership Award as a graduating senior dental student and the Jerome Hebert Award for Achievement as a first-year resident. Dr. Lestrade is married and has two daughters. She enjoys spending her spare time playing with the children and going to the zoo.
Samuel P. Miano, Jr., D.D.S. Dr. Miano is a lifelong Louisiana resident who lives in Mandeville. He graduated from De La Salle High School in New Orleans, earned an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
Tucker Rudisill, D.D.S. Dr. Tucker Rudisill is originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas, majoring in biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2021. Dr. Rudisill chose dentistry because he loves having a direct impact on improving his patients quality of life. His hobbies include exercising, traveling, learning about new cultures and cheering on New Orleans Saints, Arkansas and LSU (when they dont play Arkansas) football.
Justin Wu, D.D.S. Dr. Wu was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He received his bachelors degree in chemical engineering at the University of Kansas and his dental degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Wichita State University. Dr. Wu has an identical twin brother and enjoys golf, college basketball and football, reading, flying, and playing with his dogs. He is also strongly committed to continuing education in dentistry.

Monique is horrible, has a horrible attitude, no patient care manners, lacks trauma patient etiquette, and lacks tact. When a patient chart reads childhood dental trauma... do not greet your patient by blaming them for their pain and then start an insurance selling point on top of an already triggered patient with a restricted budget that cannot include insurance. I already don't want to be in your office to begin with and it took a lot just to show up. Don't argue with a patient with an abscessed tooth about what works for pain management. I can assure you that patient has tried everything and is literally begging for relief after 24-48 hours and has tried every concoction known to man for relief. You don't get to offend someone three times in less than 3 minutes and then call them "sassy". Spent 4 hours in here and left in the exact same condition I walked in with a tooth that needs extracted and an appointment two months away. I was billed for an exam and I'm pretty sure no one even opened my mouth except the sweet girl that did my X-rays. $100 and I got zero relief, they didn't even numb it, didn't care.

The best experience! LA Dental Center in Bogalusa is the best place to go! Treatment was wonderful and painless! The front desk staff was accommodating. The entire staff was helpful, professional, and friendly. I enjoyed everyone's stellar efforts in making me feel most comfortable. I'd like to send the entire staff my appreciation! I highly recommend!

I'm a patient here for a while now but as they advertise on tv is not like they said. They advertise that they will accommodate you but they lie because they falsely advertised and I have been trying to change my appointment to were they will help me with my job I'm working 4 days so I ask if my day could be change to a Friday the person said no the ortho can change her days but I have to missed mine.

Called ahead of time then drove 30 miles in the rain to be told we probably won't have time to see you. You can hang out in Bogalusa for a couple hours and check back but we're only here until 1:00. Great news with a throbbing toothache on a Saturday morning that's kept you up all night!

Recently moved to area and searching for my dental "fit" . After visiting anther highly recommended office in Bogalusa with poor outcomes for me, I was recommended to La Dental Center and more specifically to Dr Bernard. I am a RN of many years. I was highly impressed with this place. It was very clean, the staff was extremely nice, professional and caring. I can not say enough about Dr. Bernard and his assistant of that day. Yes it took a little while to get an appointment but was well worth the wait. And since I had an appointment, once there I did not wait long to see Dr Bernard. He was very knowledgeable, professional , explained everything ( both pros and cons) and spent a lot of time with me. I could tell he was VERY busy. But he still took his time with both explanation and actual procedure. I have found my dental home and dentist. Thanks to everyone at La Dental Center.

Dr . Berthelot and his assistant were phenomenal!! I was so nervous but they made me feel comfortable and at ease.I highly recommend Dr Berthelot and the entire staff for any dental needs you may have.

Went to Louisiana Dental in Bogalusa for a cleaning and had an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and Dr. Bernard was great. Will definitely be returning for future dental work.
