Dr. Rubino was born in Lynchburg, Virginia and grew up in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Dr. Rubino has been in practice since 1991 after completing his periodontal training at Temple University School of Dentistry. During his periodontal program he received formal training in implant dentistry. In 1989, Dr. Rubino received his degree in dental medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry as well. While in dental school Dr. Rubino received several awards including the American Academy of Periodontology Annual Student Award and J. George Coslet Excellence in Periodontics Award. He was also regularly elected into Omicron Kappa Epsilon, dentistrys national honor society which recognizes exemplary scholarship and character. Prior to dental school, Dr. Rubino was a deans list student at Ursinus College and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry, minoring in business administration. He has been practicing in the Phoenixville area since 1996.
Dr. Rubino enjoys being involved in several dental associations. He is a past-president of the Dental Society of Chester County and Delaware County and the Philadelphia Society of Periodontology. He also served as president of the Temple Dental Alumni Society. Currently, Dr. Rubino serves as the Vice-President of the Pennsylvania Society of Periodontists. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Pennsylvania Society of Periodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration and Dental Society of Chester County and Delaware County as well as the Second District Valley Forge Dental Association.
Dr. Rubino has held teaching positions at Albert Einstein Medical Center- Division of Periodontics and Harcum College Dental Hygiene Department. He has lectured on topics including, non-surgical periodontics, periodontal regeneration and smoking and periodontal disease.

Dr. Rubino and his staff have been nothing but wonderful. I've been going to his office for a couple of years now. They've taken care of my gums and teeth and general oral care beautifully. Their attention to detail in their work is fantastic! I actually look forward to going to their office 2 or 3 times a year because my teeth are so smooth and clean when I leave. They do whatever it takes to get the job accomplished. I highly recommend Dr. Rubino and his entire staff.

Had my first visit with Dr. Rubino today. I first want to acknowledge how nice his staff was. Dr Rubio was very thorough and explained details which I could understand. Only my first visit but will be back for a treatment plan that he will recommend. So far I highly recommend Dr Rubino and his staff to those looking for a professional Periodontist.

They explained every aspect of the work I need, the cost, and the insurance coverage. After the exam, Dr. Rubino explained the procedure I'll be getting and he made it very clear. I'm looking forward to going back for my next appointment.

Dr. Rubino has been my periodontist for many years. I had not seen him for 6 months because of the Covid 19 situation. Everything leading up to the appointment and the appointment itself were clear, professional and in my opinion, also as a health care provider, extremely safe. I have No hesitation in recommending Dr. Rubino as a periodontist. He is no nonsense, does excellent work and has saved my teeth and gums from serious periodontal disease.
