Dr. William Neff has been practicing general dentistry since 1991 bringing 30 years of gentle, experienced dental care in Carlsbad, La Costa, and the surrounding communities. As a family-owned and family-centered practice, Dr. Neff is committed to helping you with all your dental and oral needs to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile.
Dr. Neff tries to ensure each and every dental visit is an anxiety-free and comfortable process. From toddlers to adults, any stressors are effectively addressed to help each patient improve and maintain their dental health and overall well-being. I understand everyone has dental phobias and I am committed to providing quality and gentle dental care in a compassionate manner, creating a setting that reduces or eliminates fears.
Dr. William Neff obtained his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1982 and obtained his Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan in 1986.
Alongside his profession, family and outdoor activities are a passion of his. Outside of the office, you may find him rooting for his favorite baseball team, rollerblading, mountain biking, or skiing.
Dr. Neff is a very nice person and also a great dentist. He (personally!) cleans my teeth, which is rare these daysDr. Neff and his staff are very professional and provide personal, kind service. When I needed a cavity drilled, Dr. Neff worked efficiently and painlessly as possible whew I generally dont like dental work! I have recommended Dr. Neffs office to friends without reservation. I will recommend Los Coches Dentistry to all my family & friends! Moved to CA in December 2021. It's hard to find reliable and good doctors, dentists, stylists, etc... Los Coches Dentistry is a 50 min drive for me but I went anyway because they were recommended to my husband. I will gladly make the drive when I need to go to the dentist again. The staff were polite & professional. Dr. Neff gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had. Very happy to have found our new dentist here in CA.

Dr Neff is an incredibly good dentist, he is definitely a straight shooter, and he knows his stuff! His staff is friendly, courteous and professional.

I had an absolutely great experience at Dr. Neff's office. His dental assistant was so friendly during my xrays and Dr. Neff gave me such a great understanding of how our teeth work and what I have to do take care of them better. The lady's up front who set my next appointment were amazing and helped me chose the whitening solution that was fit for me and my pocket. Absolutely loved my whole appointment.

Love this place!! First, the staff is sooo nice, sweet and so friendly. Oh, and did I mention professional? Yep, that too. Dr. Neff is by far the best dentist around! He is knowledgeable, gentle, caring and incredibly nice. I've known him for years and can honestly say I'll never change dentists. He's a keeper!

If most people are like me they dread having to find a new dentist but boy did I get lucky with Dr Neff. He was recommended to me by a friend who had the same dental insurance and I was impressed from day one! First everyone on his staff was friendly and I want to give a special shout out to Gilda who on several occasions was able to get me in for an emergency visit. Second Dr Neff has a friendly demeanor and took his time to throughly review my dental history and recommendations with me. On 2 teeth when others had given no recommendations he didn't and made several that can potentially extend the life of these 2 teeth! In addition Dr Neff personally called to follow up on more than one occasion after I saw 2 other specialists regarding an issue I was experiencing and that also impressed. He seems to have a busy practice yet not too busy to care about his patients. In todays word, THAT really impresses me. Thank You Dr Neff and staff.

Finest Dentist I've used. Why, Bill is very patient and spends the time to explain things he's doing. Dr. Neff actually assisted with my teeth cleaning as well. I've never seen a Dentist do that! Very friendly staff and clean modern office.
