By far this is the best dental practice I've gone to. I have been going to Lorton Dental Care for years. Dr. Nguyen's calm way and demeanor as well her gentle bedside manner has taken years of dental fears away. She does a great job in making me feel comfortable and anxiety free which is VERY important to me. The entire team does a great job from the friendly front desk staff to their hygienist. They take really good care of me from accommodating my busy schedule to complicated process/procedures and then for keeping up and cleaning. I love this place and will never go to any other dental practice except for this one.

Long story, but I feel it's important to share to prevent others from going through what I did. In August 2018, "Dr." Leal gave me a crown without cement (she seated it to verify the fit but couldn't get it back off) and told me it was "fine." Within a week I was noticing a foul smell while using my Waterpik. I scheduled an immediate appointment to have it checked out, and again, I was told all was "fine." About 2 months later, and with no change in my dental regimen, I started getting tonsil stones, which I had never experienced before. At my next routine appointment (6 months later), Dr. Nguyen attempted to remove the crown, couldn't, but told me it was not a problem. The smell and tonsil stones continued. At the following routine appointment (1 year later), I saw Dr. Leal. Upon examination, she told me I had 12 cavities. Twelve! In the span of 6 months. I told Dr. Leal that I thought the crown might be causing issues, and she casually dismissed the idea, stood up, and left. I was shocked at the display of bedside manner in response to earnest concern of one of her patients. Shortly after that visit, I went to Aesthetic Dentistry of Lorton for a second opinion. The doctor there told me crowns NEED cement to prevent bacteria growth, and that Lorton Station should have removed it by cutting it off and putting on a new one. In addition, the 12 fillings Dr. Leal said I had? Zero. Needless to say, I had found a new dentist. I spent the next few weeks on the phone with my insurance company and both dental offices, where insurance categorized the work that was done as an "Incomplete Procedure." Lorton Station Dental Care changed their tune real quickly - with payment in question, Dr. Leal was now "more than happy" to redo the crown at no charge if I would like. So they wouldn't charge me a second time when they botched the first one, and I'm supposed to be happy? And this after one year of her telling me the crown was "fine" and didn't need to be replaced. Not surprisingly, I had Aesthetic Dentistry of Lorton do the procedure. Upon removal of my old crown, the dentist and I were greeted by a putrid smell. I couldn't believe I had had that thing in my mouth. Within 24 hours of getting a new crown, my mouth felt noticeably cleaner, and although not measurable, the next day I felt like I had more energy and could even *think* clearer. Since then, I have had zero tonsil stones and no foul smells when using my Waterpik, brushing, or flossing. As for the 12 cavities that I was told I had, to this date, I have had one filling done, and have zero problems - more than two and a half years later. As for Lorton Station Dental Care, I received no apologies, no follow-up's, nothing. They did their damage then hung me up to dry. I seriously question the integrity and motive of this office, and regret ever stepping foot inside.

Friendly staff! I liked having the forms sent to me electronically as a new patient. Those forms can be annoying to fill out inside the office with kids. Thanks to all the staff for your care and patience with my family.

My family and myself have been coming here for about 9yrs. I found Dr Nguyen as a second opinion those yrs back because my previous dentist wasnt the greatest. She and her staff made me feel welcome and stress free, as I was not a fan of the dentist. Through the yrs her office has grown as well as her staff. There are more dentists as well, but Dr Nguyen is who my family and self choose to see. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and I love how the Dr remembers her patients. The facility is always neat and clean with state of the art equipment. I recommend Dr.Nguyen to anyone looking for a dentist.

Excellent customer service from the time you walk in the door! The front and back staff are polite and Drs Nguyen and Leal are wonderful. The office is aesthetically pleasing, clean and organized while being up to date. Highly recommend them for your dental needs.

This was a wonderful dental experience! Past dentist offices have given me anxiety but the ladies at Lorton Station Dental were phenomenal! They listened to me when I requested a small or child sized X-ray thing, and it was the smoothest x-ray experience I've ever had. They explained my treatment plan thoroughly and the prices were shockingly low compared to other dentists I've been to in the past.

Visited the office with my husband and son when the office reopened during the Covid-19 pandemic. They are very prepared for patients and they have visible protections and processes in place to put patients at ease. The office is extremely clean and I felt the quality of dental care far exceeds what others offer. The receptionist was really upbeat and accommodated our group at the last minute. My teeth are healthy and well protected thanks to the Lorton Station Dental staff and doctors!

Truly the best practice I have EVER been to...their staff was so knowledgeable and really took the time out to first of sanitize everything, and I mean everything, make sure that I was comfortable, thorough cleaning and inspection, and so much more. My dentist was so kind and thorough with her inspection. The front desk staff, wow! They are so sweet, quick, efficient. I am guard and sent them a paper through email to fill it out, they sent it back within hours...they didn't forget about me! I've emailed them for appointments and they ALWAYS email back within an hour usually. I can't say enough good things about this place. Truly a dental experience that everyone needs.

Maggie and Kiyoko are the best front desk staff. They are warm, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable! The dental care team are equally as great; they take time to educate you on good oral healthcare with a gentle touch.
