Vanessa celebrates her 20th anniversary this year as a dental hygienist. She is passionate about her profession as she loves working with people, and she tailors treatment to each persons healthcare needs. Her patients enjoy her gentle touch and warm personality.Having grown up on a farm in Africa, where wildlife was a part of her life, Vanessa loves the outdoors and nature.In her free time, she likes to paddle board, camp, go crabbing and hiking with her husband, 2 boys and chocolate lab Moose.
Teaya has experience working on complex cases in a prosthodontic practice.Combining these skills with her cheerful demeanor and professional manners, Teaya sets patients at ease as soon as they are in the chair, and assists Dr. Cheung seamlessly.Outside of work, Teaya is an avid hiker, kayaker and a good cook.She is also dog-mom to Nike and Otis.
Greta had been working in a neighboring office for 30 years before joining us in 2020.As her practitioner retired, Greta transitioned to our practice bringing with her her extensive experience in dentistry and patient care.With this background Greta providesfor our patients a level of professionalism, personable care and expertise that everyone appreciates.In her spare time Greta loves camping!
14 years with our practice, Shilo brings strong focus to our hygiene program. She is committed to providing andeducating our patients with top quality dental care. In her free time, Shilo is a dedicated mom, a runner and a Crossfit athlete.
Dayna worked with Dr. C for almost 10 years, and moved out of state. She has recently returned to help us on Mondays and Tuesdays. Dayna likes singing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
A recent arrival to our office and to the field of dentistry, Jennifer is the first person to greet you as you walk into our office. She enjoys the challenge of helping patients find the answers they need, and is always ready to lend a helping hand where needed. Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, her two silly cats, and gardening.
One of our two Patient Co-ordinators, Debbie began her 20+ year dental career as an assistant but quickly moved to the front desk where she loves helping patients. She is a true sunshine lover and enjoys spending time on the Oregon/California beaches. She also enjoys time with her two grown daughters, her three kitties and Australian Shepherd, Harley.
Joining the practice in late 2021 is Dr. Cheungs 4th golden retriever Bodhi. Seen here at 2 1/2 months old and not quite understanding whats going on most of the time, Bodhi works part-time and is a fast learner. He enjoys chasing leaves, chewing sticks and visits from patients.

My first official Dr's appointment since the pandemic began. The Dr. and his staff were very thoughtful, kind and safe this afternoon. I was impressed with the measure of safety and professionalism. Our family have been patients for 11 years.

I've been going here for probably 25 years, and though I've moved farther away, I still come back to Dr. Cheung's office to this day! They're very nice there, and though I put it off sometimes, when I finally do call to make an appointment, it's always super easy. Talking with my friends about their dentists, I'm always surprised that they don't really know much about him/her, and about the care they receive. My experience at this office is always positive, and I always leave with my questions answered. Each time I go, I look forward to the time I get to chat with the hygienist (usually Jill for me, who's the best!), as well as the time I can spend with the dentist to ask questions and see how I'm doing. He's honest and very knowledgeable, but takes the time to see my thoughts and understand of my teeth as well. I think the thing that keeps me going back is that I've seen a few other dentists in emergencies, but it's never been as positive nor as helpful. I work in healthcare, and being an informed patient about my behaviors and ways I can be healthier are very important to me. I get all these things from Dr. Cheung and his staff!!

I have gone to Dr. Cheung for years and am very happy being a patient of his! I also bring my small children who love seeing Dr. Cheung and will ask when their next appointment is. The office staff is friendly and we always feel welcome. They are always on time with our appointments, which is appreciated when you wait with small children! A great experience all around!

Dr. Cheung and his entire staff are like family! I had bad (and I mean really bad) dental experiences in my history. I came to Dr. Cheung afraid of everything and anything. Through his patience, gentleness and understanding, I am now relaxed in the dental chair. I also credit his staff with helping me get over my dental phobias. Orginally, I could not even have my teeth cleaned without the nitrous oxide. I am so far past that state that it is a miracle. Every person on that staff is super professional and supportive. I would not think of going to anyone else for my dental needs. I heartily encourage anyone to seek the services of Dr. Cheung and his staff for all your dental needs. I have had veneers, fillings, crowns and other procedures performed by Dr. Chueng. And I've never had any problems. Thank you, Dr. Chueng and staff!

I've been going to Dr. Cheung for 27 years (as does my entire extended family). He and his wonderful staff make dental visits no big deal. In fact, I always feel so accomplished after going and the whole time I know I am in great hands. Everyone there is like family. My new husband has had some terrible experiences with dentists but came back from his visit very impressed with how gentle, helpful and easy the experience was.

We've been going to Dr. Cheung's Dental Clinic for 28 years and wouldn't go anywhere else, even though we now live 62 miles away. (We also used him when we lived 183 miles away in Chelan, Washington.) Our girls have moved away now, but often say they miss the family atmosphere of Dr. Cheung and his staff. We've been through several dental crises over the years including one daughter having her front teeth knocked out in an accident. Dr. Cheung and his staff's calm manner and professionalism made this catastrophe much more bearable. Thank you Dr. Cheung, Melanie, Robin, Linda, Jill, Shilo, and Shirley for many years of wonderful care.

I moved to the NW about 18 years ago and need to establish good contacts with my team to provide me the care I wanted. I had been going with someone just long enough to feel as if the hyginist was under the gun and asked me 4 time at one appointment if I wanted x-rays or to get my teeth whitened even though it says in my chart no whitening due to the nature of one of my teeth. I soon found Dr. Cheung and have been pleased with his work and the assistance from his staff for now 5 years. I have had some extensive work performed there and I feel good that nothing better is out there. Thank you Louis and the entire staff for supporting me on my path of wellness.

I recommend Dr. Louis K. Cheung and his dental team to anyone who needs dental advice and help. I have had the good fortune to have had Dr. Cheung do my complex restorative dentistry for the past 10 years. The quality of his work is incredible and artfully done. Dr. Cheung is very professional, patient and through in offering me information about the procedures involved in the various dental choices. He and his staff take the extra care to make sure you are comfortable while you are in the dental chair. Jill Gallagher is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. She is experienced, knowledgeable, skilled , plus very gentle. The great front office staff is pleasant, helpful, and keeps the schedule running on time. I love my dental experience with Dr. Cheung's office.

OK, I know what you are thinking, how can you be that excited about Dentistry. Simple, when you find a dentist that continues to exceed your expectations and is truly painless you should tell others. Not to say that a little pressure or scrapping (during cleaning) is the most soothing feeling in the world, however, not painful at all. My wife and I have been visiting Dr. Cheung's office for more than a dozen years and would recommend the team to anyone who needs a new Dentist. Friendly and Caring are attributes found throughout his entire team.

A recent visit to Dr Cheung's office reminded me of the current yacht races off the coast of California that form the 'America Cup' series. Imagine a small sailing boat bobbing about on choppy water, and alongside the pride of the American fleet effortlessly cutting through the sea with grace and style. For six decades I have been used to UK Dentistry which strives, like the small sailing boat, to overcome adversity and weather the storm. The level of professionalism, including patient care and attention from every member of Dr Cheung's experienced team, ensures that the highest standards are delivered in a friendly and relaxed environment.
