I specialize in Biological and Biomimetic dentistry, whose goal is to mimic and respect the nature of the teeth as we restore them. Guylaine is a French Canadian who grew up in a small town called Trois-Rivieres in the Province of Quebec where she graduated with her hygiene degree from Cgep de Trois-Rivieres in 1987. She practiced for 3 years in Montreal wanting to perfect her English. Being adventurous, she then moved to Los Angeles in 1990.
Guylaine has been working in private practice ever since. She loves her work and caring for her patients. Her passion for educating them about their mouth and health gives her great joy. She has a reputation for being thorough yet gentle. In her free time, Guylaine enjoys being active by doing yoga, hiking, gardening, loves traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Her biggest accomplishment is having raised two beautiful daughters who are now attending Queens University in Canada.

Dr. Boisvert is my favorite doctor. I am so grateful to have found such a kind, intelligent, integrative bio-dentist who uses cutting edge technology (ozone, platelet rich fibrin, allergy testing). Her skill and ability to put you at ease is second to none. She is head and shoulders above the rest. You honestly can't do better than Dr. B. If you are sitting on the fence, take the leap, you'll be glad you did.

The best dentist EVER. I have a phobia and the most horrible history imaginable with shady dentistry. This is what dentist should aspire to be. Kind, compassionate, understanding and non judgmental. She advises not demands. I already have 2 friends that are going to go to her. LA's best kept secret. And I kinda want to keep it to myself. But news like this should be shared. Because people like me are desperate out there. She saved a tooth that 2 dentist told me was "dead" and need to be extracted. She made me smile for the first time, fully in months. You can't put a price on that. She's the best. I'll never go anywhere else.

Dr. Boisvert and her staff make up the best dentist + dental office experience I've ever had! From the front office staff to hygienist/assistants, to Dr. Boisvert herself, everyone is absolutely lovely and gracious and a pleasure to interact with. I had been looking for a biological dentist in west LA for a long time, and feel very lucky to have found this office. Dr. Boisvert uses the highest quality, BPA-free materials from Europe for fillings and bondings. She's also very patient, thoughtful, responsive and attentive in addressing all questions and concerns. While getting my fillings done today, the staff put on a nature documentary which helped me relax and was really enjoyable to watch. And until Dr. Boisvert, I'd also never had any other dentist in decades care enough to actually do something about my concerns regarding the permanent metal retainer behind my bottom front teeth. As soon as I mentioned it, she was quick to perform diagnostic scans and discuss various options and strategies with me, leaving the choice up to me based on what I felt most comfortable with / am willing to spend on a potential solution. The experience feels collaborative and very humanistic. Truly the best dentist ever and I'm very grateful to have found her!

If I could give them 6 stars I would! They are worth more than 5 stars! I have been very skeptical and particular about going to the dentist in the past, due to unpleasant experiences, Doctors selling you stuff you don't need, over promising and under delivering. BUT I MOST SAY, Dr Lorene Catala Boisvert at Bio Smile is the BEST! The staff is amazing, it definitely is a great environment and they take really good care of you! They take the time to review your situation, advice you on what are the best options and provide honest and good solutions for your treatments. I am very happy with the results and they way I was treated! If you are skeptical like me about going to the dentist, look no further, Dr. Lorene Catala Boisvert and her staff are the Best! I usually don't take the time to write a review, but they are definitely worth it! THANK YOU!!

This is my second appointment with Dr. Lorene. She is always so soft spoken kind gentle and so pleasant to be around. My crown was hurting from another dentist and she replaced a screw that was having some issues. The whole entire procedure was painless and pleasant. I can't wait to go back to her next year.

I find Dr. Boisvert is an excellent dentist. She is conscientious and has a lovely gentle manner. I work at a dental laboratory and recently came across her practice by searching for a dentist with Biomimetic training. Knowing that the quality of work coming from her office is consecutively high I booked my consultation. The office is clean and has welcoming vibe. I was impressed with modern technology equipments. The person working at the front desk and assistants are both very nice and professional. I don't want to forget to mention about the nice pots of plants and flowers by the window. It was unlike any other dental offices I've visited. It was a refreshingly present one.
