Dr. Sam Wolfe was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He attended Boise State University where he studied biology and chemistry. Dr. Wolfe received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry. There, Sam was awarded the American Dental Society of Anesthesiologys Horace Wells Award, as well as being inducted in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. Following dental school, Dr. Wolfe and his wife, Savannah, moved to the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. There, Dr. Wolfe practiced all aspects of family and cosmetic dentistry.
In February of 2022, Dr. Wolfe and Savannah moved to the San Luis Obispo area, joining Los Osos Family Dentistry. They are excited to be back on the West Coast, especially due to Savannah being a California native!
Dr. Wolfe performs all aspects of general dentistryand is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Central Coast Dental Society, and the AmericanDental Society of Anesthesiology.He further continues to complete continuingeducation courses from topics ranging from minimal/oral sedation toInvisalign.
Dr. Wolfe believes what makes a great dentist and dental experience is putting patients at ease, educating them, and providing the highest quality dental work. Described as caring, easy-going, and compassionate, his favorite part of the day is getting the chance to better know his patients and their dental needs.
Taylor has been living on the Central Coast for nearly two decades enjoying the ocean views from her Grover Beach home. Currently a student working towards her business administration degree, Taylor spends most of her off time growing her successful local catering business, PourBoys Bartenders. Otherwise, catch her out and about hiking our beautiful Central Coast trails with her two adventure pups, Delilah and Sugar.
Taylors personal objective is to work in close relation with our patients, ensuring that they have had a great experience with our business as a whole. You can find her working hard in the front office, answering questions and phone calls alike. She loves working around people who truly care for other people, saying its great to have a team that feels likefamily, but its even better to see that patients are treated likefamilytoo.
Marj just recently moved to SLO from the Sacramento area. She has been in the dental field since 1987. Previously a certified Dental Technician for the first 15 years of her career, Marj decided to become a registered Dental Assistant and has been for the last 20 years.
Marj likes to stay busy playing softball and volleyball whenever she gets the opportunity and enjoys being at the beach, boating, and spending quality time with her family. She has two children aged 29 and 19, and is Grandma to a 12 and an 8 year old.
Our patients are a priority to Marj, her objective is to help them feel at ease when they visit our Dental Spa and keep them wanting to come back. Its important to her to be able to form lasting relationships with patients and create a sense of community and trust.
Lisa has almost 35 years' experience in thedentalfield. She started indentalsales, then became a RegisteredDentalAssistant. Her love of thedentalfield led her to further her education, graduating from Cabrillo College with a degree inDentalHygiene.
Lisa has experience with all types of patients; however, one of her greatest passions is working with the fearful patient. She had her own traumatic experience as a child, so she has a special empathy for others with a similar background.
She's a Central Coast native, born and raised, married to her husband Richard, also a Central Coast native. They live on a small ranch in Creston where she is deeply involved in her community. She's a part of the Creston Women's Club, the Creston Classic Rodeo, the Creston Garden Club and she's a member of the Lumina Alliance (previously known as RISE) Events Team.

I am new to the area as well as recently retired. My dentist of 20+ years retired AND Covid hit. So of course, as luck would have it, I break a tooth. What to do?! Dr. Sam's (as he calls himself) office staff put me on his schedule the very next day. Taylor and Margie greeted me as if I was a long-time patient! Great enthusiasm and energy, while maintaining a professional attitude. Dr. Sam introduced himself as Sam, putting me at ease with his positive energy. The entire process from temporary crown to complete exam and cleaning felt easy and reassuring. I do not yet have dental insurance, so all of this was out of my pocket. I gladly paid for such a professional, yet personal experience.

The staff was so friendly. The dentist did a great job reattaching a crown. They fit me in quickly and the service was excellent!

Sweetest staff ever! Was about 5 minutes late to my appointment and instead of rushing me and seeming upset bc I was late they welcomed me in and were polite as can be! Most definitely a place of comfort and good work! Looking forward to returning -

I highly recommend this office! Dr. T is such a great dentists! The whole staff is so warm and friendly, which creates such a nice comfy atmosphere. I got a filling done and unfortunately part of it chipped/came out (not because of the filling work, but of its corner edge location on my molar). The office got me in quickly, and Dr. T did an amazing job fixing it! Very professional and top-tier patient service in immediately letting me know there would be no charge and Dr. T was super apologetic as he felt so bad that I had to come back in. I was the last appointment and so he and the staff were there almost an hour after they close, yet never rushed a thing. In fact, afterwards Dr. T took even more time in talking teeth with me..you know all the random why and best hygiene kinda questions one may have lol. Anyway - you should have these guys look after your smile

I love how the hygienist offered numbing gel for my teeth cleaning. I hadn't gone to the dentist for years because simple teeth cleanings were excruciating. I have overly sensitive teeth. Cavities were filled perfect, gently, and blend perfect with my teeth color. This dentist has the highest tech gear. Obviously well schooled. This dentist also cares about how your teeth LOOK (most important to me). Lastly, I love how the receptionist utilizes all levels of communication including texting (my favorite). I've easily canceled and rescheduled cleanings via a few simple texts. I'm a dentist snob. I won't just go to any dentist. This place is great.

Who likes going to the dentist? Not many. But thankfully Dr. Jerry is one of a kind. Unbelievable dentist who really cares about his clients. I've been going to Dr. Jerry for years with unfortionately a mouthful of cavities. Every time he makes me feel comfortable and remembers what we chatted about the last time I was in. Very personable and makes your dental experience as enjoyable as it possibly can be. :) If you're looking for a dentist, he's the best one on the central coast!

Just had my crown put on after an implant. Feels great! It's wonderful to get everything done there and not been sent out to another doctor. Dr. Jerry Yu is the best dentist I have been to. Previously, I went to a different dentist and wasn't satisfied with the all around service. I am so happy I switched. The whole staff is amazing. Love the texts reminders and the relaxed environment. I highly recommend Dr. Yu!
