Emily Guarisco, D.D.S. Dr. Emily Guarisco was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended St. Josephs Academy prior to earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from LSU. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Guarisco enjoys playing tennis, baking, spending time with family and friends and cheering on the LSU Tigers!
Sean Owens, DDS Dr. Sean Owens is originally from St. Gabriel, Louisiana, and is married with two sons and a daughter. He earned an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2006 and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2011. He then completed a hospital-based General Dental Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham-Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2012. In 2016, Dr. Owens completed a 300 hour 1-year Dental Implant Externship with Stony Brook University of New York/Dental XP. Dr. Owens has varied interests in the field of dentistry, including dental implant surgery and site development, third molar exodontia, periodontal surgery, and IV Sedation.
Currently, Dr. Owens serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the LSU General Practice Residency. He is faculty and co-clinical director for the LSU Dental Implant Continuum. He is also a Board Member for the Louisiana Academy of Continuing Dental Education. Dr. Owens has served as President for the Louisiana Academy of General Dentistry, and for the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. Recently, he was awarded the Kathy Uebel Scholarship Award from the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration. He also has earned Fellowship Status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and is a member of the Baton Rouge Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association (where he currently serves on the Board of Directors), the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Randy Roth, D.D.S. Orthodontist Dr. Randy Roth was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry and completed his orthodontic residency there as well. In his free time, Dr. Roth enjoys working on cars, fishing and spending time with his family and dog.
Edwin Buddy Trauth IV, DDS Dr. Trauth was born and raised in Boutte, LA, and graduated from Hahnville High School. After high school, he attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, earning a bachelors degree in biology as well as minors in chemistry and psychology. He continued his education at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSUSD) where he was a member of many organizations. In order to stay up to date on all the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Trauth maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association and the Louisiana Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Trauth enjoys fishing, hunting and everything else the Sportsmans Paradise has to offer. He and his wife, Abby, are avid Tiger fans and love spending time with family and friends. They are active residents of the community, participating in charitable and fundraising events whenever possible.
Ashley Vu, D.D.S. Dr. Ashley Vu was born and raised in New Orleans. Being a city girl at heart, she graduated from St. Marys Dominican High School then continued her education at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned her bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she also became a Tigers fan (Geaux Tigers!). During her time in dental school, Dr. Vu was part of the American Student Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and participated in mission trips to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. She is currently a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Vu is a foodie that loves to travel. She enjoys going to yoga and spin classes to exercise and is a huge Starbucks lover!

Now that I finally have a chance to leave a review. I would like to say. Dr. Owens is AMAZING! He entertained me the whole time I was getting my root canal done. He has such an amazing and positive attitude! Keep doing what you're doing Dr. Owens! I will definitely recommend him to family and friends:)

Dr. Owens is a wonderful dentist. Very compassionate with his patients. Front desk staff are always friendly. Clean and inviting environment. Definitely recommend Louisiana Dental Center.

They are listed as an Aetna Medicaid provider, but was told that as of 7/22/22 will no longer accept it.

I am so happy I decided to switch to here. I had a dentist who was fantastic, but it became too difficult to drive almost an hour to get to her for just one way. The entire staff has been professional and kind. They explain everything going on with your dental health and with billing. I have been twice and both times I had no issues. I even told my husband to go, which he also said the experience was "not bad" for somebody who hates the dentist. I would definitely recommend going here!

I have medicaid insurance...my tooth was hurting me so badly I could cry...they x-rayed and told me I needed 3 teeth pulled..they told me ONLY AFTER they did xrays and made me wait in waiting room for 1hour in pain that my insurance did not cover what I needed done. They knew this before they did the xrays..but wanted to be compensationed for the xrays because I heard them talking behind my head....I was hurting so badly and it was almost funny to them that I was hurting because they took their TIME WASTING MY TIME AND WATCHING ME IN PAIN...I was told in order to get at least ONE of the 3 teeth I needed pulled I would need to pay $1000.00 DOWN OR 800 AT THE LEAST!!!..and the rest later..I did not have that amount right then..I even asked if I could pay half now due to pain and half later..I was gonna use all the money I had to pay them because I was really hurting...the dentists there refused...THEY SENT ME OUT OF THE OFFICE STILL IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN..DID NOT TRY TO HELP OR WORK WITH ME TO FIND A PAYMENT OPTION..ONE YOUNG LADY BEHIND THE COUNTER TRIED BECAUSE I WAS HURTING REALLY BADLY..AND SHE WAS TOLD TO BE QUIET BY HER COWORKER. I DID NOT HAVE THAT AMOUNT BUT I COULD HAVE PAID SOMETHING VERY CLOSE TO IT. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. I WILL ALSO REPORTING THIS TO WHOMEVER I CAN BECAUSE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE TREATED THIS WAY!!! ESPECIALLY WITH A TOOTHACHE THAT COULD CAUSE INFECTION AND KILL YOU.. LOUISIANA DENTAL IN ADDIS LA,

Hands down one of the best dentists I've ever been too. The staff is always so kind and friendly and I've only ever had good experiences. Plus Dr.Owens is very thorough and informative with what he will be doing. The whole staff is just kind from when you walk in, to being taken back and when you leave. Highly recommend!

These people are the worst. The office manager tires to talk to you like you are small because she is a manager. They don't do what you ask and charge your insurance like you received that service when you call them out about it they make every excuse in the book and talk about what you could've done when you were there but the option wasn't given when the situation occurred. My husband will NOT be back at this place

The manager Kate is extremely rude. Yelled at me when I couldn't bring my child in due to my work schedule. Accused me of being of bad parent. Single moms need to stay away from this establishment

Dr. Truth n Dr. Cooper , they were the best dentist n assistant. Place was very clean n very family workers n they listen to the best music. I would recommend this place to all my friends n family. They r the dentist I ever been to .
